“The ham and Brie danish is to die for. Customer service is always amazing. First time I went was back in November and the owner herself went around checking in on people with the warmest smile. Went there yesterday and wanted to take some danishes home but didn't want it sitting in the car while we were at the beach. They were nice enough to let us keep our pastries with them all day and picked up before closing.“
“This an absolute gem. Cook has the world's best vanilla (you'll have to prove me wrong) and it is made right here in Palo Robles. Finding it is a little difficult, just let your navigation app get you in the vicinity and then look for the nondescript peach colored building bordered by cypress trees. They are a small manufacturing plant but are prepared for retail sales. They also have an online sales site if you can't make your way to Paso Robles. You are "greeted" by the vanilla fragrance when you enter. The office is stuffed with bags of vanilla beans and the many vanilla products they sell. The folks in the offices were very friendly and answered my many questions. This was the highlight of my visit to Paso Robles and I am anxious to use some of the new products I purchased. This is a true treasure.“
“My 6yr old wanted a "wedding" cake for her birthday party. This cake was so perfect, flawless and beautiful!! I wish I took more pics before we ate it. It was delicious, she used whip cream frosting without even being asked which I was very happy about cuz buttercream is way too sweet.“
“Let me tell you about this place, because if you've never been, y'all are missing out! Everything is made in-house and the portions are beyond generous. I got two guava empanadas and a huge thing of jamaica for less than $10. The empanadas are literally larger than my hand (See photo). Same goes for the agua fresca, filled to the brim with minimal ice. To top it off, the person running it was so friendly and nice!“
“This place offers a wide variety of pastries and desserts at extremely reasonable prices. We stopped by in the afternoon, thinking there would be no selection of pastries, but were pleasantly surprised. The cost was unbelievably reasonable. We went back another day, because of this. We didn't try the sandwiches, but if they are like the cinnamon rolls and cookies, they'd be good as well.“

“I contacted Debbie regarding a few Keto chocolates and she happened to have them in stock! (Keto is special order only). I live 50 miles north of her bakery but she was able to neatly pack eat cupcake in an ice chest so that they would arrive in great condition! The comments on here are true regarding her amazing customer service and kindness. I pan to continue purchasing from this wonderful woman and trying more of her baked goods!“
“I have to say that when my fiancé came home with a $50 cake for my daughter's 13th birthday I was not happy. I had never had a Tres Leches cake before and my other daughter said they are overly sweet and really soggy. Sounded terrible to me. I reluctantly took a slice to make my 13 yr old birthday girl happy and to not waste an expensive cake. I am not exaggerating when I say that their Tres Leches cake is the BEST cake I have ever had. It is perfectly balanced and the strawberries in the whipped cream filling are to die for. I have always loved strawberry shortcake with half and half poured on top and this cake reminds me of that. My only suggestion would be to have more strawberries but that just because I'm greedy and love strawberries. There are very few times we have finished a purchased cake but I am happy to say not one slice went to waste. You will not be disappointed with this cake! In case you can't tell, I Highly recommend.“
