“First time trying this place out and I couldn’t have been more excited to know they have Taylor ham! I ordered a Jersey Shore on an everything bagel. One bite in and it brought back my memories of NJ. The bagel was fresh and so flavorful. I was really excited they had my favorite Italian dessert rainbow cookies on display so I couldn’t pass that up. The menu is diverse and has many authentic East Coast items. Customer service was great and the owner is very friendly. I look forward to returning and trying another item.“

“This deli is a staple to the Miramar area. Breakfast or Lunch, you can’t go wrong with this place. They have daily lunch specials that include something for everyone’s taste. I recommend their chicken Katsu and their southwest steak sub. Delicious!“

“The food here is excellent! The family that owns it are wonderful! All their sandwiches are so good. We drive from Ramona to eat here, since we moved out of the area. They are always happy to see you and they know so many of their customers. The place is clean but very small. I wish they had one in the North county. The drive is well worth by it!“

“Have you ever had breakfast that tasted homemade but wasn't from your kitchen. I had one bite and that was all for me One of the reasons we keep on returning. Love the burritos.the way they wrap them and how perfectly they are put together. The coffee really good quality ,might be one of my favorites in Kearny Mesa . “I'm mind blown to find out I never wrote a review for my favorite sandwich shop of all times! I originally found out about C's Ice Cream and Deli from my friend's dad back in 1999 and instantly fell in love with the small sandwich shop! Honestly, it was really the root beer selection that drew me in since Sasparilla/ Root Beer is my favorite beverage of all times! Out of 150 variants of root beer, cream soda, ginger ale, and everything else in between, 80% of my first time tries has come from C's. My favorite root beer is Sparky's (be very careful, this root beer has such a bite, you won't taste anything afterwards)...sounds to strong and want something smooth and creamy then try Virgil's! Don't like root beer, no problem...I also love their sandwiches. My top 3 Sandwiches are: Roast Beef Artichoke, Chicken Cordon Bleu and Pepperoni Roaster! But honestly, you just gotta make it down the list of all sandwiches. I suggest getting everything included, tomato, lettuce, oil and & vinegar with a pickle spear on the side. C's Deli is family owned and ran by a husband and wife team (Todd & Anastasia) and throughout the many years their kids helped in the shop as well and I had the pleasure to watch them all grow up to be fine adults! C's is a small shop tucked in a very small strip mall on the end of Mira Mesa Blvd. They have been there since 1989 and have made it through numerous ups and down (stock market crashes and even a pandemic) I've been going to C's Deli since my senior year in high school (1999) and sometimes daily during my college days (1999-2002) at Miramar College. I love how they greet their regulars (like myself) by name and I truly have grown to consider Todd, Anastasia and the kids.... FAMILY! My only con is since my wife and I live in fallbrook, I don't get the opportunity to go to the deli as often as I would like! But since my parents both still live in Mira Mesa, it makes for a great excuse to visit C's Deli! “You would not expect a small, inconspicuous deli in an industrial park to have one of the best burgers you've ever had in your life, but here we are. A burger so good it made me get on my phone immediately just to right a review. “Our favorite spot to eat at in San Diego while we were stationed here!! I miss their subs so much because there is definitely no other sub shop that compares to them. Now living back on the East coast, this is the only thing I miss about San Diego! I’d love to be able to eat here again! Somehow, she remembers the names and usual orders of everyone who comes through her door--and that's saying something, given the lunch rushes I've seen there.
