My friend was really craving the eggplant in spicy garlic sauce from Su Hong, but I let her know it was now called Suzhe and had new owners. We decided to go anyways as I read the reviews that the food was pretty much the same.Went on a rainy day before noon, and there were only a couple tables taken. Prompt service by the waiter and bus boy the whole time. Got takeout from here a couple of times in January and February and thought it was still quite good - most of the old menu items we tried were pretty much as good as before, though some missing.

Suzhe is under new management as of November 2020 and the new manager is fantastic. The service is excellent and the staff is super friendly - we love Mike! This is our favorite Chinese food in the Bay Area. The staff is following all covid protocols and the food tastes amazing. Every item on the menu is delicious -- we especially love all of the chickens and the string beans!
