I found this place via a sushi chef at another restaurant. So glad I tried it. My favorite at another restaurant that has closed was War Wonton soup. It didn't disappoint. Delicious comfort food at its best. Also ordered potstickers. They were HUGE and delicious. Same for chicken chow mein. I was also impressed with the super friendly fast service. Highly recommend this restaurant.

Ok on our road trip to Oregon stopped in Shasta to see the Caverns. I really didn’t want pizza again with the kids. So we rolled the dice and Tried Chinese. One word YAYZEE. Orange chicken BEST EVER!Super crispy light breading with juicy chicken. Sauce was sweet and spicy at the same time perfectly balanced. We also had the Wanton Noodle and chicken corn egg drop soup top notch. Along with the chicken fried Rice and Combination Hong Kong crispy noodles we had enough to take home and have for Lunch next day. All for $60 ok shut the front door! Better yet throw it open and get over to this place you will not be sorry!

This place is spectacular. To start the service is top notch we never saw our glasses last half full and the staff is so caring, welcoming and overall amazing. We were staying in a hotel and with our left overs the servers brought paper plates and plastic cutlery to make our process easier. The restaurant is beautiful and the food was absolutely spectacular. The menu is so large with something for everyone’s taste. From the soup to the chicken everything is fresh and delicious. Highly recommend it’s a must visit!
This place is definitely one of the better chinese restaurants in town. The combo chow fun with gravy is wonderful. Wide flat noodles with all the meats, a ton of vegis, and a delightful savory sauce. Their crab and cheese wontons are good. The pork fried rice is quite good as well. Unfortunately, their potstickers are just frozen premade potstickers. There is just no substitute for handmade potstickers.The staff is on top of everything and friendly. The decor could use a little update as it is a little shabby. I, however, am willing to overlook this as some of the best food comes from some fairly shabby looking joints. Will definitely go again!

The girl at the counter was beautiful and the food was so good the wonton soup is the best I ever had and the sesame chicken was so good the fried rice was delicious and the egg rolls was delicious I will come back every time I past through Redding mos def my go to spot when i go to Redding
We had an excellent time at Panda South. It was nice and quiet they had some music on but low enough where you could still speak with people at your table. The food was excellent. There wasn't a single thing that wasn't really good. The egg drop soup was super good. I'm going to go back the next time I'm in town.Parking: Corner building with a huge parking lot. You will never have trouble parking.

Sorry no photos. The food was excellent and the presentation was neat, professional, and thoughtful. The staff was efficient and very courteous. We enjoyed our meal. The restaurant was surprisingly lightly attended during the lunch period when we were there on a Thursday. I would go here again.
