I've "researched" many Handel's locations around Southern California... this is one of the better ones. Service is fast & friendly. I was amazed at how the line moved quickly. There are lots of freshly-made ice creams to select from. Each serving is larger than other "artisan" ice cream places. I always feel like I get my money's worth here. PRO TIP - There are covered tables & seats behind the building.
Handel's Homemade Ice Cream is simply the best! I can confidently say it's the best ice cream I've ever had. My favorite flavors are cotton candy and monkey business. The portions are incredibly generous, perfect for sharing between two or even three people. What's even better is that the small size is actually a medium, so you get even more delicious ice cream to enjoy. We thoroughly enjoyed all their flavors. Amazing ice cream with tons of different flavors, handmade everyday. The milkshakes, malts, banana splits, and etc., are just as amazing. The price is just right for premium handmade ice cream. You can even get a pint or a quart of your favorite ice cream(s) to go if you really want. The only downside is that there is no indoors, you order your food through window openings at the counter, while standing outside.
