Wish i got a picture of the full box! One of the vendors that we work with brought a variety box for us, & they were soo good! One of the sales guys usually brings in a box of donuts every friday for everyone nearby, but even he has to admit that these were way better! Soo fluffy & tasty, some were jelly filled, some were cream filled, even the glaze on them were just scrumptious. Can't give them a full 5 stars because i haven't been there yet so i cannot give a full review, but next time i'm in Redwood City i'll be sure to stop by & give an updated review!

First visit this morning. Giving myself thanks for the adventure: Staff Nicole was refreshingly friendly and reflected her taste for combining the Hawaiian hazelnut and vanilla bean flavored coffees. Great idea! When she described the crispy edges of the old fashioned style donut, i bought one. I had to return to thank her for her sharing. Thank you for the lasting reward for my first visit.

Love this place. It always has the freshest donuts and staff, while busy in the AMs, keep the line moving. Tons of regulars go to this place and there are no frills. Standard and solid donut house and they take credit cards for convenience. The main lady there is quite charming and has a comment about each donut!

I use to live nearby but I have still gone back to get doughnuts periodically. I know that the father, Mr Lee, sold the business to his son. I have the son and the new staff a few tries before writing this review. The old staff that was very personable and would give doughnut holes to the kids coming into the store. The old staff would make sure to put large orders in boxes versus putting all those doughnuts into individual bags. I ran into other people in line who were also disappointed. The selection of doughnuts was also pretty slim. I think Chuck's on Woodside is my new place.

Chocolate Old Fashioned donuts are my go to choice. Donut King in Redwood City is my new place. I usually have to travel 40 minutes for the creamy and pure chocolate flavor I want. This flavor after speaking with the owner is awesome. Made fresh like your Grandmother who makes the BEST Milk Chocolate Cookie.

I don't know. Just sad. Going for years, and hadn't gone in a while. Went Sunday and it was just weird. The second I walked in, RAP music was playing and immediately I heard "f**k" blah blah blah on the music. I was taken back. This very young girl was doing her homework and she waited on me. She was sweet as could be, helpful and just someone you want working for you. No one was in there but milk was in carton on counter and immediately I thought, definitely not touching that!I don't want to be greeted by vulgar lyrics when coming in a business so personally, I won't go back. That's just me. Sorry. But again, the young girl there was great.
It is next to the Cat Clinic . I loved the assortment of pastries!

Donut King is in a small plaza. There is a decent amount of parking in the front.The guy at the counter was super friendly! I asked for a glazed donut and he said they have fresh ones in the back so he got me that one which was really nice of him to do that. I also got a French cruller. In the bag he tossed in a few glazed donut holes which was awesome. They were warm and I thought tasted very fluffy. I liked them!I had a bite of the French cruller and thought it was decent but I liked the donut holes / glazed donut better! The cruller had a slightly weird taste/texture to it, and was incredibly sweet. I may or may not get it again but would probably get others!
