“Great food but the location of and line for the bathroom gives me anxiety, mainly for the staff. It was a charming place in a charming area in general. There was an incredibly loud table next to us that I would’ve loved to be told to quiet down but I know that’s not necessarily something a restaurant can do.I really enjoyed the bread (despite not liking olives) and butter, pasta, and branzino. The chicken had a good crispy chicken but was a bit dry in the center as chicken breast tends to be. Didn’t love the carrots because they were pickled but that’s personal preference. The olive oil cake was delicious and I liked the crisp edges. Would’ve liked more strawberries than rhubarb.“

“The most beautiful and delicious dinner experience! The food was absolutely incredible, and the service was even better. Would recommend to anyone looking for a restaurant in the Sebastopol area! An authentic and personal dining experience! The 4.9 star review does not lie, you will not be disappointed!“

“Best gyro and the dolma is INCREDIBLE! This is a MUST VISIT spot when in the area. Tell Sam that Chris & Zip sent you. You’ll be addicted to his food, service and charm. A place for real Mediterranean flavors, and none of that big box processing. He’s open Monday - Saturday, with tri-tip on Tuesdays and Thursdays. Honestly, stop by and try the food. You will be transported to a new land of flavors and comfort.“

“Absolutely phenomenal! The hype is real.Ham & cheese empanada: SO GOOD with gooey cheese and a really flavorful ham! Not your usual ham & cheese.Spicy beef empanadas: great seasonings with just a touch of heat.Tarts: buffalo (crazy good, a bit tangy with tons of savory) , spinach/artichoke (creamy perfection with loads of seasoning), plum/bacon (sweet and savory), al pastor (the sauces really make it), and a dessert blueberry cobbler. Each was absolutely mind-blowing. The crust was so fluffy and light, and the fillings extremely flavorful.Husband says it's now his favorite spot in Santa Rosa. We just finished and already want to place a second order. Going to try their sandwich next.(Also the box comes with a fresh flower. Nice little touch :D)“

“We had the most amazing experience and meals! We came as two families, and it was very family friendly for our young kids. The kids loved the yucca fries and chicken. I found the ceviche to be phenomenal and the best I’ve had in north bay (and I get ceviche any time it’s on a menu). The staff was super welcoming and warm, and so personable. The piano player made it an even more elevated experience. I’m excited to discover our family’s new favorite restaurant in Petaluma!Kid-friendliness: Kids love the roasted chicken and yucca fries. They cut up the chicken in easy to eat pieces.“
“Everything from the atmosphere, the amazing beer, food trucks, and just phenomenal staff!!! It’s definitely a place you want to be at!!!“
“Don’t miss this excellent stop in cute downtown Glen Ellen. Taste delicious red and white varietals, bubbly, and port. Something for everybody! Such a fun experience—it’s a welcoming, comfortable tasting room with a great vibe, including the background music and displayed local artwork and jewelry. The prices for their wines are incredibly reasonable and with a hard-to-find tasting fee of only $15-$20, you really have to check it out. Husband and wife owners, Ryan and Lindsey, personally welcome and serve and they’re very knowledgeable, friendly, and clearly committed to the quality of their wine.“

“No longer catered to locals. Menu has been stripped of favorites like The Valley Of The Moon Benedict and can no longer mix & match Benedict’s. Waitress states “it’s too much work for the chef”. What is still on the menu is quality. It will be a great place for tourist who never knew the old great cafe.“

“The coffee and food is good but the atmosphere is what keeps bringing me back. The people are friendly, the location can’t be beat, there’s always a comfortable feeling when I walk in and I’ve started to think of it as a home away from home. Reece always knows how to make my latté perfectly.Kid-friendliness: Perfect place to bring a kid!“

“Love Jalapeños! They have all the viral birria eats! Birria ramen, birria pizza, it's all so amazing! The beef is so tender and juicy. Service is homey and kind. There's only one bench to eat though, but it's far from the Mitote food parks music if you're not good with loud music.“

“Love this unique place where you can get poets in a range of styles and from many different grapes. They also make vinegar and liqueurs. The staff like Amy and Bill are awesome as well. Great place to buy local unique gifts!“

“This is my go to lunch spot. Everything is amazing! I usually get a sandwich and soup. All of their ingredients are fresh and the soups are to die for. Get the broccoli cheddar whenever it's available. Trust me. Everyone who works here is super friendly and I always love stopping in.“
“Love, love love Henhouse!!!Staff are attentive to customer needs, from deftly answering questions about their beers to keeping the space safe and welcoming to everyone. It’s a lot, doing what they do in such a well-loved and well-visited establishment. Big props to the team here in Petaluma.I’d list my favorite beers from here, but for brevity, I’ll just say: if you like a good DIPA, this is the place for you.Something I like about Hen beyond the amazing bartenders, and the SUPER solid beer selection, is the fun and funky vibes they keep. Music is almost always right, patrons never seem to get too wild, and people are welcome to bring their groups, their families, and their well-behaved canine companions. Their food trucks always hit the spot (Shout outs to Api Hot Chicken and Bayou on the Bay!!) and their seasonal events are always fun and engaging.I feel like they value their customers and the community they have cultivated. Buncha cool chickens, they are. I’m definitely calling myself a loyal fan and customer.PS Bring back KORN Radio! Lol“

“First of all, this is a wine shop. If you are an up-tight wine snob then go elsewhere. However, if you know wine, and you’ve explored local California wines but are tired of fruit bombs, oak, butter, and exorbitant prices … then Jason will open your eyes to wines from all around the world that are affordable! Keep in mind he can sell you a glass or a bottle but cannot give you a free taste because of his license … so don’t friggin ask! However, he can keep you laughing until you have to run to the bathroom … just remember to pat the gnome on the nose!“

“I've had combination banh mi from here many times in the past, but I would have to say, today's sandwich hit a home-run for me. I can't get over just how perfect it was. The best traditional banh mi can be found in the South Bay, but this place is just as good, if not better. The bun is nicely toasted, crisp but not hard. The meat was tasty, pate super creamy and the tangy pickled vegetables balanced off the richness of the mayonnaise sauce. Party in my mouth with all the amazing flavors. I highly recommend this place. (Hint: ask the lady owner to make the sandwich. Wink...) It's out of this world!“

“Two words: Fancy. Toast. Girlies, hear me out, we love having our little treats that are fantastic flavor and a balance between sweet/savory. The fancy toast is all of that. They come bite sized, and you can get four for $29. The leek fritters and steak fries were a great appetizer and especially delicious during happy hour. I definitely would come back here again on gorgeous weather days. The seating/furniture is inviting for groups who want a casual hangout.“

“Update 1 Feb2024 Came in for a date night. Jeff helped with any questions that we had and checked in here and there despite how busy things were. Water refills were good tho infrequent. I'm surprised I haven't come back for so long. The pizza was a mainstay for the place which I told my partner about but we would venture to other places of habit during those occasions. We had gotten a 12 inch omni and a couple of beers to round things. The omni was solid, crust had good bite to it. I liked that they had a hazy on the menu as well which finished things off nicely. Will definitely be back sometime for more pizza now that we've broached the place for a night out.“

“This is a classic diner. Wide variety of choices and staff is a well oiled machine of friendliness and competence. The fruit side of my breakfast burrito today was a work of art. Delicious. One of the best places to have breakfast in Sonoma County.“
“Half the fun here is getting to Belden Barns--the road over Sonoma Mountain makes it a bit of a challenge and the entrance isn't super-clear, but once you get inside this sprawling property (and close the gate to keep the deer out) you'll get a chance to see a really cool vineyard/farm/winery taking shape. The tasting in an old barn is unpretentious and straightforward. After a nice Rose' to start, the unfiltered Sauvignon Blanc was an unexpectedly substantive and fruit-forward SB that deserves the plaudits it has received. Belden Barns is also the site of the only Gruner Veltliner planting in Sonoma County (and one of a tiny handful in the whole state) and the estate bottling of it is nicely-made, with a clean finish and solid acidity. The Serendipity Pinot Noir is outstanding--liked it much more than the Estate Pinot Noir, though it was nice to see the contrast in winemaking style between the two (go for the Estate if you like cherry cola). As for the Syrah, well, if you like Syrah, you'll likely like this Syrah. It's a good cool climate Syrah. The tasting consisted of 6 wines but they had plenty of other interesting bottles and we picked up their Blanc de Noirs and a Late Harvest Viognier. Surrounded by so many Chard/Pinot-only places, it's refreshing to find variety while still maintaining quality. While the Wishing Tree experience was a great way to cap off the visit, it was neat just to be able to walk around the vines and see some of the views off of Sonoma Mountain and into the valleys and hills around. There's a lot of interesting history about the property and some really cool farming ideas that they're working on. It's nice to see a winery that's taking a different direction from most others. We'll definitely be back to try the cider and some other wines and will look forward to seeing how the place and the wines develop.“
“One of my favorite wineries. Such a hidden gem. The owner was super nice and very fun to chat with. The experience was very relaxing and intimate. Went here with my brother a few years ago and looking to go back next time I'm in the area. I thought I was only a white wine girly but was blown away by the cab!“
“My friends and I LOVED this place! It was so beautiful and the vibes are immaculate! My friend is a member here so we all got to wine taste for free. The service was amazing- they greeted us with so much hospitality & warmth and I enjoyed every single glass I tasted! Ended up getting a bottle of their signature Chardonnay. Will definitely come back again!“

“I would recommend the Nashville Hot Fried Chicken sandwich at this specific location, as it is the best when compared with their two other locations. Owner and staff are very friendly, service is quick, every food we have had is delicious, and the place is nostalgic. There are local bands that play music there on certain dates.“
