Such a cute little mom and pop shop.Super nice staff that are super helpful. The macaroni and cheese is amazing. Jalapeno in the crust. So it has a little kick to it. But no too much. The 3 mac and cheese squares look super small but they are super fulfilling. And for dessert we got a fresh baked apple pieOmg that was amazing. Will definitely be back here.

My mom found out this place that has been here for 5 years! It is amazing! The staff is dedicated, helpful, generous, and thoughtful. But, the food is even better! I have never had better fried chicken (juicy, crisp on the outside, light and flavorful batter). It is kettle fried in small batches so prepare to wait ~7 to 10 min because it is also made to order. Which is why it is insanely delicious! The gorgonzola potatoes salad is brilliant. I usually hate potatoe salad but this is amazing. The tacos ended up beating out the fried chicken in my mind for best thing I had... which insane because the fried chicken is the best I have ever had (admittedly I did not grow up in the South). Plus, the mushrooms in the taco blew my mind. So just come here and get anything on the menu and enjoy the family style food and environment.

Had a great meal here. Saw the place on tv and had to stop in while visiting the L.A. area. Was greeted upon entering the restaurant. The cashier asked if I had been there before and I expressed I had not. He briedly went over the menu and his favorites. I went for the popular chicken poboy!!! Food arrived timely. Looked great. Tasted better. The owner even came out at the end and chatted with us. It was towards closing time. Just a great experience all around. Some key tips. If you get the PO boy ask for a small dish...its too much chicken to pickup and bring your appetite. Place is not huge so large groups [5 or more] I would suggest ordering togo.

Wife saw this place on "The Best Thing I Ever Ate" and decided we had to go. Very happy she took us here. Very cool, quiet, hidden spot that you just have to visit, no matter how far away you live. The staff was nice and extra friendly and it was cool talking to the chef, Shannon. We ordered way too much food, but oh well. Fried Chicken Poboy, Short Rib Tacos, Hunka Hunka Fried Chicken, Sweet & Spicy Corn Salad, Dill Cole Slaw, Teas and dessert. So fresh and so delicious. Will be returning soon, no doubt!

This is why I love Yelp! Because I would of never found this place without it. And what a great little place this is. The woman working the counter was awesome. Right away she asked if it was or first time, and gave us some suggestions. She also came around a couple times to ask how our food was. Super friendly! I like that kinda stuff. We had to go with the Mac N Cheese, but because there's meat in it, my wife was the only one that got to enjoy it. Am I bitter? HELL YES!!! She said it was great and from the looks of it, it looked delicious. We also ordered the fried pickles to share, with 2 types of dipping sauce. YUM!!! I loved their take of these. I went with their veggie sandwich, and I wasn't disappointed. Fresh veggies, lots of flavor on a soft, but not too soft roll. My wife felt like melting her face off with their Flamin Hot chicken nuggets. She loved them and said she would definitely come back again for not just one order but two. We also had some coffee (the most important meal of the day). Americano for the wife, Kona cold brew for me. Both were pretty tasty. I would post pictures, but why? I'd only be posting the same thing everyone else has. Plus, I didn't take any because I was too busy stuffing my face.

My friend lives out this way, and she told me we had to come here. I'm a s***** for any with gravy. The food was amazing, service was even better. The owner was nice enough to let us mingle. Highly reccomend if you are in the area. Keep up the amazing work !

Simply delicious! I stopped in here for the first time after my Float. It's a small place with a wide variety of comfort foods and Southern food with a California twist. Being from Louisiana, I couldn't pass it up. I got the Sunday Special, a hearty portion of Spam Loco-Moco (Spam, brown gravy and two fried eggs served over steamed rice). I also got a double espresso to round out my breakfast. I was blown away at the portion size and the quality of the food. They don't really have table service, but the folks there are competent and friendly, so I wanna super happy. This is my new go-to place on Sundays.

I'd almost describe the place as a boutique restaurant - it's small, and the menu is always full of oddly enticing items.
