“Great food but the location of and line for the bathroom gives me anxiety, mainly for the staff. It was a charming place in a charming area in general. There was an incredibly loud table next to us that I would’ve loved to be told to quiet down but I know that’s not necessarily something a restaurant can do.I really enjoyed the bread (despite not liking olives) and butter, pasta, and branzino. The chicken had a good crispy chicken but was a bit dry in the center as chicken breast tends to be. Didn’t love the carrots because they were pickled but that’s personal preference. The olive oil cake was delicious and I liked the crisp edges. Would’ve liked more strawberries than rhubarb.“

“We were thoroughly impressed will Chila-Killer Cafe! Around noon on Saturday we walked in to a packed house, nevertheless we were greeted promptly and seated quickly. The service was quick, polite, and friendly. Food was absolutely phenomenal and very generous portions. We had the fresh squeezed orange juice, Carne Asada Chilaquiles with borracha salsa (flavor was unbelievable!) and the Chorizo con Papas (equally delicious). We will absolutely be returning.“

“I love this spot, each time I go it is consistently delicious. It is evident that a lot of intention and care goes into the menu, quality, and service. A+ in my book, and I rarely am down to pay $15+ for a sando. “The lavender honeycomb was the best ice cream flavor I've had in a long time. The honeycomb gave the ice cream a surprisingly chewy texture. My friend's spring flowers ice cream had a very pleasant zesty flavor. Butterscotch was okay. It wasn't as flavorful in comparison to the others.“

“We had a hugely successful catering event for 25 people with Zoftig. Their catering staff was organized, kind and communicative. I opted to pick up the food which was ready on time, and was perfectly fresh. The sandwiches were packed with toppings and the party platters were well constructed. Huge hit!“

Brother had the bouillabaisse, which he thought tasted great, but wasn't very filling. The shrimp, clams, scallops, salmon, and calamari were very delicious, but he wanted more of each. He said he got 2 shrimp, 3 clams and a little bit of everything else. Soaked up the soup with bread, but was still not filling.Sister had the chicken Marsala and Mom had the chicken piccata. I thought the chicken was a little dry, but the roasted potatoes and brussel sprouts were good. Mom said the chicken was half dry and half good.The violinist was very good. Played a couple of covers we recognized. I recognized Zombie by the Cranberries, but I don't know a lot of song names. Very good. Violinist walked around and gave everyone in the restaurant a front row seat to the music.Waitstaff is amazing and checked in on us multiple times. Refilled water without prompting which was nice. Refilled bread multiple times which was great. The olive oil and black vinegar went very well with the bread. I thought it was garlic bread until I saw the garlic bread on the menu. Very surprised. The table bread is amazing and surprised it's free. I would come just to have a drink and eat bread ??Bathroom is clean, but the soap dispenser is a bit hard to press for a kid. “Update 1 Feb2024 Came in for a date night. Jeff helped with any questions that we had and checked in here and there despite how busy things were. Water refills were good tho infrequent. I'm surprised I haven't come back for so long. The pizza was a mainstay for the place which I told my partner about but we would venture to other places of habit during those occasions. We had gotten a 12 inch omni and a couple of beers to round things. The omni was solid, crust had good bite to it. I liked that they had a hazy on the menu as well which finished things off nicely. Will definitely be back sometime for more pizza now that we've broached the place for a night out.“

They come bite sized, and you can get four for $29. The leek fritters and steak fries were a great appetizer and especially delicious during happy hour. The best traditional banh mi can be found in the South Bay, but this place is just as good, if not better. The bun is nicely toasted, crisp but not hard.
