I have celiac and dearly miss all baked goods. My best friend bought me a plethora of goodies from Flourless. They were all amazing!!!! If I didn't know they were GF I would've been worried they were after a bite. That's how good they are. You can't tell that they are gf. They don't look it and they don't taste it. I had the pizza dough, scones, cake, tart, meringue thingy, mousse thingy, puffs, eclairs. He has savory and sweet options. But my absolute favorite was the bear claw!!! When was the last time a celiac had a fresh fluffy bear claw??? Even some gluten eaters remarked at how great they were and that they couldn't tell it was gf. Please make a yeast raised glazed donut. I don't know if you already do but I will make a trip from San Diego to buy a dozen. Thank you!!!! PS - do you ship that pizza dough because that was amazing?!!

Truly a hidden gem in Placerville! The staff greeted us with kindness. I ordered an apple raspberry oat tart. It was delicious—light, not too sweet, and clearly baked with fresh and high-quality ingredients. While we were waiting for my friend's mini quiche, the owner Richard let us try some canelés—equally delicious. I don't visit Placerville very often, but I will definitely be back! Thank you!

This was the best all around experience I’ve ever had. The customer service is top notch, the owner took time away from his hard work and came to chat, simply to get to know us and laugh with us. That goes such a long way and it’s been a long time since we have experienced a business that feels so comfortable and friendly. Every person in that bakery is nothing but kind. Now about the food. To put it simply it’s the best baked goods and pastries you will EVER try. Truly. Gluten free or not it’s the best. You seriously can not tell it’s gluten free. There are not words good enough to describe the flavor it’s out of this world. The bread is the best texture and flavor ever. The pastries are decadent, flavorful, and not heavy. The scone oh my gosh the scone was perfect. The quiche was extraordinary— I can’t even pick a favorite. The quality of these items are top notch. All of this for a price that is reasonable and affordable. My husband who usually hates gluten free items asked for more and was shocked by how good it was. It’s great when things align and great people have such great talents that then choose to share it with others!

Entire place is 100% gluten-free and we met the owner, Richard who’s been a pastry chef for 24 years. Really nice and accommodating. You’ll be back for sure! My wife and I have come to the bakery, twice, after looking online to see if they are open. When we arrived, both times, they have been closed. It surely would have been nice for the website to have indicated that they would be closed. We wouldn't have driven the 40 minutes it took to get there.
We are up here visiting my partner's parents for the holidays, and they let us know about this place that might be good for my newfound gluten insensitivity. One of the biggest things I miss from having to give up gluten is having a really good sandwich. Well -- Flourless just made me a very happy man. Their croque monsieur not only had an incredible flavor (that mustard was bomb), but the bread it was on was perfectly crispy and chewy in all the right ways. We also picked up some desserts for later in our trip, and I can't wait to dig into them for the holidays. THANK YOU!!!

I went for the grand opening. The cinnamon roll and French baguette were my favorite of the absurd number of things I tried.The downside is that most of the items are refrigerated and they are not set up to dine in, so you are taking things home and warming some things up.I'm really looking forward to coming back and trying everything again, just to be sure.Dietary restrictions: Dedicated gluten free bakery! Nuts and eggs were also labeled.
