“Our first time trying this spot. Once I heard there was a lobster specific spot in the South Bay, I had to give it a go. Fun little spot with a bar top as well as booths and tables. We had the lobster rolls Connecticut style, waffle fries, and flaming hot lobster fries. Definitely worth a try. We knew going into it that it would be a pretty penny but wanted to get the full experience on the first go. Also, friendly service definitely stood out. Much appreciated. If you're in the mood for lobster check this spot out.“
“It’s such an amazing experience to get some fresh seafood there! We were looking for shrimp cocktail everywhere. It seems that shrimp cocktail is such an “old/ comfort” food now which is difficult to find nowadays! It was fresh and delicious!!!! And we got some clams, mussels, and shrimps with garlic butter which were delicious! The nice guy who helped, Brock, was so nice, helpful, and kind! We had such an amazing time, maybe also it’s a weekday and everyone there was having a blast!“
“It's a Friday in Lent. What's a Christian craving some penitential fish and chips in the South Bay supposed to do? Naturally, I browsed the SouthbayLA subreddit for some fish and chips recommendations.Bluesalt Fish Grill did not disappoint. The fish and chips were hot, crispy, and tasty. They're a great value and extremely filling for the price.I don't have any complaints about the service. It was a bit busy, but it was also a Friday in Lent when a lot of folks might be eating fish? In any case, I want to bring my mom back here at some point. They have a lot of wild caught fish options.“
“Great view and atmosphere, good was good, drinks were also good, service was a bit slow. It is next to a hotel with parking available with a fee. They have nice couches with graters and a fire pit in the middle. Very nice and cozy place with the bow of the ocean and the boats.“
“Amazing place. Fantastic service and delicious food. Every person from the bartender to our service was the best. Seriously, this place was packed, but we still had a table for 7 and our food on the table in less than 20 mins. You guys are awesome. Thank you again.“
“We have been several times over the last few years when we are here visiting our kids and grandkids and each time is better than the last. The food is terrific and creative. The services as the food comes out quite quickly. Happy hour venues are amazing with a great variety at very good prices. Highly recommend but if possible, it’s more fun to sit outside.“
“Crab-lovers: This place is for you! Best crab shack in SoCal. Colossal selection of live crabs. You pick it, the steam it. Manager is amiable and helpful. Staff are pros with cracking crab. They also leave white paper for you to cover the table. Great view of the ocean. But you have to leave a deposit for their clamps and hammers.“
“Easily one of the best experiences in a long time. We live in the area and have wanted to try this place for a long time. Josh as a host was incredible from the moment we walked in the door. He was so friendly and made us feel like regulars even though it was our first time. Ricardo was our server and we found he had been there fore 23 years. He was so nice and kind. The food is incredible. We had the shrimp cocktail to start, which was great. Then we ordered the famous burger and the prime rib. Both were amazing. We also had the bread pudding for dessert. Everything was so great, and all of the other tables were filled with what felt like regulars. Don't let the outside turn you off. Once you enter, you'll be treated to a great evening.“
“Perfect place to meet a friend for lunch I met a friend for lunch at the Redondo Beach Hook and Plow and it was an exceptionally rainy day. As a result, we were the only ones in there. The waitress was very kind and we ordered the lunch with two choices for about $16.99 and I had hot tea. Delicious! I picked the clam chowder which has a bit of bacon in it and the grilled burrata, arugula and pesto sandwich. We have been to the restaurant before and are always happy to go back.“
“Absolutely my favorite restaurant! I adore the fact that it's never overcrowded, providing a sense of privacy. Nestled in a stunning location with an enchanting view of boats, it's a truly beautiful place. The food is exceptionally delicious, and the overall atmosphere is simply fantastic.“
“Thanks to the guys at Anytime Hawaiian for a great local dinner. We were craving some local food and found Anytime Hawaiian right across the Disneyland bus depot on Harbor. Great guys and great food. Thank you. We will definitely be back again. Aloha“

“We love this place because of the spicy shrimps, they are very tasty here. Wish it was cleaner and more comfortable, but the food and fast and friendly service make it worth coming back again! I also love the view from the window, although the windows themselves are dirty?“
“Best shrimp/octopus fajita, we had this back in 2000s and now there are many other places offer shrimp fajita, but nothing can compare to the flavor here, hubby revisited LA and come here to buy food when I had pregnancy crave at tx, and bring back to tx for me. This time when we took kids to LA we had a shrimp fajita at another place that doesnt taste as good, and we came here to get the shrimp/octopus fajita before we take our flight at LAX, it has to be this place’s flavor. The mild spicy and tangy sour taste combination is the key, and lots of flavorful potatoes, yummy! We finished it on our way to the airport?, wish could take it home to tx “
“Tara Thai Restaurant in Redondo Beach, California is a gem! The owner, a delightful lady, offers impeccable customer service. If you find yourself on this side of town, it's a must-visit for some truly authentic Thai food. Their menu boasts a wide variety of dishes, from classic Pad Thai to flavorful curries and stir-fries. The ambiance is cozy and welcoming, perfect for a casual meal or a special night out. Don't miss out on this fantastic dining experience!“
“This place is cute & good! Giving 5 stars not necessarily bc it’s a 5 star restaurant but my experience no real complaints some things were better than others.Arnold Palmer kinda bland but refreshingOysters were huge and fresh!Cioppino was good!Sourdough bread was good prefer less toasty. But good!Lobster appetizer so goood and pretty!Steamed shellfish not my vibe. Too bland.Sushi rolls were good too! Fun and decorative.“
“Tony's On The Pier is my favorite restaurant in Redondo Beach. We go there for special occasions like our wedding anniversary. On Saturday around 5:30pm there was a thirty minute waiting time, so we walked around the pier and went back after thirty minutes. Our table was ready. The food is delicious there. My favorite dish is the combination charbroiled seafood skewer with rice pilaf and salad topped w small bay shrimps. Ask for the house dressing and extra house dressing on the side. My only concern is that most of the dishes went up in price to $30 - $35. The server and host as usual greeted us with a smile. They have a great bar with a giant firepi to keep you toasty! Don't know about their drinks bc I'm allergic to alcohol. While enjoying dinner and conversation, the view of the ? and Pier from the table or booth is very relaxing. I always leave with enough leftovers for lunch the next day. We leave the restaurant absolutely stuffed and walk around the Pier (maybe get a ???????? ) before we head home. When the sun goes down it can get chilly. Dress in layers. Plenty of cheap self pay parking.“
“Enjoyed our meal. 1 small bad was my not spicy soup had SOMETHING SUPER spicy in it. That took a while to recover from. Also be aware the receipt has a line for tip but the automatically include the tip in your total. They failed to tell us this which is not so cool. Still, I'd go back to try more things. The Cajun fries were amazing.“
“Wow! I thought I had my finger on the pulse of great food in the South Bay...I was wrong! How could I have missed this place? I ordered from here yesterday and Omg! Delicious! The Large poke bowl was incredible! I was blown away...It was fresh and satisfying and healthy! I have a new go-to!“
“Came in on a Sunday evening. This place was empty and I'm surprised because the food here is amazing. The sushi is fresh, the fried foods were breaded to perfection, and everything else was tasty. We ordered 18 items.. everything was so good. I will definitely be back. The only thing that bothered me a bit were the tables and chairs, they were a bit uncomfortable and dirty (tables weren't wiped that well and seats were sticky)“
“I got the keto bowl with salmon and no rice or quinoa. The broccoli wasn't super cooked but that's more nutritional anyway so I'm good with it! The salmon was delicious and everything seemed really fresh. I'll be back for sure!“
“I have been coming here for over 25 years, and I have never left disappointed. Their live crab is the bomb and their spicy fish soup is the perfect finisher. They do get busy on the weekends so be sure to plan for that. Otherwise, put on the plastic bib and hammer away with their wooden hammers and eat the most succulent Dungeness crab that you have ever had.“
“Came for brunch on New Years Day and the food and cocktails were great! Service was wonderful and our server, Devon, made great recommendations. We will definitely be returning!Kid-friendliness: They have a great kids menu with the classic favorites!“
“While visiting the area recently, we ate at Kincaid’s three times. Both the lunches and dinner were very good. The seafood and pasta were delicious and presented in a lovely way. The servers and other staff were very friendly and helpful. The facilities and setting made for great atmosphere. We highly recommend it. Try the molten chocolate cake“
“The three of us shared the brussels sprout salad, which was absolutely delicious the lobster lollipop appetizer the robins Island steak, the scallop, potatoes, country bread, and for dessert we decided to top it off with the milk chocolate crème brûlée service was great as was the presentation. Nice wine list, I'll be back again and may order the same thing!“
