Nicely remodeled inside Accommodating as I was short on time and they allowed me to order 1/2 size appetizer Food was very good! I ordered chicken chow mein and orange chicken and chicken was so juicy and tasty. (Thighs, but good for me) Priced quite reasonably

Today's meal was really a disappointment. Poor service. Soggy chow mein, tasteless vegetable delux, sub-par walnut shrimp, mediocre pot stickers and crab/ cheese turnovers... the hot/sour soup was OK. No dessert offering which was a bummer for our birthday celebration. Not worth the $102 bill at all.

I had high quality American Chinese food and will definitely be back to try more. Everything I ordered was good, which is honestly a nice surprise. The Mongolian beef had large pieces of tender meat. The sweet and sour pork was good, without excess breading. The vegetable Chowmain had lots of veggies just like the picture in another review. Lastly, you can taste the ginger in the pot stickers and its nice they come with a dipping sauce.

The Golden Dragon restaurant is my go to you for Chinese food in Placerville. For this visit, I decided to get my meal to go. I only waited 15 minutes for quite a few different items. When I got home, the food was piping hot, the eggrolls were crispy, and everything was delicious! I'm sure there are some other very good Chinese food restaurants in Placerville however I have to keep coming back to Golden Dragon. If you have never tried it, I would like to recommend the Daily Chicken, it is amazing!
Noodles are weird. Chicken in chow mein tasted like fish. General tso's Chicken was soggy. Smallest portions in town. Will not be back! Save yourself the trouble and go to wonderful Chinese!

You can ask for asparagus chicken for lunch special or other combinations. The food is full of flavor. The asparagus has a black bean sauce. Incredible. Best Chinese we have had anywhere.
