Food was okay, but just had apps. Service was good, but he didn't seem to know much about the hotels other menus and restaurants. Ambiance was kind of dark and uninviting. It was after 6 on a Thursday before Stagecoach weekend. I just expected a little more.

Staying at the Omni Rancho Las Palmas Resort, Ember is the only restaurant option. A group of us had lunch here and there were some delicious items and some inedible ones. Our favorite appetizers were the Cauliflower Bites with spicy ginger sauce and the Brussels Sprouts with pomegranate, cotija cheese, and chipotle-vinaigrette. For entrees, it seems like the Ahi Tuna or Salmon Bowl were hits. I especially liked the bok choy and enoki mushrooms that came with it. One person got the BluEmber Burger and enjoyed how big it was. Another friend got the Korean BBQ shrimp and the bamboo rice that came with it was so hard that it was difficult to chew (1 star off). We shared the Truffle-Parmesan Fries, but I found the fries to be soft and floppy, not seasoned, and without any truffle flavor (1 star off). There is a large cocktail menu with a grid that charts different properties of the cocktail. I had the Apple Spice Sour (seedlip spice 94, barmalade apple-pear, monin cinnamon, lemon juice, angostura bitters) and enjoyed it quite a bit.I think this is a good restaurant to take a leisure, relaxing lunch while gazing at palm trees and water fountains on the property. The cocktails have been consistently good, but the food can be hit or miss. If you are stuck on the property, this restaurant will do. If you don't mind going off property for a bit, there are much better options for food+drinks.

I ate twice from this restaurant while I was in Palm Springs and it was very good. The cheese bread was disappointing though. The service was excellent.

A pleasant surprise. Beautiful heated patio on a bright but chilly afternoon. Quiet and quite posh. Not overrun with the winter tourist crowd. Excellent, courteous service that you would expect from the Omni brand. Small lunch menu with delicious options. Perfectly seared ahi. Pull up at the porte cochere for valet parking.

Pretty solid resort restaurant since they can always be hit or miss. We only got breakfast here during our stay but can tell from the food quality that they're probably on point with lunch and dinner service as well. One great perk of getting breakfast here is that kids eat free! Had my 2 little ones in tow and they dined for free both days and their meals were solid pancakes/French toast/waffles and generous portions. I had a breakfast burrito and omelette on consecutive days. Service was excellent as well!

I don't need to say anything other than I just ordered an acai "bowl" was served to me in a tiny cup that just cost me $41 and is practically inedible. They blended the acai with oats like who the hell wants that. That's not even an acai bowl. And the coffee is really quite bad too. Feels like they are taking advantage of us as human beings and that is not right. I will not stand for it.

This place is amazing! The outdoor patio was very relaxing and had some heaters to keep us warm. The food however was the real deal! The menu changes each month keeping you on your toes. The pizza menu is the only thing I think that has some regularity to it. We were told to get the pepperoni pie on our first visit and it was the perfect appetizer. It could easily feed a group of four but my wife and I crushed it without a problem. The server was present and helpful with the menu and took great care of us all evening. We will be back again to see what is new and I don't doubt we will enjoy the pizza.

Not sure why this place has such low ratings. Everything we ordered was delicious. We had 8-9 dishes and enjoyed every single one of them. We ate outside with limited menu while enjoying the live music. We also had the dinner menu inside the restaurant. The steak chimmichuri sauce was a rave and the shrimps were delicious!

We were staying at the Omni for a wedding so thought we'd check out this place for breakfast before the ceremony. I ordered the huevos rancheros and thought they were decent, but felt that the dish (and all the others) were a tad overpriced. Just a warning as well that the place doesn't have much shade coverage, so it was a little miserable sitting in the sun after a while. Overall a good spot to go to if you're wanting to get a convenient bite to eat at the hotel!

Went for New Years Day brunch. As part of the buffet promotion, they highlighted a Bloody Mary Bar. Sounded great. However, after the 6 of us were seated, we were informed it was a "Virgin" Bloody Mary Bar.If you wanted the real thing, it was an extra 8 bucks a pop. Very, very deceiving.

They had a live musician the night we ate there and he was SO LOUD. It was like he was screaming so no one could hear each other. The service was good. The food and drinks were mediocre. We had some fries (meh), chips and salsa (not good), and some nachos (good). The main issue was the general environment, having little seating and of course the screaming man.

We had three great meals here during our time at the Omni. Beautiful indoor and outdoor seating and great service. Breakfast - the cinnamon roll is like a cinnamon roll and croissant had a baby and was a treat we got both days in a row. Highly recommend asking for extra icing. The omelets were huge and came with potatoes and lots of toast. Like everything here, it was a little pricey but the portion size is huge. Hindsight, my husband and I could have split the omelet and cinnamon roll and had plenty to eat. We did get French toast on top of it just because it sounded so yummy, and it was, but just lots of food. For dinner we did the filet and creme brûlée. Very good and would get again.
