“The best place for a foodie !! Mom and I had a blast!! She ate the Governor Tacos I had the Black Tide. I ordered the Hibiscus taco and the Mushroom taco from the vegan section. Mom LOVED the tacos. The flavors vibed delectably. The Black Tide was fresh, firey, the mango and apple with the shrimp was diced to perfection. The vegan tacos were amazingly delicious. The Hibiscus was dipped in the dark sauce. WOW!!! The blue tortilla was a bonus. It was so romantically blended. There is something about Hibiscus ?. The mushroom taco blended perfectly with the dark sauce. The limonade was just right. What a spectacular lunch. See you next time.”

“The place was super busy and you can easily tell that the place was WAY understaffed to accommodate the business. With that said, the entire staff was amazing and were super friendly while taking care of everyone who was ready to feast along with the crowd who was waiting to sit. They even had a moment to answer stupid questions from me being from out of town wanting a seafood fix.

Owners: please praise these folks and add some bonuses to their paycheck! They aren't getting paid what they are worth and I’d love to pay their expenses to come work for me in another state to continue their magic. Also, please add a non-butter based sauce in an effort to accommodate diet restrictions and better flavor profiles like competitors.”

“Last week we took my mother for her 70th birthday to Los Amores de Julia. We were visiting from Seattle, and went in just based on pictures and reviews. I can’t tell how amazing our visit was: from the beautiful atmosphere when we walked in; to friendly staff; to delicious cocktails and dinner; to a surprise special birthday song with a sombrero, a serape, a light show, and a flan being kissed with the torch right in front of us to give it a lovely crunch as a crème brûlée has. The staff was very accommodating to our needs and served the most delicious Mexican food I’ve had. Thank you, Los Amores de Mexico, for a perfect evening of celebration for our family.”

“This is the best place in LA for teriyaki. I got the chicken and beef plate. The sauce is sweet and delicious, the chicken is perfectly grilled with a nice charbroiled flavor, and the beef is tender. Make sure you add the fresh avocados which pair perfectly with the meat and rice. I enjoyed adding the complimentary hot yellow chilies as well.

This is my third visit here and tonight the beef seemed a little bit fattier than usual like it wasn't trimmed enough, but other than that, everything was perfect. I will be back.”

“We came here today to celebrate Mexican Mother’s Day. We’ve been living down the street for about 6 years but have never been here until now. I always felt like this location had so much potential and it seems someone saw it too because they are getting a much needed tlc. We had the chilaquiles, chicharon con salsa, and juevos rancheros and the kids French toast. All were 10 out of 10. The music was a bit loud for my daughter at first but she got used to it after the first song. Food all tasted home made to the table salsa and chips. We will be back soon!”

“Love this place for amazing bionico! The crema is delicious, not too sweet and very savory. It can get busy from time to time but that is rare. It can also be a little noisy, but the place is bare bones. They make almost everything in front of their customers.

There is usually parking and the spaces are right in front.

This is my go to place for bionico and turmeric/ginger/lime shots. I will always return when I have my craving!”

“This place is a great spot for delicious Mexican food and catching a game. Three big flat-screen TVs hang from the ceiling, showcasing various sports, and we were there to watch part of the Dodgers vs. Mets game. They offer a 2-for-1 deal on fish tacos on Tuesdays and other tacos on Thursdays.

I tried the seafood burrito, which is loaded with octopus, shrimp, scallops, fish, rice, beans, and a white sauce that tastes like diluted sour cream. I was blown away with the first bite—there’s plenty of seafood in every mouthful. The lemon, slightly pickled purple onions, and seasoned jalapeños complemented the burrito perfectly.

The restaurant isn’t very large, but it has a cozy ambiance. The parking lot outside is small due to the plaza's size at the corner of the street. I’ll definitely be back on Tuesday or Thursday for the taco deal!”

doesn’t disappoint. Every once and a while I like to get boba with my friends or
usually by myself after a walk around the town center so I usually go to It’s Boba Time
because they have one of my favorite drinks there the galaxy iced tea. The galaxy
iced tea is a really colorful iced tea made with butterfly pea tea, strawberry
lemonade, and small star-shaped mango jelly which helps give off the galaxy vibes.
They also have the sunset iced tea which looks similar to the galaxy iced tea but has
a different yet tasty flavor. The sunset iced tea contains butterfly pea tea, hibiscus
tea, and passion fruit juice. These two drinks are just a few of all the delicious and
beautiful drinks that It’s Boba Time has. I guarantee it’s definitely worth checking out.”
