As a yelper was looking forward to experiencing this place and all it had to offer however I drove to the address here provided and to my surprise it was completely deserted even though it was a Friday night around 6 pm no specifications as to why it was closed or sign of any food market ever been there so for that the one star it would be extremely helpful if event coordinators will take the time to update the schedule of the events or regularly offer more information to attract more crowd for the first time was really upset about something on this trip.

The 626 night market was such a fun experience! If you go, I would recommend doing what my friends and I did, and each of you getting different foods and then sharing, so you can try the widest variety of options. The food is a little on the expensive side but it was all delicious. The highlight of the night for me was the Carne Asada Nachos from the taco truck they had, because those might genuinely be some of the best nachos I've had, they were DELICIOUS! 626 is a great event to bring family and friends to for a fun time.

You do not come here for the cheap eats. Considering the price range (nothing under $10) and the ambiance, it's not much of a foodie experience. It really is more a unique day to spend with family and friends. As others mentioned the seating without shade did not encourage lingering. The local art vendors are probably the best part. Otherwise, considering we are in the Bay Area, you can get better food experience at local restaurants.

It was good to go with the family, which I did not like that they did not put vegan food or more vegetarian options or fruit stalls or salads

I wanted the long potato on a stick, a bunch of dumplings, bao, and paella. And I got them. It was marvelous!

food is great but it's so expensive. That's why the entrance is only $5 because everything else is between $15 to $20.

I've seen this market all over my Instagram as the top things to do in the bay area, and it's certainly worth a one night trip. While they do charge an entry fee, it's quite affordable for $5 a night, or $9 for the weekend. Be warned though that much of the food is very, very expensive in the market area! There is parking right by the venue, but that also costs money ($17). We ended up parking across the street at a lot that wasn't super full. When you first enter the market, there's lot of trinket stores with merch, stickers, and art. A lot of the designs were super cute and punny! I didn't buy anything due to the price, but I loved the vibes and really enjoyed the items - major props to the artists! The food is in a second, connected section, with vendors all around the sides and some carnival games and seating in the middle. As mentioned above, food was expensive but scrumptious, so it was worth having the experience once! We didn't try the carnival games.Overall, I enjoyed coming here with friends since we shared a variety of foods and just got the walk around and talk! But its not something I would do again since it's just very pricey for me.

Wow, the place was packed with food trucks! We drove for about 50 minutes to get there, and I've never seen so many food trucks in one spot before. Lots of people were there to enjoy the weekend. It's kind of like a festival, but I must say, the food quality could have been much better. Honestly, everything was quite expensive for the portion size and taste. A large soda cost 40 dollars, and a corn ice cream was 24 dollars! To make matters worse, they often charged extra for credit card payments. We'd be thrilled to return if they could just improve the food quality and the service.

I attended with friends on Sunday around 2:00pm. It wasn't that crowded then and there were barely any lines for food. It was super hot and there was minimal shade there (except nearby trees), which sucked. They REALLY needed to put awnings to provide shade over the benches in the middle area. Parking was $15, which sucked, also. The food was... meh. Not great. The takoyaki had a weird bacon flavor, the tamagoyaki was very small for the price (but tasty), and the potato skewer we had tasted just like Pringles sour cream and onion chips (but for $13). The squid skewer was good according to my boyfriend and his friend. Anyway, as everyone else said, the food is very overpriced and the portions are small. The quality is also not great for most food items. Everything is fried or covered in sauces. My boyfriend got a drink bottle shaped like a teddy bear for $40. It was from one of the drink booths. He got strawberry milk, which he said was very good. Apparently you only get one refill with the bottle, so it's not unlimited, which sucked since it was so expensive. I got another bear bottle at the takoyaki place, which was priced more reasonable at $12 and included a tasty mango fruit drink. The bear bottle at the tamagoyaki place was not worth it. I had the passionfruit, which was a soda drink with lychee, and it was not very good. It seemed very watered down.I wish we could have tried more food, but it was very expensive and, honestly, a lot of it wasn't very appealing to me and was just food you could find elsewhere in the bay area for cheaper and better quality. It was also just too hot and going during the night sucks because the crowds and lines and substantially bigger (from what I've heard). It would be nice if they held this during the cooler months.I honestly enjoyed the artist vendors the most. I got several cute stickers and keychains there and the vendors were super nice. That was my favorite part and probably the only reason I'd go back.Honestly, though, this was probably a one and done event for me. It's fun to go once just to check it out and get the experience.

Attend the event on Saturday , 7/29/23 at 6ish pm. Parking is $15 (card only). It was already packed and had to park close to the entrance/exit gate but wasn't that bad.Had to go through the security check point (which is good) and when entered you would see cops (made it feel safe). As you walked in, there was booth of different varieties of things (shirts,Sticker decals, jewelry.etc...Then there's the many varieties of food booth from different culture. Was really amazing! The price are majority over $20! Walked around and got some food. What I got:* giant squid* bbq chicken skewers* asada fries*sriracha chicken tater tots *passion fruit spiked juice*watermelon spiked juice And many more to name.Food was good with a huge portion. There was also other things from jewelry, Stussy, stickers, and many other things that I find very unique and interesting. There's a live music for entertainment. It's a good experience to hang out with family and friends. Also I would bring a picnic blanket because there's a huge grass area that you can sit, eat, and enjoy the music. My family enjoyed it!!

Decent variety of the usual carnival atmosphere over priced food, but it gives us something to do and a place to go on the weekends. At least my son and I got to try some new things, but were they worth the price? Hell no!!From one vendor, we both ordered and he got the BBQ Beef on a Stick with a side of rice, and I got the Pancit with Lechon. His serving size was three small beef on a stick pieces and a 1/2 to 3/4 scoop of rice.Mine was about the same amount of rice, half a package of Pancit and then three pieces of Lechon with skin/meat/fat and then two more pieces with just hard and chewy meat. For this, two drinks and the other various charges, it came to $76 for barely a meal.

If you like to a pay $5 entry fee per person and $15 to park so you can stand in line to enter an over crowed place to buy food from portable carnival food booths and food trucks in the direct sun on a hot day this is the place for you. I'm not kidding , they didn't have any shade over the tables to eat your food. We ended up leaving and eating in downtown Pleasanton in the shade.

Night walk, snacking/eating and games on the fairground. This is fun to do. I enjoyed it.Lots of food options: Filipino, Hawaiian, sushi, Maine lobsters, etc

I didn't like it very much, a lot of oriental food, many stalls with oriental things, I didn't find anything to stay longer than a couple of hours. I wouldn't go back.

It was fun to go to an outdoor night market. Some food are very good (like the sushi hand roll), some are average (BBQ chicken and muchi) and some are over priced and not good at all - the Filipino sissic was good (expensive though with a free plate), but the fried pork with noodles at the same place was really really bad. Pork was tough with no taste and noodles was all broken again with not much flavor. Both at this Filipino place are way over priced. In the shipping areas, most of the places sell Asian style cute stuff animals, would be nice to have more varieties.
