“I LOVE elote, so when we drove my Maizz I was excited and came back a week later hungry. I didn't know what to order since everything is essentially elote flavored. I went with the traditional corn on the cob (elote stick). It was covered in deliciousness, but it got all over my face as I ate it. Not a date food. My husband got the carne asada smothered elote fries. The fries were a undercooked, but the meat was delicious as we're all the flavorings. We also got to try the deep fried corn ribs, and those were my favorite.“

In other words, you can step up to a truck and minutes later be enjoying literally one of the best burritos in the world. Truly a silver lining of the modern world.

“For $16 in current times the burrito I had was a good value. Very big (enough for a second meal for me) and good quality. I loved the grilling of the shell to make it crispy. That said, having mayonnaise or some kind of creamy sauce on my fish burrito destroyed it for me.“

The rice and beans are excellent as well. They stand on their own being very tasty. Everything about Carnitas El Rincon is great, especially the service. Always a quick answer pleasant experience keeps me coming back again!

You can taste the cinnamon and the sugar. Put that together with the tacos. A perfect meal. Even though the outside looks a little sketchy. The food is authentic , tasty, and hardy. But if you tend to suffer from acid reflux or heartburn like i do, you have the option to order your taco/tortilla without any added grease. And the tacos are just as delicious. The green and red salsas are also fairey. The service is fast and pleasant. Tacos for two can get pricy. But it's worth it! 👍“

“Had my very first pupusa in my life and loved it. Although it doesn't look sexy delicious, it tastes great especially with the toasty crunchy cheese underneath. Someone recommended Karlita's along Woodside in Redwood City and they do a pupusa good! Takes about 10 minutes to make as they cook it fresh after ordering. Costs about 5.50. I suggest the pork and cheese and add jalapeno to you pupusa for some added kick.“

“I was doing my laundry next door and wandered over to see the menu. Chilaquiles being my most favorite healthy food in the universe, I consider myself a connessueir of saucy chips.
Aside from my delicious chilaquiles, the atmosphere on this very hot day was cool and inviting inside. The walls were painted a beautiful dappled orange and the art on those walls was cheerful and tropical. I wished to be transported back to Nayarit as sipped the most cold delicious sweet red drink that I can never spell or pronounce properly.
Mexican restaurants might shy away from making very pale, very awkward people like myself as spicy as they normally prepare dishes like Chilaquiles, so I do use a generous dousing of Tapatio on mine, but aside from that the dish was absolutely perfect. The cashier was extremely forgiving of my clumsy attempt at ordering in Spanish and I was so grateful for his bit of English helping me along.
5 stars. I will do laundry next door and eat Chilaquiles here again and again!“

“I have been going to this location since the late 90s, and have always ordered the quesadilla with spicy sauce and an Horchata. I love how they serve it; folded up into rectangle and then cut into pieces. It’s one of my favorite go to meals when I’m back on the Peninsula.“

“Love this place. Honestly, they screwed up my order and gave me some Carnitas Nachos which I cannot eat, but I gave to someone else they loved it. They were able to replace my meal and provide me Shrimp Nachos. “Located in a very small "strip mall" type location so I think some people may not give this place much consideration. But... I decided after a decade of living locally to go in and get a taco plate. The atmosphere is not the greatest but the food is amazing! And the portions are HUGE. I was able to get 3 meals out of one $15 plate there. Great flavor, perfect amount of hot sauces, they even put a giant jalapeno on top. I highly recommend. They also serve Breakfast.“

“I was pleasantly surprised with this place, the menu has combos and good deals to share with one o even 100s. There is some indoor seating and the entire place is neat. The service was good and the food was delicious. The carnitas where fresh and flavorful and the cueritos where soft and easy to eat they would just melt in my mouth. The combo for two came with two drinks (you can choose between agua frescas or soda) and with tortillas, beans and rice. The sides where ok but nothing out of the world, if you don't like them you can just get the carnitas but in my opinion the combos are a great deal compared to other places. 100% recommended!!!“
