I'm French, love French food, very happy to have found this delightful place close to home. The staff was nice and helpful. “As a man from Tennessee and a lover of soul food, I can tell you, you'll not find any better than here. Dubs has the best chicken and catfish this side of the Mississippi and a strong contender for the other side. The atmosphere is laid back with some good tunes, and Dub walking around and talking with everyone and treating them like family. I can't recommend this place anymore cause they don't allow anymore more stars. Plus the portions are grandma size.”

“I had a great food experience at six test kitchen! Only thing I would say is the service wasn't up to par for such a restraunt as a michellin starred. But the food was absolutely amazing plating was superb and it was so much food and it honestly was a great time and I would highly recommend it to anyone! Was a great time and the wine paring was to die for!”

“I have to say that when my fiancé came home with a $50 cake for my daughter's 13th birthday I was not happy. I had never had a Tres Leches cake before and my other daughter said they are overly sweet and really soggy. Sounded terrible to me. I reluctantly took a slice to make my 13 yr old birthday girl happy and to not waste an expensive cake. I am not exaggerating when I say that their Tres Leches cake is the BEST cake I have ever had. It is perfectly balanced and the strawberries in the whipped cream filling are to die for. I have always loved strawberry shortcake with half and half poured on top and this cake reminds me of that. My only suggestion would be to have more strawberries but that just because I'm greedy and love strawberries. There are very few times we have finished a purchased cake but I am happy to say not one slice went to waste. You will not be disappointed with this cake! In case you can't tell, I Highly recommend.”

“I picked up two pizzas last night for my wife and I. A Roasted Chicken Garlic and a Supreme. Both were excellent!! We really enjoyed them. The gentleman at the counter who made the pizzas was great. Very friendly and helpful. I'll be going back soon to give a try on other items on the menu.”

“If you're into sipping wine with a view, you gotta check out Stillwater, their patio is the real deal with stunning vineyard views.Once we sat down, we were served with complimentary olives and crackers. They grow their own olives and they're super delicious but too bad they don't sell them.We were told that post-covid, they used to host weddings now they are hosting music events instead.We tried their blanc, grenache, merlot, and blend and we were impressed with the wines. We ended up getting a few bottles of their rose, white, and red to take home. Stillwater is one of the best spots for wine tasting. Super chill vibe, awesome wine, and that view is definitely worth a visit! It's dog-friendly and our dog loves this winery too!”

“This is the best cafe in town! Clean and comfortable space with friendly and efficient staff. Highly recommend the Amstrdm Breakfast sando with croissant. the pastry is light and flaky, layered with tender eggs and avocado. Definitely ask for their famous homemade fermented hot sauce!”

“What a lovely experience at this winery! Wine flights available (5 or 6 tastings), hammocks, trails, and games outside. Pistachios are a must as they have many acres to grow them. Weekday I didn’t need a reservation, not sure about the weekend but probably recommended”

“Decided to try Italian on our recent trip to Paso Robles and we were thrilled with our selection. Started off with the Carpaccio tartufo which is a beef tenderloin with parmesan fonduta with shave black truffles. It is to die for. The raw beef melted in your mouth and the sauce was absolutely incredible. Since we were going Italian, we had to go with the pasta. I had the Fettuccine salsicca which was homemade pasta with pork sausage, fennel, fresh tomato, herbs and white wine. There was an empty plate when I was done. The portion was just right. Not too little, not too much. The service was as good as it gets and the ambiance was exactly what you'd expect if you want a great date night.”

“Italians may get mad at me but this was better than Antica de Michelle in Naples. Flavor was insane, there was barely any flop, the crust was crunchy and beautifully charred. I would eat this every day if I could. The couple who runs the small joint are super nice and fun too. Paired with a great staff at the winery this is a must try for everyone.”

“Lunch for 4 on a Monday. The restaurant is extremely clean and well spaced. We ordered and sat at an empty table. We ordered the following, Polpette, the focaccia, the mighty cap mushroom pasta dish, the lasagna colognes, and a coffee. I must say, the mighty cap mushroom pasta was the best dish to date I have ever had. The sauce was nice and creamy, packed with flavor in every single bite! Danica was at the register, and Garrett served us water. Both were so sweet. A must come in for some extremely tasteful dishes.”

“1st off, Erik the owner was more then a good owner of a proud business in the pool industry. He was extremely friendly and I noticed he would make sure everyone was taken care of while catering to his regulars and would bounce around keeping the place clean and tighty as well. The new light grey felt is my favorite to play on and takes care of his equipment cuz you can tell he literally cares bout his place his business and others to keep coming back to a good taken care environment. All the tables have great lighting for serious pool players to see the angles very nicely and the felt again is the best in my opinion to shoot pool on and very easy on the eyes as light grey is. Crimson Cue is definitely an amazing chill & very friendly hang out environment for all kinds of reasons to go out and shoot pool. Place to chill with friends, birthdays, dates, serious pool players to practice or compete and just to hang out and have a few drinks. The work that has been put into Erik's establishment is definitely paying off and looks like more to come as well. I'm from the LA area and was out there for a few days and glad I looked this place up before heading out and happy I was able to bring my cues and balls to visit Crimson Cue. I made a few new friends and look forward to visiting for a get away with my lady. I highly recommend this spot for good times and a great pool experience! Also the lights are dimming lights so if you don't want the bright lights Erki will be more then willing to dim the lights for you. Just go already lol you will not regret it at all. ?”

“I am new to sushi and I am slowly ramping up my tastebuds. I ordered my meal to go and the combination that I wanted was not in the menu, the restaurant accommodated me and the order was delicious.”

“I love this place, the food is always good and for me and my family we feel it's well portioned. My husband got the steak, I got the salmon piccata and my son got a pepperoni pizza (not on the menu) and it was all great!!! We also got the pork empanadas . Don't forget to get the homemade strawberry lemonade. The service is always nice and on point, it's usually empty (which is weird for how good the food is) so the waitresses are always very attentive. There is soft music playing and the restaurant is perfect for romantic dinners when you want some privacy. Most places are super packed for dinner and pack you like sardines but this place has nice space between the tables. I would definitely be coming here more often.”

“We love the bread which comes with the carrot butter. Citrus salad has very refreshing flavor which we love. We also love the saffron vatelli also is our favoriate， the green peas is so sweet and the pasta is full with the sauce, onion inside is very tasty. The sea bass is a little bit overcooked for us. We was expecting something more tender, broccolini is a little bit too thin. The farm to table makes food very fresh and good. We love it”

“This place is great if you want a low key drinking experience with great flavors. Bartenders were super cool and it's a nice change to have your cell phone locked up so you can't use it.I will be visiting again next time I'm in town.”

“Known for their Syrah, not their service! ?PROS:-Gorgeous everything! Architecture, interior design, the landscaping, the views of the vineyard. It was all beautiful.-Wine was phenomenal ? a bunch of blends with gradually increasing amounts of syrah.-The servers did all seem very knowledgeable about the wine.$50 for tastings, and it's 4 wines. Small pours, BUT they were happy to pour more if you asked!PRO TIP ? -Honestly we should have gotten 1 tasting and bought a bottle or 3 for the group to share, bc the wine was so good.CONS:-Service was lacking from one of the staff, mediocre from another (BUT exceptional from one of the guys!) Energy and attitude play a big part in how service is perceived.-Inside of the building all smelled like mildew. Apparently this happens after it rains there? Seems like something I'd want to fix I'm such a gorgeous property when smell is such a big part of wine tasting. (Definitely get a seat outside because they have fires and heaters!)”

“This place is a hidden gem. We had a fabulous wine tasting experience. They have very amazing setup for wine tasting overlooking vineyards. They extensive list wines, great reds and white wines (ended up buying 2 bottles:)). I forgot to ask the name of the server (may be owner :)) but he was gracious host. He was very knowledgeable and took time to explain about each wine he poured. He went above and beyond and even gave us few more pours which were not on the list. We were in last slot 4-5 pm, but we were still not rushed. In fact, he made sure we have a good time. Mush better experience than even Napa / Sonoma wineries. I would definitely recommend this place and would return if I am in Paso Robles again.”

“We went to the Fableist for a wine tasting (we drove by without any reservation). We had an amazing time here - the tasting was very diverse and helped us understand the great variety of wines the winery offers. The view from the terrace is breathtaking and the service was just perfect!We ended up buying their latest white wine, the rosé and the chillable red wine. Being close to 100 USD, the tasting fee of 25 USD was waivered.A couple which came after us brought their own snacks - a great idea for the next time!Highly recommended!”

“We come to Paso at least once a year, and have been to a lot of the wineries in the area. We are wine club members at larger places like Daou and Niner, however, we are always looking for smaller, family owned places with good wine to try, which can be a hit-or-miss experience. We love when you meet the people who love what they do and are actually involved in the business. We stumbled on Pelletiere a few years ago. The owner was there and she was fantastic and we had a great experience, and walked out with a case of wine. Over the past two years, every time we opened one of those bottles, we were blown away with them. So, when we were planning our recent trip, we made a reservation as we knew we needed to get more of their wine. So, if you are heading to Paso and looking for a unique and quaint place to taste, come here! You are usually welcomed by the owner, they are dog friendly and the setting is quiet and serene. On top of all that - the wines are fantastic, especially if you like Italian varietals. Due to our love of their wines, we did end up joining the wine club this time!”

“I go to this Jack in the Box quite often and I have always been satisfied with my service and experience here. I sometimes eat inside but I mostly use the drive thru. I think the thing that helps is using the Jack in the Box app to help speed things along. The staff here is always friendly too. If there's an issue with my order, which rarely happens, they take care of it. I definitely recommend this location. It's a good spot.”

Caleb and Angelique also deliver service of the highest caliber. In an era where exemplary service is increasingly rare, it appears to be the standard at this Denny’s location. The quality of service extends beyond the overnight shift. Day and evening patrons can expect treatment akin to that of a five-star establishment. Gracie, a constant presence, greets each customer with a smile and a positive attitude. Laura, another server, ensures that guests are well-accommodated throughout their visit. The welcoming atmosphere and positive experiences are consistent with every visit to this Denny’s. Those who have not yet dined at this location are certainly missing out on a unique experience.”

“Joined by a group of 5 friends we excitedly ordered 4 dishes: burrata, lasagna, mushroom pasta, and cioppino. The burrata was nice with a bright pesto, however the asparagus pieces should have been made smaller. The lasagna was delicious but a little too soft. The mushroom pasta had a great variety of mushrooms but the flavor was a little too simple and earthy. The cioppino was great, but for the cost I expected more. There is also a 20% gratuity included for parties of 6 or more.”

“We love Tiger Tea House! Visited here more than a couple of times now and finally grabbed a punch card to keep track of the drinks we get. Cutest little shop with a quiet atmosphere and modern atmosphere. There are tables for dining in. My favorite drink is the Strawberry Matcha Milk with strawberry popping boba and the non-dairy powder. It is very delicious! We also thought the Tiger Stripes with regular tapioca boba was just as good.”

“A very popular restaurant and reservations are recommended. The service was friendly and very good throughout our meal. I ordered the seafood fettuccine and it was amazing! Fresh sweet shrimp, yummy scallops, fish and baby clams & mussels! Soooo good! My husband ordered the lamb but it was just OK. The Burrata salad was very nice as a starter. They serve fresh bread with a Kalamata olive tapenade while you wait for your food to be served. We had a couple of cocktails that were done very well. A cucumber martini and a Negroni.”

Some seats outside and benches seating, which wasn't comfortable. This is a very small Starbucks. It was close to the motel, so it was super convenient.”

“We tasted 4 outstanding 2021 wines. Russell Family Vineyard was 100% syrah, the other 3 were blends of Sarah, Mourvedre and Grenache. All rated 93 to 94 points. Glenn, the Tasting Room manager is extremely well versed on wines from many countries and I'd say an expert on Paso Robles wines. Very happy with our Tasting and thrilled to be Club members!”

“I've been compelled to write a review. We are major pizza goers, and their BBQ Chicken Pizza was a 10/10, best of that flavor of pizza we've ever had. Very cute atmosphere, great live music, nice staff and owner. IT IS A MUST TO GO THERE! Half the time you go out to eat nowadays and it's so expensive and the experience and food is sub par, but this place exceeded our expectations. WELL WORTH THE MONEY and it was also very reasonable. THANKS FOR THE DELICIOUS LUNCH!!!”

“We stopped by this small Mom & Pop restaurant on NYR for dinner, but they had stopping seating as it was almost closing time. They allowed us to order to go and we sat at the bar for a drink while waiting for our food. We got to talking to one of the owners, so friendly and great convo. Our food came out and she let us eat our to-go order at the bar even though they were closed. I'm super picky about Mexican food and this place did not disappoint. I ordered the flautas con papa plate and everything was delicious. My friends had the tacos and we all cleared our plates. The food was THAT GOOD. Definitely will go back when I'm in town again.”

“This place was so yummy for breakfast!! I tried the pancakes and the chorizo scrambled eggs. Everything was very tasty and everyone enjoyed their meals. The service was very fast and food got brought out very quickly. They were also quick to accommodate our large group and pushed a few tables together. Our waitress was so nice and very sweet and attentive as well. The decor is plain and nothing special but the food makes up for it. The churros were amazing too!! Overall this is a great spot for breakfast and we will def be coming back when we are in town.”

“Great service, they gifted me and my friend some donut holes for our littles. I got the breakfast burrito, ham and cheese croissant sandwich and a lemon lavender donut. Everything was delicious and made fresh, I'll likely come back tomorrow to try the other donut flavors. The place is very quaint, relatively small inside (2 tables with a 2 seater bar) with some outdoor seating.”

“Great food, fast service and a friendly atmosphere.Stopped by to get something to eat because we ended up being early for Art in the park. Ran into Brunch and they offered my 2 favorite foods in 1! Breakfast and Sandwich! My fiancé ordered the berries and cream French toast and both were great! 10/10 would definitely recommend!The bacon was crispy and delicious, the croissant was buttery and flakey, and the eggs were fluffy and flavorful. Truly a magnificent sandwich. The French toast is incredibly sweet, rich and filling! If you don’t know what to get, definitely go for the French toast!”

“Let me tell you about this place, because if you've never been, y'all are missing out! Everything is made in-house and the portions are beyond generous. I got two guava empanadas and a huge thing of jamaica for less than $10. The empanadas are literally larger than my hand (See photo). Same goes for the agua fresca, filled to the brim with minimal ice. To top it off, the person running it was so friendly and nice!”

“Great breakfast spot! Skip over the low reviews for Heidi's. They be crazy! First off, inflation is real... don't blame restaurants for raising prices so they can fill up their gas tank and feed their family. The Chile verde omelette is so good. Not overly spicy but full of flavor. I could eat this once a week! The ambiance is nice and clean. I visited on a cold rainy day, it was nice and toasty warm inside. Can't wait to come back to try more dishes again soon. If you like good Mexican style breakfast, give this place a try.”

The incredibly knowledgeable and wonderfully attentive Kristin took us through the ins and outs of each pour with style and charm. Everything from the labels to the lighting enhanced my pleasure as I savored the delicious wines and felt the Jersey tension slip away. My appreciation for Chardonnay just found it's top contestant with their amazing Amor Fati! The castle architecture and comfortable design of House made my afternoon at Tooth & Nail one I won't soon stop talking about!”

“We love the bread which comes with the carrot butter. Citrus salad has very refreshing flavor which we love. We also love the saffron vatelli also is our favoriate， the green peas is so sweet and the pasta is full with the sauce, onion inside is very tasty. The sea bass is a little bit overcooked for us. We was expecting something more tender, broccolini is a little bit too thin. The farm to table makes food very fresh and good. We love it”

“As a man from Tennessee and a lover of soul food, I can tell you, you'll not find any better than here. Dubs has the best chicken and catfish this side of the Mississippi and a strong contender for the other side. The atmosphere is laid back with some good tunes, and Dub walking around and talking with everyone and treating them like family. I can't recommend this place anymore cause they don't allow anymore more stars. Plus the portions are grandma size.”

But I do go to Paso Robles whenever I drive to visit my sister near Santa Cruz and I'll make it a point to stop by again for the excellent food and service! “I definitely enjoyed the smaller portions to be able to try and enjoy a few different things without feeling like it's too much overall. From the burger to the Mac and cheese and the brussel sprouts they all had a very different and unique flavors. A place I would definitely go back to. Whiskey is a bit on the pricey side but seems to be on par with the area overall for some reason.”

“We stopped here for dinner tonight as a last minute decision and I am so glad we did. The food was incredible and our server, Sally, was the sweetest. We had the coconut shrimp.and grilled artichoke starters, followed by the Mahi Mahi with coconut rice, spinach and Mango salsa and a Caesar salad with salmon. The fish was cooked to perfection. “A very popular restaurant and reservations are recommended. The service was friendly and very good throughout our meal. I ordered the seafood fettuccine and it was amazing! Fresh sweet shrimp, yummy scallops, fish and baby clams & mussels! Soooo good! My husband ordered the lamb but it was just OK. The Burrata salad was very nice as a starter. They serve fresh bread with a Kalamata olive tapenade while you wait for your food to be served. We had a couple of cocktails that were done very well. A cucumber martini and a Negroni.”

“10/10. Amazing food and service. It's definitely an American version of Latin dishes but this Mexican approves! Chips with guacamole and salsa are always a must! And the salsas were delicious, unfortunately not spicy at all but very tasty. Our short rib meals were very savory. We also tried the pozole which did not disappoint.”

“Short review for Cowgirl Cafe. This is a casual, country themed restaurant in Paso Robles. It can get crowded on the weekends, but the food is pretty good solid American standards. The chicken fried steak is very good. The folks working are friendly and helpful. This is a good place for breakfast.”

They have a smaller food menu, more like appts for the drinks, but as it turns out the food portions are fine for dinner and the food was really excellent. “We had such an amazing four-hour visit to Firestone Walker. We were in Paso Robles for an anniversary weekend getaway. While my wife likes wine tasting, I'm not as enthused. Beer, on the other hand, is another story. I reserved the Barrel Room Tour which is more expensive than their regular tour and only once on Saturday and Sunday. But before our 2pm tour, we needed lunch so we figured it was a good idea to use the Taproom restaurant. Went there and ordered via QR code which is how they're doing it. We are a large warm pretzel and salads. I couldn't decide on beverages so for a tasting flight which was delicious and enjoyable. The tour was amazing. Our tour guide Chris was knowledgeable and funny. He was super encouraging to ask questions and easy about time. We had 3 oz. samples during the tour and then more after the tour. You also get FW swag. As much as I love 805, I only tried other beers while on site. My biggest regret was not buying beer to go! I had tasted beers all day (via 3 oz. glasses and I didn't finish all) so I was burnt out on beer at the end. This is the Willy Wonka Factory for beer. So fun.”

“We tried this place on a busy Friday night so the bar was the only thing available, it is indeed hot and new so be prepared. Aside from that, the service was extremely fast- even with a packed house. Flavor was impeccable both on the ramen and gyoza we ordered. Everything tasted fresh and wonderful, exceeding my expectations by far. We will most definitely be back to try more of the menu!”

“This is a great addition to the Atascadero Resturant. Although the Atascadero spot has a much better in house dinning experience. The food in the new Paso location is exactly like the original, but with a Smaller eat in dining area. For those who enjoy take out this is the spot!! My go to is the Chicken Torta.”
