04/10/24- Staff very nice!- All portions were huge for everything.- They were out of Ribs at about 6:30 (this may be normal ?), so wife tried the Tri-Tip Dinner: meat was very tough compared to our previous experience at other BBQ spots. BBQ sauce was very good. Potato salad was bland, with little flavor. Beans were not to our liking "as is", but very good after adding a fair amount of Dill's great BBQ sauce. Except for doctored beans, this dinner was a tosser.- Walnut Salad was quite good, and so big I couldn't eat my Club sandwich due to size of salad.- Choc Chip cookies very good.- Did not generally feel like $50 well spent due to wife dumping everything in the Tri-Tip dinner except the beans.Since their primary focus is on the BBQ, can't give more than 3 stars, even though everything else was great.

Wow. Where to start? Value? OK a ginormous French dip that was more than two people could eat. Piled high with. I swear with a pound of roast beef. A tall pour of Cabernet. And a tall Coke. $20 with tax and tip. The glass of Cab was 3.50. For real.Atmosphere? Place was very busy.Staff. 1st rate. Want to know where all the good kids work in Reading. I think they all work here. What a staff. This is one of those rare places that as your leaving- you say “wow”!Can’t wait to return.

We are heading to north Idaho in our GA airplane. Stopped at Redding for the night. Dill’s Deli was near our hotel. The desk person recommended Dill’s. Our 1/2 chicken plate with salad and beans was sooooo good. Had a couple beers too. There is an ice cream place right next door (32 below) which is also really good. This is one of those small independent places that you don’t know about until you do.

Really love this place but anytime I go in or call there’s a lady who’s always super rude with attitude. Doesn’t greet or anything just says “ hello” in a very rude tone. As much as I love the food don’t think I’ll be coming back

Can't beat the price, the food is amazing. It's super close to the Comfort inn, we walked to it within 2 minutes. The employees were really nice and accommodating, 5 of us got completely different orders, and it was $70 for a large drink, 4 big all different and amazing sandwiches, a large gluten free cranberry walnut salad, and a cookie! Can't beat that anywhere! Love this place. Definitely will be coming back!

My first time trying out this north side neighborhood eatery. GREAT sandwiches and homemade potato salad. Yum! The pastrami is hot and so was the Reuben. I am going to tell everybody about them. Oh, and Below 32 ice cream is next door. Boom!!!
