The molcajete is the thing to get although I haven't had a bad thing yet. I'm not big on Mexican style sushi but it's not bad here. I like getting the bottled waters such as agua de piña. This is something they started doing in Mexico and now here too it's more convenient to bottle up the waters and through a label on them. Service is usually they don't take long if it is not during peak hours. I have waited an hour for my food on a Saturday afternoon. Occasionally no one answers...read full review
Our usual ceviche spot was closed and we spotted the El Viejon food truck and tried a tostada--it was GOOD. Today we stopped by the restaurant, and we're very impressed. The salsa and chips , my horchata , our roll and ceviche , the decor , and our server .

Loved the food enjoyed the new restaurant even though it's been opened for almost a year, but first time visiting the restaurant. I usually order to go through their food truck but decided to dine in, and I was not disappointed. The service was excellent! Price was reasonable, and portions were great. Definitely will be coming back soon! I went on a Sunday around lunchtime and was not too busy. The restaurant had excellent lighting, good seating, and an excellent atmosphere.
