Placed an order through grubhub. Took them more than half an hour to contact me just to tell me that they were not going to honor the order. Never gave any options as to have me pick the food up or change an item.Order had already been charged to my card so they didn't care one bit.Never again will I bring my business to this place.Horrible service, to say the least.

Slop!!! Sticky salt and pepper shakers. Plastic table cloths had holes in them. Egg drop soup was coagulated. Shrimp was slimy. Overall tasted like 3 day old food.

Read the Yelps and got take out. Recommendations from other Yelpers were War Won Ton Soup and dry Sautéed green beans. We needed one more item so asked the person on the phone what they recommend. Combination Kung Pow! It was amazing! Fresh red bell peppers enveloped into a spicy peanut sauce with chicken beef and shrimp! Yum Yum Yum! The soup was fresh, hot and flavorful and the green beans were so good they were almost naughty! Don't be scared because there's not a packed dining room, honestly I LOVE private dining! But we walked over with the dog to grab take out because, the dog wanted to stroll and meet people. So we would totally come back for dine in and take out! Meal for 2 with leftovers for tomorrow was $59 including tip.

It's so crazy this place. The menus are falling apart, there is one guy working in flip flops at the front, the tables are filthy, white pepper always empty, a guy who looks like he is the dishwasher taking orders and it's always empty but my son and I keep coming back and order the same thing every time and it's great. One small hot and sour soup one small wonton soup, the house fish fillet and rice. Always good. I wouldn't want to look in the kitchen though!

The Grandview Palace is situated in lower Lake Ave. in Pasadena. It's rooftop seating boasts a surprising mountain view. There are plenty of shades that can be lowered on a sunny day. The grilled cheese dipper was an explosion of flavor with the perfect crunch to accompany the bisque for dipping. I've dined there a few times and the great service makes for a consistently pleasant experience.

The BEST Chinese food in town! Delicious dishes, reasonably priced. My favorites: Honey Walnut Shrimp, Orange Chicken, Wonton Soup, & Sauteed Green Beans.

Our group stopped into Grandview Palace this week after seeing the ridiculous prices of the surrounding restaurants. Very quiet and cozy when we came in (around 8pm on a Thursday). Service was extremely prompt. We had menus and drinks almost immediately. Wait staff was very patient with our particularly rowdy group and made us feel very comfortable. Our group all ordered different items and appetizers and yet everything came out hot and ready with minimal wait time. ~5-10 minutes after ordering. Food was delicious. I personally had the sweet and sour chicken. Taste was 10/10. The chicken was perfectly crispy yet still moist on the inside. Rather than serving you rice on your plate, they instead give your whole table a (from what I understand) unlimited refill bowl of white rice to share. I actually really preferred this so I could portion out my own rice and not overbear my entree with it. Portion size was amazing. I had my fill before I even finished half of my meal (be prepared to ask for a takeaway box lol). Price was also very good. For my whole meal (Sweet + Sour Chicken, Potstickers, and a Soda) I only paid about $25 before the tip which is extremely reasonable considering the amount of food that was included. Overall rating was a 10/10. We hope to come back to Pasadena soon if not just to make another trip to Grandview Palace.

In my experience, Grandview Palace consistently delivers an excellent Chinese dinner, and I mean that literally, I only get my Chinese food delivered from them. For the past 2 years I've been ordering delivery and it's always fast, hot, fresh, and delicious. They have great service. I know I'll be ordering from them again very soon. Thanks Grandview for the great service and awesome food!

My go to for Chinese food. The Kung pao string beans are amazing and always delicious. Green beans cooked perfect. Always friendly service. Have only used take out so cannot comment on indoor dining. Love Grandview PalaceVegetarian options: Kung pao string beans among the options

Good basic Chinese food, no bells and whistles, yet fast service, hot food, large portions, very reasonable prices, and even a special lunch special menu.

This place doesn't look like much but the food was really quite good. The service was excellent also. according to the kids, the pot stickers were some of the best they've had. I personally thought the combination fried rice was particularly tasty. recommend!!
