“I won’t lie that when I first checked out this bar the customer service was a little dry; however, they must have learned from the constructive criticism of other reviews as it has improved from then till now. I’ve probably been to the bar a total of 8-10 times, and every time I’ve come it’s been a fun filled night. The drinks are exotically unique and every different drink I’ve had the chance to try leaves me with a tasteful impression. The atmosphere in the bar is also very cozy. I also love how well informed Shawna (owner) and the rest of the staff are. Their craftsmanship in cocktail making is a true passion as I can tell based off two cocktail classes I’ve taken so far. The classes themselves were extremely fun. I’d also like to point out that Roni’s customer service has been very attentive moving forward. I’ve enjoyed the conversations had and the over all engagement. I’m aiming to try their food/brunch spot next door soon and will gladly update my review if needed when I do.“

“Love this bar!! All of the bartenders are great. They have security at night. I wish they had a better variety of snacks. Some nuts or beef jerky, even Popcorn would be great! I'm thankful they carry Peanutbutter Screwball because It's all I like to drink. Although, it's unfortunate that about once a month they run out of Screwball. In the past it would be so difficult for me to order something because I didn't know a backup drink. I'm so happy that Shannon a daytime bartender shared her recipe for a drink she calls "prozac" in the little book up by the register. Now when they are out of Screwball I can order me a prozac because they have a special book for special drink recipes. I feel like they aim to please. “Easily the greatest bar in rural San Joaquin County. On Saturday night this bar was like something out of a Toby Keith song. You had the old timers, the college students, the farmers, the tourists coming back from Yosemite, and an after party for a local MMA fight in Modesto. The bar has a great selection of draft and bottled beers at a reasonable price. It has the homey and friendly feel of a local dive bar but has been recently renovated so it still looks pristine and nonthreatening. Check out this place if you are on Highway 120 and want to drink beers a safe distance away from Stockton.“
