“My family just tried this relatively new restaurant for brunch on Sunday and so glad we did! It was a beautiful day out and even though there were plenty of tables inside and out, my daughter opted to eat inside. After you walk in, you order and pay before finding yourself a place to sit. We were in a bit of a rush since my daughter had a soccer game nearby, and the employee was very nice and said she would rush our order and put our drinks in to go cups even though we were dining there. The menu offers a variety of options to choose from, including Korean staples like fried chicken and rice cakes, as well as salads, burgers and croffles (cross between a croissant and a waffle). They also serve specialty coffees, boba teas, cocktails, beer and wine. We sampled the chicken croffle, fish and ships and shrimp fettucine alfredo. I must say, all the food was delicious! The fried chicken that went with the croffle was seasoned well and was very crispy, like it was double battered. I had never tried a croffle before, but it was really tasty! It came with sliced grapes and strawberries. My only complaint is that the dish was swimming in syrup. It wasn't overly sweet, but I would have preferred the syrup on the side. I'll know to order that next time! The fish and chips included 2 large pieces of fish and seasoned fries. The fish was pretty good, but the fries were excellent! At first I was reluctant to let my 8 year old order a $20 pasta dish, but with 5 large shrimps and prosciutto mixed in the sauce, it was definitely worth it. It was a generous portion and tasted like carbonara! Highly recommend! My daughter also ordered a mango drink with lychee jelly, which she enjoyed and I had an iced orange grapefruit black tea that was really refreshing. I was pretty impressed with Corner Kitchen. Happy to see that the place had a steady stream of customers coming in while we were dining there. I hope this place stays awhile! I can't wait to go back and try more things, especially the Korean dishes!!“
“Parking lot is small and shared by other businesses. they are open 24/7 ! When i went it was 10pm and still many options to choose from. Donuts are fluffy and soft. Huge to. Paid $25 for 6 donuts . Alot of seating areas. Lady who helped us was nice and attentive, looked like she was working alone though . They make the donuts fresh everyday! They have coffee and a fridge full of varieties of drinks. They even have plain milk when we asked for it! Would come again and recommend!“
“I've always liked happy lemon since their taste of all the happy lemon drinks in different branches have always stayed consistent. It's my first time at this particular location & I came at a slow time during mid day which is nice since the other locations I've been usually gets packed. The ambiance of this location is so nice since it's so clean inside & it's located near a lot of different food chains. Totally would go back to this location.“
“Try the croque madame! It makes for a delicious and decadent lunch and comes with a good side salad. They also have a tasty cheesecake. The coffee/drinks are just OK for me and the hot chocolate was disappointing - definitely skip. Good almond croissant and chocolate croissants as well. Service is friendly although tables are not cleaned in a timely manner. This is a nice spot to have in Redwood City and has potential to be great with improved beverages/cleanliness.“
“Absolutely adore this place! From the delightful staff, delectable food, to the charming atmosphere, it's a complete package!Plus, their mimosas are unparalleled, even for someone like me who doesn't usually indulge. I've been a loyal patron since day one, and my go-to dish has to be their breakfast tacos! ?“
“Modern cafe with good food choices and well made coffee drinks. We had the avocado toast, caprese panini and parma panini. All were very flavorful. The panini bread was very crusty, dark bread. It was challenging to find a table for four but one opened up eventually. Lots of people working on laptops. The music is good and kept at a level which allows for conversation. The staff was very friendly.“
“100% recommend getting the strawberry croissant! Lamination is done amazingly which makes every bite so flaky. The red strawberry stripes are also not just for aesthetic but are flavorful. And the biggest surprise was the lightly sweet strawberry cream that was in the center! I wish I could eat this everyday.“
“Great spot to get your morning boost. Whether that's coffee, tea or a pastry. Not only is there a good amount of choices but the customer service is amazing. I've become a regular here and have to say it's been because of the great customer service. Shout out to the sweet ladies running the spot!!“
“What a terrific lunch spot - great variety of delicious foods, fantastic prices, and water front seating. It’s frankly unbeatable and the staff were so kind and courteous to us. We got pizza and hide ceasar salads either two drinks for $25!!!!Dietary restrictions: Health conscious eaters welcomedKid-friendliness: Great high chairs and stimulating location by the water“
“Looking for something different with a nice view ? girls in bikini if that is offensive I apologize but it's a reality here drinks are for the most part good but the women working are the real reason you go maybe not a place to go with kids or family.“
“5 Stars for amazing service and amazing iced cofffee I came in around 3 pm and got a Large Iced Coffee with *5 creams *3 pumps of Pumkin * 1 Pump of Vanilla Bean * It's officially my favorite I don't regret it I'll just keep coming back :)))) plus super sweet workers“
“This is a small boba milk tea place in sequoia station. You just walk in and order. There's no place to sit. I ordered the mango milk tea with 50% sweetness and light ice. It was actually better than I expected. It was under $6 (which seems about right). I think I'll go back to try other flavors.“
“Loved my drink today!! It tasted super yummy and also looked so pretty? The interior has limited seating, but long tables/good study space. There was still plenty of spots open to settle down and work. The drinks take a bit of time, but come out within 10-15mins. Staff is friendly and overall a great coffee shop in downtown RWC :)“
“It's a small cafe in the Stanford medical building. I don't think you come here for gourmet food or anything. You come here if you're a patient and hungry or if you're medical staff in need of breakfast or lunch.I've stopped here a few times after some of my medical visits to Stanford. It's clean and while they have gotten rid of most seating due to Covid there are still some seating spots along the wall. And you can sit outside.Their scones are okay. I've gotten blueberry and cranberry and I think the blueberry one tastes better. I'm usually starving when I come here though so it's fine. They also have a breakfast sandwich all day but I haven't tried it yet. There's also some grab n go sandwiches and drinks too.Their mocha is not bad although they do charge extra $0.50 for decaf.“
“Crust has made it to Redwood City! The sourdough sandwiches are delicious as always -- but news alert! This location also serves coffee and breakfast sandwiches. The craft coffee is from a small batch local roaster and is full-flavored and oh so smooth. If you're a coffee aficionado, you gotta give it a try. Plenty of seating inside and on the front patio too.“
“Everytime we go into this store I have been super impressed! Our experience is that we feel important and many times we have been remembered. Will ( not sure his last name ) stands out as being our favorite. He always seems dedicated to helping us and all the customers be served with enthusiasm!!! I will always stop at this store to see him, and of course, buy our favorite drinks and goodies.“
“My second time and it has been a great space for coffee events. I say this review with no financial incentive and I don't have any religious or political affiliation, either. I miss having coffee houses with piano, books, etc. not a lot of this space in the mid-Peninsula wherr you can linger on a lazy Sunday morning .“
“I ordered a mangonada and a bacon burrito and my husband got an americano. I haven't had a good mangonada since I've moved up to the Bay Area but this was one of the best ones I've ever had, even over SoCal spots. Reminded me of frutería places I would go to in SD. The burrito was also one of the best breakfast burritos I've ever had, it's not super large but it packs a ton of flavor (que sabroso)! Also, my husband usually never comments on his coffee because he just drinks it black but he said it was one of the better ones he's had in awhile. The girl who took our order and brought out our food and drinks was super sweet and kind. This is definitely a hole in the wall but a total gem.“
“I am from Santa Cruz and recently brought a friend to Sequoia Hospital. We ended up going to Pete's and were pleasantly surprised.Everyone was super friendly, and the coffee was great! The shop was immaculate and the sidewalk outside was clean.Thank you for giving us a great impression of your beautiful city!“
“I worked here for a whole day, and it was really nice. Quiet ambiance, good natural light once the sun is up, small and big tables for me to put all my items, fast wifi. Would definitely come back and work here. It is street parking but I was able to parking right in front of the door twice“
