I think pops is the greatest they're Philly cheesesteakers out of this world I've compared it to other sandwich places and pops always comes out the winter. I miss going there for my wonderful delicious food I'm praying that they open up again.

Happened by this place around lunchtime and it reflected what it portrayed. Maybe not a blast from the past but a very good whiff. Burger was great and fries were plentiful.Parking: Parking surrounds the building. More than adequate.Wheelchair accessibility: Yes.

Classic 50's drive in. Only thing missing is the servers on roller skates. Came here for a chocolate malt. Was also in the mood for a hot dog. They have quite the variety. I chose a polish kraut dog. It is perfection! Served quite hot, I appreciated the plastic fork as the sauerkraut was generously piled on top of the mustard covered dog. I could taste the smoky flavor of the polish dog. The bun was perfectly toasted. With the strong flavors of the food, I'm having a hard time tasting the malt. But it is good as well. A step above an In-n-Out shake with a strong chocolate flavor and not overly sweet. Ah! There's the malt flavor! Wow...okay, this will be a regular stop whenever I'm driving through Redding. Ha! A customer just came in and said, "You make the best shake in the world." I agree. Pretty epic. The dining area was about half full when I arrived. Service was quick. Pretty sweet '32 roadster parked out front when I arrived. What an image - American Graffiti nostalgia.

Always a tasty place to stop and enjoy some nostalgia! This was an A&W back in the day and there is a lot of History here! The food is always ultra fresh and tasty!!! I highly recommend any of their steak sandwiches! They has no problem making me one without a bun and it was delicious!!!
This place is will leave you speechless from how good their shakes are, my friend put me on to the chocolate banana shake and I had an Oreo shake as well, top notch delicious! Have to try if your from out of town ! Hands down one of the best shakes I’ve had in my life and I’m from New York !

Great food we always order the ortega burgers and philly cheese steak fries. Both are some of the best in the area. Their shakes are also really good and they have good customer service. My wife and I have been eating here for over 10 years.
