“So I am not from Hughson and found this place online. Gotta say this place was so good and had friendly service. The food was soo delicious. I highly recommend it if you happen to be driving through Hughson and want a bite! I will definitely be visiting them again! ? 5 ⭐️ rating all the way!!!“
“The wait was a little long, the food serving was big! The service was even better! It was a bit loud inside but bearable, the food was amazing! I loved the steak and the chicken sandwich they had, fries were super fresh too, 10/10 recommend“
“At first we were hesitant to have dinner here, but everywhere you go in a Saturday night is always Jam Pack! This is a hidden gem for sur. It's not fancy, more like a diner vibe but very clean. The hostess and waitress were both very friendly and always kept checking g up on you mami g sure your drinks were topped off without even asking. Hubby ordered the grill salmon and I a lobster tail both cooked to perfection. The garlic shrimp was fresh and flavorful. Our least favorite item was the clams and mussels the were over cooked and lacked seasoning, compared to the devious garlic shrimp we ordered. I ordered a mojito I ask the hostess how they make them here soda verses sparkling water the bartender specifically came to our table and explained to me how they make it and how I would I like to have it he would do it. Needless to say it was perfection! Most defiantly going back again. This will be our new date spot the service was amazing, the place was clean and the food was fresh and delicious! We are so glad we found our new to go place.“
“Myself and four fiends were on a road trip down Hwy 99 and just happened upon George's as it popped up on our map app. What a welcome surprise it turned out to be. We ordered from the lunch menu because the regular looked to be too much. I had the Prime Rib Stacker sandwich. Price was very reasonable and the food was the bomb. Lynna was our waitress. She was very pleasant and took good care of us. She even offered to split our checks for us, which we were not really expecting. Big thumbs up.“
“I wasn't sure what to expect from a place called "House of Beef". The name definitely makes the mind wonder. Upon entering I was shocked to learn that they have a deli. Pleasantly shocked. Upon being seated the shock continued. In an age of inflation everything was reasonably priced. In addition to the meal I opted for a side salad from the salad bar...it's all you can eat? From the prices to the deli to the salad bar I felt like I was in a time warp or some alternate reality. Did I mention the service was great? I think 3 different people checked on us, that's 2 additional people other than our server. Again-alternate reality? Places like this don't exist anymore. This place is definitely a must. I almost don't want to rave about it, keep it a secret out of fear of its popularity growing and never being able to get in - but they deserve their accolades. We are in a period of hyper inflation and some restaurants believe they can do the bare minimum while still charging high. Great food. Great service. Will definitely be returning and bringing friends.“
“It was a good time. Porterhouse steak with mushroom sauce and lobster tail, French onion soup, chicken bacon mushrooms with a honey mustard sauce, mac and cheese, blooming onion, bread with butter, XX beer, raspberry ice tea . $140 including tip.“
“We come here for happy hour, cheap $5 drinks and you can get 2 tacos for only $5, sliders and fries only/$6, a full steak dinner with sides for only $15!! You can't beat the prices and the food is good. It has an old west cowboy theme which is fun. It's pretty quiet except when there's football games going on, then it can get rowdy at the bar .“
