Great place to kick back and watch a live band on a Sunday. We saw the Sunset River band and had a blast. The drinks are reasonably priced and the place is alway fun. The bartenders are great and heard the food is not bad. Fun place to hang with friends.

If I wasn't hungry, I would have left. Burgers were overcooked, not prepared to our request, and bun was questionable on freshness. Ask for no onions , got'em anyways. Under new ownership. After going there for more than 15 years, it's disappointing. Although things were cleaned up from years passed. Staff wasn't concerned with customers' requests. It's just sad after all the years.
An example of a true icon watering hole, i've been here on several occasions however, the last three have been very less than desirable because of a single bartender "ASHLEY " the bands great the beer is cold, and the food is wonderful. Her attitude, however, sucks at an incredible level. Last time we were there. We simply trying to get some service when she finally came to where she says I'm having problems at home what do you need? Obviously we sat there needing a drink. Her problems at home should not be brought to the workplace after getting our drinks she slams the money down on the counter, with a vivid stare upon observing her later during our visit every third word was FURF this this is not the kind of place I want to bring my wife to have a good time perhaps something and be done about this needless to say I left her a penny tip. Come on new management you know what you're doing you've always done a great job at your other locations it's time for you to take out the trash.

The new guys who took over the kitchen are making some good food. The smoked tri-tips dip is the only thing I've gotten from the new menu, and it was hella good.

You would never know this place existed in Penryn, California given it's proximity from the center of town. If you are searching for a spot in Placer County to have an enjoyable time country line dancing the Valencia Club is the spot. Everyone from the person to the door to the live musicians are kind. Everyone is encouraged to have an enjoyable time either on the dance floor, at a table, and/or at the bar.

It's been awhile since my last visit. I was suprised to see that it had been improved. Love the changes. LMC was playing that night. Great band! Good music & some great dancing. Always a great time!
