We tried Lumberjacks again today after reading reviews on the Redding Restaurant Review and hearing they had new management and we were very impressed! The new manager, I believe his name tag said Gary was very personable, he was greeting folks as they came in and left. The food was hot, fresh and back to the normal portion sizes they used to have. We had stopped going due to poor management and just complete lack of customer care with the old manager. We will definitely be back!...read full review
It was busy in there. That's ok.
A special recommendation for the host, despite the craziness and our little party's slightly chaotic arrangements he took a few seconds to give us just a little attention, getting us coffee while we waited for the rest to arrive. Excellent service sir, You Earned This. (To be honest, I thought of moving to the counter to get us OFF his hands, but he even rose above that. 👍👍)
Ate there for two dinners while passing through the area. Very large servings. Good food. (Two) servers we dealt with and the manager were all very friendly and helpful. Wish we had one in Olympia, WA. If we did we'd eat there often.
