“The crew here is by far the best baristas my wife and I have ever come across. Andrew, Jared, Erika, Cris, and James always refer to us by our first names and even know our orders before we even walk up to the counter. They're always a huge pleasure to talk to as well. They are just one of many reasons we will continue to be regulars here. Also THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR BRINGING BACK DARK CHOCOLATE!!! It was a long couple of months while it was gone lol.“

“I wanted to try a new coffee shop and came upon Jesse's Grind Coffee Bar and the reviews were so positive I decided to give it a try. I ordered the dirty horchata latte with whole milk and it was really good! The staff were really friendly as well and were so fast at making drinks as it was pretty busy. I definitely want to come back and try a coffee flight as I think that's such a cool idea and I love coffee. The shop is small but has a cute sitting area which I will definitely enjoy when I revisit to try more flavors.“

“What a neighborhood gem! The owner is sweet it made it even better. She explained the Yerba mate process and some recommendations. Loved the mango and maracuya (passion fruit combo). classic green tea has long been touted as the best detox beverage and matcha has been gaining traction in recent years among top trending drinks, yerba mate deserves aThe Yerba mate has an even higher polyphenol content than regular green tea, and the list of benefits don't end there including morning energy, reducing inflammation, helps with detox, protects your heart. Drink was refreshing and tasted delicious.Empanadas are so tasty get the arabe or the ham and cheese if you are not adventurous. Served hot and was so good. The ambience was very chill and relaxing. They have a few tables and even a couch area for a more relaxed setting. Definitely adding this to the rotation.“

“First time here and I will be back. A small gem tucked away in a small plaza off Soledad next to Vallarta. The place is small, quiet place to eat. The food is really good! I truly love crepes (I make my own when I have the time) and they have enough great selection to choose from. I ordered the breakfast crunch and I love the crunchiness of the granola, the banana is fresh and just the perfect amount of Nutella on top! The service is fast!!! The owners husband and wife are so nice! I ended up buying 2 flavor gelato ( love their gelato, pistachio is my fave) and Jon gave me an extra flavor to try!! These place is such a delight!! “The absolute best coffee and doughnuts in the valley! The doughnuts are gluten free and more cakey than the classic fried doughnut- but amaaazing! Their ube and soy sauce are the best flavors in my opinion. Their sea salt cream iced coffee is delicious- strong, perfectly sweet, and creamy! The owners are also the sweetest people and put so much love and care into their products! This place is 11/10“

“I love G&G, know most of the staff by name, have gotten to know some other regulars. Everyone is incredibly nice, usually open for games, even with strangers, and I've met quite a few people through the café. I get tons of work done there, albeit with welcome stops for board games. The place is just wonderful, a really friendly environment, I often stay there from opening to closing.Food is fairly cheap, the café doesn't partake in toxic American tipping culture, and the board games are competitively priced with online retailers.Parking: There's a tiny lot out back, mostly, people park down a nearby residential road, short walk (1-2 mins)“

“I have been coming here for years before the new owners took over. Under new ownership, the place is even better. Service is always friendly, and food is served up fast!I always get a solid breakfast here, and finally, someone who knows how to cook crisp hash browns! Just be sure to bring cash as they don't take cards, but they do have an ATM on-site in case you forget.“

“I've been coming here to Bodevi many times this past year. I was so stoked when I found out they serve wine AND espresso. I initially was drawn to their WINE FLIGHTS and VEGAN CHARCUTERIE. But lately maybe because of the cold weather I've been craving their LOX & CREAM CHEESE TOAST and BLUEBERRY GINGER LATTE. They pay really great attention to detail because my lox toast is perfectly spread all the way to the edges. The salmon perfectly scrunched for texture (not just laid out flat) and topped with sliced red onions. Then drizzled with oil I think and perfectly garnished with dill and capers...yumm!! Love the orange slices as well! The blueberry ginger latte is so unique and pretty! It has a richness to it like mocha but perfectly balanced. I get mine with oat milk. And I love seeing actual blueberries on it to give it a nice finishing touch. Get this before they switch out their seasonal menu! Once the weather warms up I may go back to trying their wine flights again. I recommend THE DAVID BOWIE so you can have the assortment of white, rose, and red if you're trying their wines for the first time. Other items I definitely recommend are the BURRATA PISTACHIO SANDWICH (I get mine minus the prosciutto to make it vegetarian) , the VEGAN DELI SANDWICH, and the DEVILED EGGS. You can't go wrong with those. They're delicious! They even have an assortment of board games, chess, and checkers that you can play in the private room in the back. So chic and charming for big parties! Service is wonderful! My lattes always come out perfect here made by Caleb and Melissa! And like I said they pay attention to detail. There's also a self serve water station by the bar. Parking is FREE in the back parking lot. Front parking you have to pay for with coins not credit cards. Such an absolute GEM in San Fernando!“

“Bomb ? af.... Most boba nowadays isn't with the price. You don't get many bubbles & the cups are short. Teaspoon is just the opposite! HUGE CUPS with perfectly squishy boba in it! I got theist traditional black tea boba with a shot of nitro cold brew. It's truly one of the best boba drinks I've ever had in life, and that's saying a whole lot! Very clean atmosphere as well with beautiful decor & nice staff. I highly recommend!“

“Love love love! I'm so happy I found this local coffee shop. It is in between a corner shopping center and a neighborhood. I went ahead and called prior and the employees on the phone are always so friendly. My favorite are the Chilaquiles and the bouquet burrito. Parking is OK. Luckily, you can park around the neighborhood and it's just a short walk unless you get lucky by pulling up in front of the business. There's nice outside patio seating and comfy space inside as well. This is my new favorite spot at least once a week!“

“The Napoleon cake is unbelievably good. A dozen or so thin layers of flaky "cake" sandwiching sweet but not over powering butter cream filling. About 5$ for a small looking piece but it's so satisfying. You could share, but I don't think you should.“

“First time trying this place out. A busy coffee shop with both indoor and outdoor seating. Lots of people studying and working most likely while enjoying their drinks. I got the cold brew but didn't like it much, it was a bit too acidic for my taste. Will try other things next time I'm here. But I gotta mention it was the cheapest cold brew I ever bought, $4 for a 16oz ... they also sell baked goods such as scones and biscotti etc.... Service was friendly and fast. The ambiance is ok.“

“I only went to this place because it was near where I live and it seemed really empty, but they had a large selection of drink options with milk tea flavors that i had never seen in other boba places like chocolate, hazelnut, or blueberry (i had forgot to take a picture before i drank it but the blueberry milk tea is the picture ?). The interior was nice, it was filled with anime and comic book Funko pops/ figurines, Sanrio plushies, and many brand name T shirts all for purchase. There was also a FREE functioning pac-man machine! Overall a pretty nice and underrated place that i could see being really popular“

“I hadn't visited Yonder in a minute but saw them promoting their new cereal latte on Instagram and knew I had to try it! This drink is made with Chobani cereal oat milk and topped with crushed cinnamon toast crunch which makes the perfect pairing. I've already come back two more times to order it again! I'm hoping Chobani doesn't discontinue the cereal oat milk that way this drink can become a permanent menu item. Fingers crossed! Besides their great seasonal drinks, Yonder is a beloved Northridge cafe for their abundance of seating, outlets, free wifi and attentive staff. For anyone who hasn't visited before, you'll be delighted by their private outdoor patio, which is both dog and student friendly. I myself have sat in on a few of my Zoom classes from Yonder's patio because their oasis is that relaxing and their wifi is that reliable. Although I'm not on a first name basis with any of the baristas, it's still always nice to see a familiar face when I walk in, and it's clear that Yonder has created their own community in the area by their abundance of after-hours events-- they're known for hosting a night market or two! The only thing to note about Yonder is that, while they do have a bathroom, you have to walk outside along the back end of the other businesses to reach it. It's a bit of a trek (and maybe confusing if you've never been there before), but everything else that Yonder offers makes it worth it.“

“Ding Tea's success lies on their ability to consistently deliver tasty boba treats across space and time. It's my first time at this location in Van Nuys, and the Hakkaido oolong milk tea was scrumptious as the ones I had at all the other branches. Staff was young but friendly, but that's not unusual at a boba place. We got our drinks fairly quickly. Conveniently located right next to a 99 Ranch Market and a pho restaurant, this location enjoys plenty of foot traffic. The parking lot is large, but it's still a struggle to find a spot due to the busy Asian market.“

“I absolutely love this neighborhood coffee shop.. I have become quite a coffee nut in the past 8 years and tortoni’s espresso doesn’t compare to other coffee shops. “This place has quickly become one of my favorite spots in town with its unique and upscale Mexican decor. And let's talk about the food - the churros are so good that my parents, who grew up in Mexico, say they're just like the ones they used to have back home. And as if that wasn't enough, this place also serves the best coffee in the area (in my humble opinion) and my daughter can't get enough of their fresh squeezed juices. “The stars of the shop were the two gentlemen working the bar. They were so so kind, they greeted everyone who walked through with a huge smile on their faces and were kind and helpful if we asked questions. I came on a Sunday so I unfortunately couldn't see the little shop they're next to but, the coffee shop itself is still so cute with big windows & plenty of seating. We got some pastries. The savory chorizo-filled type pastry was so delicious! Their cold-brew is fantastic!! Drinks are not that sweet so if you're into sweet stuff, beware. My friend wished her latte was sweeter. I got a cold brew latte without sweetener and it was the best cold brew I've had in LA. The two gentlemen from earlier deserve a raise!!!“

“Welcome to the valley, Teaspoon! This cute little boba shop is hidden in the corner of the busy plaza next to USPS postal office and Amazon grocery. They have an interesting drinks selection outside of the typical flavors. I've tried many different flavors but my favorites are Roasted Oolong Tea (w/ house cream) , Genmiacha Green Tea (w/ house cream), Ladybug (passion fruit), and Guava Sunset. I usually get all the drinks less sweet (50%), but sometimes the sweetness consistency isn't there so 75% may be a safer option. Initially I also really enjoyed their boba but lately the texture has been off so I haven't been ordering it.. Highly recommend to download their phone app and order pick up. You can get points towards future orders and save on time. It does take awhile for them to make the orders. Overall, I really like Teaspoon and I'm here at least once a week!“
