Casual place for fantastic Cuban food. We started with beef empanadas - crispy exterior, tasty beef filling - loved the accompanying sauce - added a nice herbaceous brightness! My husband has the mofongo de pollo - outstanding dish. I'm normally not the hugest fan of chicken - but this chicken was tender and throughly flavorful. Food: Authentic, flavorful, and definitely something I crave weekly! Every time I have eaten here, the food has been amazing. The Pollo Asado is so good! I love the empanadas and will always ask for extra sauce. I never have tried the biztec, but 3 out of 4 people I know who have tried it have said that their chicken was dry. I had the absolute pleasure of eating at this restaurant today. It is hands down the best Cuban food I have ever had. I ordered the monfongo puerco and I was exceedingly surprised by how amazing it was. The pork, cooked to perfection (tender and juicy!); the maduros, so sweet and chewy; and the mofongo, the most moist and flavorful mofongo I've ever had!
