“Welcome to the valley, Teaspoon! This cute little boba shop is hidden in the corner of the busy plaza next to USPS postal office and Amazon grocery. They have an interesting drinks selection outside of the typical flavors. I've tried many different flavors but my favorites are Roasted Oolong Tea (w/ house cream) , Genmiacha Green Tea (w/ house cream), Ladybug (passion fruit), and Guava Sunset. I usually get all the drinks less sweet (50%), but sometimes the sweetness consistency isn't there so 75% may be a safer option. Initially I also really enjoyed their boba but lately the texture has been off so I haven't been ordering it.. Highly recommend to download their phone app and order pick up. You can get points towards future orders and save on time. It does take awhile for them to make the orders. Overall, I really like Teaspoon and I'm here at least once a week!“

“I wanted to try a new coffee shop and came upon Jesse's Grind Coffee Bar and the reviews were so positive I decided to give it a try. I ordered the dirty horchata latte with whole milk and it was really good! The staff were really friendly as well and were so fast at making drinks as it was pretty busy. I definitely want to come back and try a coffee flight as I think that's such a cool idea and I love coffee. The shop is small but has a cute sitting area which I will definitely enjoy when I revisit to try more flavors.“

“First time here and I will be back. A small gem tucked away in a small plaza off Soledad next to Vallarta. The place is small, quiet place to eat. The food is really good! I truly love crepes (I make my own when I have the time) and they have enough great selection to choose from. I ordered the breakfast crunch and I love the crunchiness of the granola, the banana is fresh and just the perfect amount of Nutella on top! The service is fast!!! The owners husband and wife are so nice! I ended up buying 2 flavor gelato ( love their gelato, pistachio is my fave) and Jon gave me an extra flavor to try!! These place is such a delight!! Everyone is incredibly nice, usually open for games, even with strangers, and I've met quite a few people through the café. I get tons of work done there, albeit with welcome stops for board games. The place is just wonderful, a really friendly environment, I often stay there from opening to closing.Food is fairly cheap, the café doesn't partake in toxic American tipping culture, and the board games are competitively priced with online retailers.Parking: There's a tiny lot out back, mostly, people park down a nearby residential road, short walk (1-2 mins)“

“I've been coming here to Bodevi many times this past year. I was so stoked when I found out they serve wine AND espresso. I initially was drawn to their WINE FLIGHTS and VEGAN CHARCUTERIE. But lately maybe because of the cold weather I've been craving their LOX & CREAM CHEESE TOAST and BLUEBERRY GINGER LATTE. They pay really great attention to detail because my lox toast is perfectly spread all the way to the edges. The salmon perfectly scrunched for texture (not just laid out flat) and topped with sliced red onions. Then drizzled with oil I think and perfectly garnished with dill and capers...yumm!! Love the orange slices as well! The blueberry ginger latte is so unique and pretty! It has a richness to it like mocha but perfectly balanced. I get mine with oat milk. And I love seeing actual blueberries on it to give it a nice finishing touch. Get this before they switch out their seasonal menu! Once the weather warms up I may go back to trying their wine flights again. I recommend THE DAVID BOWIE so you can have the assortment of white, rose, and red if you're trying their wines for the first time. Other items I definitely recommend are the BURRATA PISTACHIO SANDWICH (I get mine minus the prosciutto to make it vegetarian) , the VEGAN DELI SANDWICH, and the DEVILED EGGS. You can't go wrong with those. They're delicious! They even have an assortment of board games, chess, and checkers that you can play in the private room in the back. So chic and charming for big parties! Service is wonderful! My lattes always come out perfect here made by Caleb and Melissa! And like I said they pay attention to detail. There's also a self serve water station by the bar. Parking is FREE in the back parking lot. Front parking you have to pay for with coins not credit cards. Such an absolute GEM in San Fernando!“

“Bomb ? af.... Most boba nowadays isn't with the price. You don't get many bubbles & the cups are short. Teaspoon is just the opposite! HUGE CUPS with perfectly squishy boba in it! I got theist traditional black tea boba with a shot of nitro cold brew. It's truly one of the best boba drinks I've ever had in life, and that's saying a whole lot! “Love love love! I'm so happy I found this local coffee shop. It is in between a corner shopping center and a neighborhood. I went ahead and called prior and the employees on the phone are always so friendly. My favorite are the Chilaquiles and the bouquet burrito. Parking is OK. Luckily, you can park around the neighborhood and it's just a short walk unless you get lucky by pulling up in front of the business. There's nice outside patio seating and comfy space inside as well. This is my new favorite spot at least once a week!“

“I only went to this place because it was near where I live and it seemed really empty, but they had a large selection of drink options with milk tea flavors that i had never seen in other boba places like chocolate, hazelnut, or blueberry (i had forgot to take a picture before i drank it but the blueberry milk tea is the picture ?). The interior was nice, it was filled with anime and comic book Funko pops/ figurines, Sanrio plushies, and many brand name T shirts all for purchase. “I love Laidrey, not only for quality coffee and tea drinks but also friendly and knowledgeable staff and great food and pastries. They roast their own beans so I can pick up a bag for home brews. This drink is made with Chobani cereal oat milk and topped with crushed cinnamon toast crunch which makes the perfect pairing. I've already come back two more times to order it again! Besides their great seasonal drinks, Yonder is a beloved Northridge cafe for their abundance of seating, outlets, free wifi and attentive staff. For anyone who hasn't visited before, you'll be delighted by their private outdoor patio, which is both dog and student friendly. I myself have sat in on a few of my Zoom classes from Yonder's patio because their oasis is that relaxing and their wifi is that reliable. Although I'm not on a first name basis with any of the baristas, it's still always nice to see a familiar face when I walk in, and it's clear that Yonder has created their own community in the area by their abundance of after-hours events-- they're known for hosting a night market or two! The only thing to note about Yonder is that, while they do have a bathroom, you have to walk outside along the back end of the other businesses to reach it. It's a bit of a trek (and maybe confusing if you've never been there before), but everything else that Yonder offers makes it worth it.“

“Ding Tea's success lies on their ability to consistently deliver tasty boba treats across space and time. It's my first time at this location in Van Nuys, and the Hakkaido oolong milk tea was scrumptious as the ones I had at all the other branches. Staff was young but friendly, but that's not unusual at a boba place. We got our drinks fairly quickly. Conveniently located right next to a 99 Ranch Market and a pho restaurant, this location enjoys plenty of foot traffic. The parking lot is large, but it's still a struggle to find a spot due to the busy Asian market.“

Boba was fresh and chewy. No complaints, and the cashier was nice. They have a variety of snacks and Korean bingsoo to try. Nice small shop connected to the Chinese restaurant next door so you'll need to go there for a restroom. It's a small unassuming place but a nice local spot to give a try!“
