“We had such a great experience here and can’t recommend this spot enough. The owner and manager were incredibly accommodating and welcoming, especially in allowing us to host a groomsmen proposal dinner in their private room. From the very beginning, reserving the space was easy and stress-free.

The manager went above and beyond to make us feel comfortable and taken care of and even the owner—who I spoke with on the phone—came across as such a genuinely great guy. You can really tell they care about their guests.

The food was delicious, the atmosphere was cool and inviting, and the whole night felt effortless thanks to their hospitality. If you’re looking for a spot with great food, great vibes, and even better people behind it, this is it. Thank you Hangry Herd.”

For our entrée: *8oz lobster tail, baked potato and green beans *Surf and Turf, which included prime rib, king crab leg, baked potato and green beans. We ended our meal having cheesecake with raspberry sauce and creme brulee. Our sever was attentive and polite. He went above and beyond to make our experience a pleasure. The atmosphere was inviting and relaxing. We will definitely be back...highly recommend!”

We called fairly last minute, this past Saturday, to get 25 adults and 12 kids in for lunch after an activity in the area. The manager said that she was by herself but that she would make it happen. By the time we got there, she had called in additional staff and had every pizza prepped and in the oven. We were all very impressed. Over 20 beers on rotation, from hazy IPAs and crisp pilsners to wild smoothie sours and barrel-aged stouts. I tried a blueberry banana cheesecake sour that tasted like it came straight from a dessert menu. Meanwhile, the “Side Pull Pillows” Czech pilsner was perfectly clean and balanced—proof they do the classics just as well as the experimental. The space is laid-back and welcoming. Plenty of seating both inside and out, misters on the patio for hot days, and dog-friendly! The staff was super knowledgeable and happy to offer recommendations based on what I liked. The Fish Tandoori was perfectly seasoned with just the right amount of smoky flavor, tender on the inside with a nice char on the outside. The White Sauce Pizza was rich and creamy without being too heavy—each bite was packed with flavor. And the Baingan Bharta? Easily one of the best I’ve had, with that deep, roasted eggplant flavor coming through beautifully. On top of the great food, the service was friendly and efficient, and the atmosphere was warm and inviting. Definitely a spot worth visiting if you’re in the area. Will be back for sure!”

I put the order in online and Allen (The Owner) Called me to tell me that getting the food delivered the day before might leave guests with a less than stellar view of his business. The Soy Garlic and Original Crispy are my go-tos, but the Hot & Spicy hits the spot when you want a little extra kick. Don’t skip the baked chicken as it’s perfect if you want something lighter but still packing tons of flavor.

The sides and starters are just as good — especially the cheeseballs and sodduck sodduck. Portions are generous, and even the takeout stays crunchy and delicious.

They have a wide selection of matcha drinks and fruit drinks. The quality of the boba was surprisingly good. They are known for the fruit/matcha combo drink selections.

I unwisely chose a matcha jasmine tea drink, and it was a bit underwhelming. Again, the boba was good- but the matcha wasn't. Maybe I should have chosen the recommended mango matcha...

Also the sweet level is on the low side- I usually go for 25%, but I recommend 50% or 75%. Anyways, not a bad place if you really need the midday boost. Enjoy!”

“I don't understand anyone saying the food is bland. I've been going here for approximately 25 years and it's amazing how consistent the food has been over that long period of time. Everything I've tried has been very flavorful and delicious and well-seasoned, and again, CONSISTENT.

There's only so much you can do with Spanish rice and refried beans, so those are never going to wow anyone, but they have as much flavor as you can expect without totally changing them. Their salsa is delicious and consistent and well-seasoned. I like that it is blended well and not super chunky.

They do not have, nor ever had hard liquor, so the margaritas are wine margaritas. You can't judge them against real margaritas, so you have to appreciate them for what they are. That's why I normally just enjoy a couple bottles of Corona with my meal.

Someone else complained about their prices, but compared to other Mexican food places, and taking portion sizes into consideration, their prices are actually quite reasonable. Their prices are so reasonable that I don't even mind ordering from Doordash sometimes.”

“Great place for ice cream. 50 years ago I worked at a Baskin-Robbins in Dayton, Ohio. Then, six cones with 2 scoops cost $1.68. Today those cones cost about $36. But the cones are bigger. The quality of the ice cream is the same. Excellent. I will go back again to sample all my old favorites. Tonight was black walnut and jamocha almond fudge.”

“88 Bao Bao in Rancho Cordova is a convenient spot for families looking for Chinese food and soup dumplings. We came with the kids and they really loved the xiao long bao. They were hot, flavorful and had a good broth. The sautéed garlic green beans were another winner and had great seasoning.

Some dishes could use a bit more flavor. The chili oil wontons had good texture but needed more zest. The chow mein was on the mild side and the popcorn chicken could have been crispier.

Overall we would come back for the xiao long bao and the green beans. The restaurant had fast service, was kid friendly and a clean dining area which made it easy for a family meal. If you are looking for soup dumplings or Chinese food in Rancho Cordova this place is worth trying, especially with kids.”

“I have been to other Adalberto's but this is definitely my favorite. If you have time, go and order inside even if you are taking it to go. The food somehow tastes even better! Plus, there is a chips and salsa bar. I don't like the way the drive thru is set up, so that's one more reason to order inside.”
