“Lovely cozy little place with plenty of Steinbeck memorabilia to peruse through. The servers are all very kind (all volunteers!) My chicken wrap was yummy and the veggie broth and bread rolls were definitely homemade and delicious. It was definitely worth the lunch stop. Keep in mind they close at 2pm so arrive before 2.“
“Loved this place. Just the owner and her husband. Will definitely come back again. Going to be my go-to Chinese place in Marina. So thankful my family and I tried it. She was very kind and gave us complimentary tempura. More than enough food for the four of us!!“
“Nestled in Prunedale, the Country Kitchen offers a cozy, homey atmosphere and classic American diner fare made with quality ingredients. The menu features hearty breakfasts, juicy burgers, and satisfying entrees. What really stands out is the attentive, friendly service from a staff that goes out of their way to make customers feel at home, whether you're a regular or first-time visitor. The classic diner decor completes the small-town vibe. For comfort food and warm hospitality, the Country Kitchen is a wonderful example of the kind of community-focused restaurant that gives Prunedale its unique charm. It's a spot worth visiting for a taste of home cooking.“
“We have visited Rancho Cielo for dinner on many occasions and always have a very positive experience. The menu selections are creative and delicious. The wait staff is knowledgeable and engaged. The experience that the students receive from the academy is top notch and will definitely prepare them for a career in the restaurant industry.“
“1/13/24 I have been coming here for 5 + years Ordered Pime Rib medium well, just slightly pink for the third time, and the experience was the same. A plane tasting piece of meat, and a little on the dry side. I seriously do not recommend it. Go to a specialty steakhouse where they know how to prepare it.Service is good overall but sometimes lacking on details, that falls on management, the servers do try their best.Understand my experience, it's a high-end restaurant, and pricy. If you are a serious meat eater, I recommend the Rib eye.Parking: There parking lot is very small and tight. There is the street or across the street, a much larger parking lot.“
“Came here on the recommendation of our hotel concierge as we were going to elkhorn slough. Great recommendation! Had the eggs benedict with skirt steak, and it was delicious. Buttermilk pancakes for my daughter were fantastic, and my wife had Dave's omelette and loved it. Overall I would come back here again and again, but do not live close enough, so it may just be today and again tomorrow. Then I'll have to wait for my next trip down highway 1.“
“Get ready for a flavor fiesta that'll have your taste buds doing the salsa at Tico's! Despite its modest size, this place packs a punch that'll leave you craving more. As I stepped in, I caught Tico himself in action, orchestrating culinary magic in the kitchen. The food was so divine that I just had to snag a pic with the maestro himself to commemorate the moment. From flavor to service, Tico's hits all the right notes with its charming mom-and-pop vibe. If you find yourself in town, do yourself a favor and pay Tico a visit--it's a taste sensation you won't want to miss! “
“I made a quick trip this weekend to my hometown of Salinas for a cousin's funeral, and I found this place on Yelp (where else). My brother and I were hungry for breakfast and this place did not disappoint. I ordered the chilaquiles verdes with over medium eggs, beans and rice, while my brother ordered the country eggs Benedict (sausage Patty instead of Canadian bacon). The salsa verde on the chilaquiles had just enough bite without being soggy, the tortilla chips were nice and crispy, and the eggs were cooked just right. The beans and rice complimented the meal perfectly. I was going to order the optional carne asada to go on top of the chilaquiles, but honestly, I didn't miss it. The Señora, presumably the proprietor, came by our table three times with a big smile to see how we liked it. No small feat, considering how busy they were. We are very well for $41 plus tip. I will definitely return to this excellent local spot when I am in town.“
“We love coming here to Dudley’s on Saturday. It’s a family thing. I’ve been coming here since I was a teen with my mother and grandmother. Now I come with my husband and my mother in law. The food is just delicious. My favorite is their pancakes. Oh can’t forget their homemade salsa. I always ask for some to go home with. It’s just that good. If you never been your missing out.“
“I like it, but they are hiring people that dont know english. Try going to mexico and ask for something in english they get all mad. It's a frustration going to restaurants that dont understand our primary language and that are leagal.“
“Had breakfast. Was pretty busy at the time we arrived, but were seated quickly. Staff was nice for being quite busy. Seemed like they were handling it well. Still smiled. Didn't take long for food to be delivered to our table. My only minor issue was table was still wet from cleaning when we sat down, would've been nice if they dried it off at least. But was understandable with how busy they were.“
“We come here occasionally for a drink and some light food. The staff is always fantastic and the views are very nice. It’s still relatively unknown and usually quiet, kind of a local secret. All in all a great place for a drink and a bite“
“Well the reviews were perfect they do have the best fish and chips the cod was amazing. Great selection of beer!! Kelly was our waitress, bartender, and she was so friendly it's like we had known her forever. The pub looked just like you would have expected. Excellent historical artifacts. It was great to see people playing cribbage and enjoying themselves. Hope to see you again soon!!“
“We used their catering services for our open house on February 16th, 2023! The food and the service were absolutely hands down outstanding! Exceptional! Delicious! Impressive! 5 stars aren't enough! From beginning to end, everything was perfect! At first, I was skeptical because they are located at the airport. However, I was so incredibly wrong! On top of having phenomenal food and price point, they were kind and professional. I was even invited to a taste test. I declined, but I was asked! I will definitely, use them again. I am actually taking colleagues to the restaurant for lunch today!“
“I'm in town visiting family. My sister wanted to go out for a Valentine's outing. She suggested a restaurant that I won't mention. Instead I made reservations at The Village. We Fettuccini Alfredo with Blackened shrimp. The Lobster Ravioli, & Seafood Monterey Combo player. You could taste how fresh everything was. Fresh, good quality food and reasonable prices, especially in to crazy economy. Skip the "franchise restaurants"' come here for higher quality food that wasn't previously frozen! The food is delicious. You're always greeted with a warm friendly smile. This place never misses!!!?“
“María was my server today. Excellent service. I was greeted right away. My order was taken and served not long after. I ordered a lumberjack. It was delicious. Everything well done. She kept checking in on us. Overall, they have great customer service“
“This was a good find. This was my first time in Aromas, CA. I stopped by for food and beer. I had a chicken sandwich, which was really good. I also had onion rings that were also very good. Finally, had a nice cold beer. The server was super nice and very helpful. I'll have to come back :-)“
“We went to Stevies yesterday for a late lunch. I had heard a lot mostly good but some not so good so I didn't know what to expect. The restaurant was totally empty when we got there. I wasn't overly impressed with they decor but that's not why I was there. They have a fairly large menu that included both breakfast and dinner but not overwhelming. I chose the club sandwich with curly fries, my husband chose the chicken fried steak. I have to say that the fries were really good and crispy. The club sandwich was good. The bread was perfect. Bacon was good. The turkey was regular deli turkey. Maybe around Thanksgiving they'll cook turkey in-house. My husband said the chicken fried steak was good. I took a bite and it was ok but I've been searching for the perfect chicken fried steak since I left Texas. My overall summary is that Stevies is decent but I wouldn't expect foodies to appreciate it.“
