Did you know there are good chicken spots inside gas stations....me either. I can only vouch for the Penryn one but they are all over including in Sacramento. The name of them are Krispy Krunchy Chicken- the chicken is good the biscuit is even better! Must go into the gas station to get this delicious chicken.

I feel like this is some of the best chicken commercially available, 5. Never had any issues with the chicken. Today was my first time ordering the family meal and receiving the fries. I wasn't allowed to substitute the fries out. I was surprised at the number of fries that came with the family meal but what I was surprised about more is how stale the fries were. They tasted as though they'd been cooked days prior and left out and then reheated. Extremely poor quality. I can only assume this was because of preparation as these are not manufactured in house. Extremely disappointed with the quality especially given the quality of the chicken. I would not recommend the fries at all. I'd rather have not gotten them

Heading up to Tahoe we stopped at the 76 gas station and saw they had a Kristy Krunchy Chicken inside. I've heard good things about their chicken, but had some reservation about "gas station food" . We decided to give it a shot and order 6 chicken strips. It was surprisingly decent. They were good sized strips and seasoned well enough I was eating them without any bbq sauce. I will say a few pieces were a little rubbery and the coating wasn't really crispy or crunchy unfortunately. In all honesty, this is more of a 3.5 rating but I'm giving them the benefit of the doubt and rounded up.

Chicken from a gas station? Can't be good, right? Wrong, this stuff is scrumptious! We always get the 12 piece tenders, fries and biscuits for our family of four and we always have left overs. These tenders, compared to chick fil a, canes, etc are massive. You can't go wrong if you like chicken!

Chicken and biscuits were hot and delicious! My order wasn't accurate but I didn't much care as it was very good. My grandson that's 7 also had cole slaw but he didn't care for it. He loved the biscuits! Staff very helpful and friendly!

If you want KKC prepared and cooked the right way, this spot inside the 76 gas station is one of the best in greater Sacramento area. I must admit it tasted like the Filipino favorite Jollibee friend chicken. It is slightly cheaper than KFC. They really try hard for you to tip. There is a tip jar and they ask again on the console payment. Sorry, it is a Fast Food, I ain't tipping for this crap. Still 5 stars though for the quality of their chicken compared to other locations, a lot of them in Sacramento area.

Find these places in gas stations near you. Their chicken is awesome! It's a decently cheap way to eat with good chicken. Even a child's chicken strip meal is good for a quick lunch.
