“I had a fantastic experience at Starbucks! My coffee was prepared exactly as I like it, and the warm breakfast sandwiches were a delicious addition. Despite the bustling atmosphere, both in the drive-through and inside the store, Gabby's customer service was outstanding. Her attention to detail and friendly demeanor made my visit truly enjoyable.“
“Solid bagels for the Bay Area. Much better than Noah's in my option. My favorite is the salt bagel with cream cheese and bacon but they also have amazing bagel sandwiches. I've only ever ordered for take-out but it usually arrives very quickly.“
“Had a fat weeklong craving for smoked salmon, and this was one of the places that's been on my radar for brunch. First thing I noticed was how cute the interior is!! It's decked in flower decorations and interesting table setups. They also have screen-free weekends, so don't come here on a weekend if you need a place to sit down and work. We got the smoked salmon toast with avocado, berry brûlée toast (a spring special item!), and a matcha latte, which they say is made with ceremonial grade matcha imported from Japan. Smoked salmon toast was standard smoked salmon toast, which in my opinion, is all you can really ask for if you love smoked salmon like me. The crust on the toast was a bit overly hard, though, but I mean...I feel like any cafe with thick toast is going to have that. Berry brûlée toast was nicely sweet and creamy, but I had hoped there would be more berries. Matcha latte was STRONG on the matcha. We ended up diluting it with more milk from the communal pitchers LOL. It's good you know they're not diluting it themselves though! Overall, I'd definitely be back. It's a bit pricey here but still more affordable than other brunch spots. Waffles look great too!“
“The traditional bánh mì is surprisingly good. Very happy with it. I wouldn't expect it to be so delicious and authentic from what I thought is a donut store. The brown sugar milk tea should have more brown sugar syrup but overall, I'll order from this place again.“
“This place is fast and consistent. I have ordered both delivery and in-person and they always do a good job. There is not a lot of seating, it is mostly a take out place. If you have had really good bagels before, it is hard to do well, and there are few places that excel. The Bagels here are decent and certainly better than anything at most of the supermarkets and most of the other locations in the area that sell bagels. However, the best things here are the bagel sandwiches -- I particularly like the whitefish salad sandwich, and their other combinations are great. If you need a quick and good packable lunch for the family or kids, this is a good place to go. All the delivery services pick up from here as well and they start serving early so it is a good solution for an early delivered lunch as well.“
“This is a warm and cozy neighborhood coffee/breakfast/hangout place. At a quiet corner off the busy street. Regulars come here every morning having a cup of coffee and bagels and read newspaper here. Super nice and cozy vibes. Everything is at unbelievably reasonable prices. If you just need something nice and simple and just hang out, this is the place. People are super nice here. We always occupy that outdoor table with our dogs.“
“I only took out coffee, but the iced Americano was really delicious and the staff was friendly. And there are so many seats that you can come here to study (there are also many seats with charging cords inside).I only ordered coffee to take out. Iced Americano was so delicious and not pricey. This place was so huge. When I visited here, it was around 2-3pm and not many people were there. There are some seats outside as well. Also, the employees were friendly.“
“This place was great. They could maybe use some more flavors but I can't hate when the service and taste meets far past what I'd vision. I wasn't expecting as great as it was. I had that cinnamon nitro cold brew and it was great. They have a cool seating area too.“
“A San Carlos tradition. Regulars flock here to enjoy warm conversation over freshly brewed coffees from around the world and an assortment of fresh pastries. The owner is warm, hard-working and trusting as customers go behind the counter to refill their cups while pondering their next reply to the friendly debate amongst friends. I encourage you to gather friends and begin your own tradition. Or come alone, as I, and take in the warm and inviting atmosphere and top notch coffee and fare.“
“I love Peet’s coffee; this place is very cozy. The amazing atmosphere allows you to feel as comfortable and relaxed as if you are on vacation. I prefer the Havana cappuccino here, with a light taste of cinnamon. Try it once, and you will never forget this delightful taste of life itself.“
“I used to go to Peet's on Laurel St. all the time, but they have competition! Groovy Goose is a new coffee spot in San Carlos, and their lattes are wonderful! Really good. The staff is young and friendly too. They could use a few more tables, but I'm happy to go and pick up a latte any day. They could also expand their pastry selection, but - don't tell Peet's - as for coffee, probably the best in San Carlos! I recommend.“
