Nice place with friendly service. The broth in my egg noodle soup was salty and not too flavorful. Next time I will try the pho dishes.Need to notify customers of any extra charges ahead, i.e. credit card and other mysterious charges. This is happening at a few Vietnamese restaurants.

The taste is very refreshing, the portion is large, and the beef bones are very tender after being stewed for 12 hours.

Pho Saigon is in a spacious, but quiet plaza with plenty of parking. My mom loves pho and we were just looking for a good pho restaurant after shopping nearby. They are located kind of hidden in a corner, and it looks a bit more modern than your typical pho spot. When we first walked in, there was no one dining in, which should had been our first warning. Not much service, and the employees did not look that friendly or welcoming. My mom and I ordered a large Dac Biet Bo Vien (special combo pho) to share and we tried to order their banh mi combo, but they were out of it, so we opted for an order of Goi Cuon (fresh spring rolls). We felt like we should had ordered our own pho, instead of sharing and getting the appetizer. The portion of the pho was very small compared to other locations, and it was hard to share because there was barely any meat in it with a lot of noodles instead to fill up the bowl to look more full (for about $16, that is definitely not worth it). The shrimp rolls were kind of small for the price and it did not taste that fresh - it had a fishy shrimp taste and made us feel a bit sick.

Stopped by here for lunch before going back home from a wedding on the previous night. Very good Beef Ball pho that hit the spot for me. The broth was hot and tasty. Beef balls were delicious. But the hot sauce on the table was Chin-Su brand, instead of the rooster brand sriracha, and I didn't like this one as much. Overall, I still had a good meal and I would come back.

Location/Atmosphere- 4/5 located in a big plaza, plenty of parking even during peak hours. Inside the restaurant is very clean and well maintained, hoison sauce and sriracha sauce fully stocked at every table, small sauce dishes, chopsticks, spoons, napkins.Service- 5/5 extremely quick service, we put in orders for pho and within 2 mins out came 2 huge steaming bowls. Need to request water refills, but very quick.Food- 5/5 personally I think the pho here is delicious. It is on the lighter side, less salty than other places I've had, yet the broth still has a rich meaty flavor to it. I have ordered to-go many times and dined in twice and the flavor/quality has been very consistent. Recommend stopping by for pho if you are in the tri valley area.

As a Vietnamese who makes homemade Pho regularly, I would say this is BEST PHO place in Tri Valley. I tried it yesterday for the first time. Highly recommend. You will not regret. :)

We were looking for a Pho in Pleasanton and found this on Yelp. There's a lot of parking for a Sunday and we didn't have a hard time looking for this place. The place looks newly renovated or painted. The tables look new and the place was very clean. There are a lot of items on their menu and you can have a choice of their Pho or Vermicelli plate. They also serve sandwiches and appetizers. Service was very quick and you can have your order within a few minutes. I had their Vietnamese beef noodle. It comes in either large or medium size. The taste is like every Pho place that I went to. There's nothing spectacular or special about the bowl. I want to come here again and try the other items on their menu and can positively give a good review.

Service wasn't great - the server was quick to move onto the next person if you weren't ready to order and did not check in on us at all.The BBH was lacking flavor to my palate. When I requested I requested half rice and half egg noodles for my soup, they said they could not do that... odd. The wonton filling wasn't bad but the skin was thicker than it should be and almost dry or not soft and cooked through. The amount of meat in my Mi was good and the shrimp were medium sized. My husband also requested only a couple meats that didn't come that way on the menu in his pho and they said they cannot do that, they need to put in a specific number from the menu. In the end they said they could specify to not have a meat item from the menu option choice. Not sure why this was so difficult. The server came back with the check and didn't ask how things were, just handed the check to someone and stood there with the card payment machine.

Stopped by for a quick dinner on Monday night around 8 and there were plenty of tables and plenty of parking. We were seated immediately and ordered shortly afterwards. We ordered bun Bo hue and combo rib pho. Food came out pretty quickly as well. The flavors of the both were pretty good, especially considering it's Pleasanton. However, the portions were really small. It's about the same price as Oakland, if not more expensive and maybe half the size. The bun bo hue had pork cake, tendon, brisket, but no pork blood or pork slices/pieces. Not fully authentic, but decent enough. The combo rib pho was a little salty, otherwise the broth was pretty good as well. The beef rib was very small (lengthwise), but the meat was tender. Good thing we weren't too hungry! Flavors were there, but unfortunately for the price, it's very expensive since the portion is so small. In a pinch, if you're hungry and want some pho late in the evening, this may be a good option, but definitely not somewhere to go to all the time.
