We stopped in for a margarita and chips and guacamole. Our server was very good.

We've been eating here almost every week for the last month and let me tell you! THEY DON'T MISS! Our usual is The #10 Ground Beef Tacos & the Chicken Flautas! I just tried their Fish Tacos and they are DEEELICIOUS! Even the complimentary chips they give you are nice and warm, the salsa is yummy, and that CREAMY GUAC OH MY GOD The servers are so nice and food is so good. Being born & raised in Palm Springs and have eaten everywhere, THIS IS THE BEST IN PALM SPRINGS, HANDS DOWN. Don't go anywhere else. Let this be your Palm Springs Destination for Mexican Dining MUCHAS GRACIAS LAS CASUELAS! See you next week!

I have to give 5 stars because I love this Mex food of my youth SOO much! (Since 1970.) I had to drive 100 miles out of my way (twice) to eat here while in Riverside for biz this week.No one has same flavors as the Delgado recipes - the red enchilada sauce (+ onions), excellent rice & refried beans, thin & yummy chips & crunchy taco w/ that old familiar salsa - love it so much! Super sizzling hot w/ 2 whole olives + creamy guacamole.Crazy how indifferent the staff are from yeater-year. Could not care less about patrons. Hostess has ZERO eye contact - even w/ several interactions/payment. Waiter is very efficient, but must be used to resting on laurels of the love of their food. No return to check on me - No convo. Very different than when Senora Delgado used to run this place w/ a sense of joy. The 70s Mexi music was great fun - & hysterical that the tacky booths & pics/decorations are all identical for 50+ years. Nostalgia, but I can see why the tourists want to sit outside! Haha. ❤️ ?? Las Casuelas! For atmosphere, I go to Terraza.

Can't wait to be there again, the first time I was there was Easter Break, a group of girls from our high school and two chaperon mothers, don' t remember the motel/hotel name but it was walking distance to Las Casuelas that was recommended by the hotel staff. so I believe there were 8 of us...plus the 2 moms...and the best tacos we had ever had and all of us native Californians' know good tacos! We were all around age 15, had the greatest time ever and before Palm Spring's 'EasterWeek' was a nightmare of teens beerfests and running wild. I did return for some of the Easter Week fun, the La VAronda was our hotel toward the end of Palm Canyon and easy walking to the downtown area..a little farther walk to Las Casuelas...returned for years thereafter. Have not been in P.S. for a while, the last time was a repeat visit to the location downtown but so wanting to go back to the 'original' location...and time for those wonderful deepfried tacos! Hopefully soon to relive 65 plus years of Las Casuelas, always great service no matter 'what age', feel like I have been part of that tradition since they first opened that sweet place!!!

Coming out to Palm Springs to have dinner was totally a waste of time and money. We were a party of 5adults w 3 kids. 3 orders of the different type of enchiladas. All three, were made w canned enchilada salsa. The rice and beans where average. The carne asada plate was average and the shrimp plate was enjoyable. Even the salsa was not fresh salsa, it’s definitely the same one that’s served at fast food Mexicans restaurants. This place was definitely not authentic Mexican food. The food is prepared to fit the likes of the population in Palm Springs.

We popped in with our dog and hoped to get a table outside. The servers accommodated our needs and sat us quickly and brought heaters for our comfort. We had nice margs, chips and salsa and chunky guacamole as apps. All in our party were happy with their food ranging from tortilla soup, bean and cheese burrito, carnitas, etc. This restaurant is a staple and always fun when visiting Palm Springs. We live it and will be back! (Side note: There was a street fair that popped up after sunset and it was fun to walk it after dinner!)

This restaurant is so delicious. Their guacamole is the very best! I am still dreaming about it. We shared a combination plate, and it was so much food to eat. They brought me a fun dessert for free for my birthday. My husband and I had a wonderful time! Staff is just delightful.

Stopped in for lunch when visiting the downtown Palm Springs area. There is another location closer into Downtown with a nicer layout and atmosphere, but it was closed on the day we stopped in. They have seating both inside and out, but a very small and dark inside seating area. Our server was nice, but seemed very busy with guests outside. Their salsa was delicious, best part of the meal. We tried the enchilada style burrito with New York steak and the fish tacos. The steak burrito was okay, there were several pieces of gnarly meat. The fish tacos were gummy and underwhelming. Look forward to trying their second location Las Casuelas Terraza

The food is good, but with any restaurants I eat at, I only like particular items. They do have a pretty mean cheeseburger. I get mine with guacamole.Parking: The back lot on Indian Ave. Is where to park. It also depends on the time of day.Wheelchair accessibility: Access the back entrance. Handicap parking is in front of the ramp for wheelchairs.

The service here is horrible. The middle aged waitress during lunch has a very negative vibe and makes sure she spews it onto everyone who enters the restaurant. I've been there several times lately and sat there for 20 minutes before being served. The waiters don't seem motivated at all. They also will overcharge you. Take notice of your bill! I will not return.

After climbing in JTree all day, the Burrito Ranchero was magical. And a beer.

The drinks didn’t seem alcoholic at all. The food wasn’t bad, but wasn’t really great either. It’s not really what we were hoping for, honestly. Temper your expectations going in, and you’ll be fine.
