It makes Cheers seem like a stuffy bar where no one knows you because Scott and his staff go above and beyond to make sure every patron feels at home and comfortable talking to anyone in the place. The food is amazing and Charlie's is now my #1 spot for sporting events, camaradarie, and friendship!

Okay I've heard my friend talk about this place for YEARS now and I finally got to come and try it. I live in NoHo so it was a loonng drive! Parking was easy as this was in a shopping complex. I walked in towards the bar, because my friend was already there. People randomly said hi to me, which was nice! I saw my friend and sat down and ordered a beer. Staff is very friendly and funny - a lot of East Coast transplants. We ordered the wings and garlic knots to start. Also got the pizza with pepperoni, sausage, mushroom and spinach. I thought that was enough food but my friend said the pastas were excellent. He ordered a carbonara and suggested I get the lasagna, so I did. Figured I probably wouldn't be back any time soon and I could take a doggy bag home. Garlic knots were okay but not my favorite but the wings were on point. The pizza was also pretty tasty. I tried a little bit of my friend's pasta - very good! Lasagna was great but by then my stomach was FULL! Overall a very cool place - where they know you if you 're a regular and everyone is super friendly. I love it!
