Staff is friendly. The venue is nicely decorated. There are large private party rooms. The menu has a variety of classic dishes to exquisite items. Great location for small or large parties.

First time coming here to order a side of rice which came out to $2.50 because I just didn’t want to cook at home. I pull out a credit card to pay and the greeter at the front of the restaurant gives me a hard time and says “omg for 2.50 only, you don’t have cash?” She made a big deal for nothing. Terrible customer service. Take it up with the credit card companies not me. In 2023 most people do not carry cash, for safety and convenience. I will NOT be coming back.

Ordered online at 12:07, got there and it was busy like most dim sum places.Got there at pick up time 12:38 They had the order but waited till I came to pay to process the order. So I'm thinking maybe 10-15 minutes, no, took about 30 minutes and I had to flag someone down to help me check. I didn't leave the place till 1:30. Food was kind of cold when I got it, I let it go. Sui Mai, chicken feet, turnip cake and bbq pork bun was tasty. Base on this experience I have learned not to order online and you have a better chance going in.

Had dinner with my family last Friday and boy is this place fancy. We arrived around 5:30 and it was pretty empty. There are private rooms and apparently, that's the place to be because our server kept disappearing into those rooms with some amazing dishes of stir-fried clams, crab, and whatnot. But, back to my dinner: we ordered a sampler platter: bbq pork, duck and roast pork with cracklin' skin. The center portion was goma wakame seaweed salad, stir fried string beans with (very salty) minced pork; beef shortribs that were tasty, but kind of tasted like pork (it was definitely beef), fish filet with tender choy sum, seafood soup, and one other dish. If you want steamed fish, it will be market price (pricey, no surprise). Generally, the food was very flavorful and well executed, espcially the veggies and roast pork -- the string beans were the best! I would say some of their dishes are not what I'm used to from other Chinese restaurants flavor profile-wise (not that it's a bad thing), so I'll have to come back to try some of their seafood dishes. Service was pretty good. Our waiter was dressed up and wore gloves. The place has a hotel banquet hall vibe. Seems this place is popular for dimsum as I've heard, so I'll have to come back during the day and see how that goes. Will be back!

Atmosphere is like the chinese restaurants in the 90s but they updated a pole with a cool LED screen. For some reason, a lot of smokers smoke in front of this restaurant, which is not very attractive. Quality of food is okay, prices are decent compared to other dim sum restauarants but dim sum in general is not cheap anymore. Service was ok but for unexpected requests like missed orders, it was very slow. 1 of the items that we ordered took a very long time. Closer to noon, it became crowded and people were waiting for tables. Rating is a mid 3 stars, it's another option to come to for dim sum.

Cheap, a takeaway is only 10 yuan. The takeout department is my favorite place to go.

They are currently running a promo ... if you buy at least three dim sum dishes they will give a lobster e-mein for $10. I've been here about 4 times in the last two months. The ha how and siu mai are large. The ha gow are large but the skin is a little thick. The truffle on the siu mai was meh. I also liked the French style bbq bao which is like Tim ho wan's but not quite as good. The runny lava yolk pineapple bun is good too. I don't recommend the zha Leung as there are only 6 pieces and wasn't crispy . The bean curd wrap and shrimp cheung fun were good. A solid spot to go to.

The Blooming VIP restaurant offers a diverse menu featuring both dim sum and lunch and dinner options. The establishment maintains a good atmosphere, complete with private rooms for reservation. Notably, the menu lacks visual aids, requiring patrons to mark their dim sum choices on a provided sheet. Unlike traditional setups, there are no dim sum carts circulating the restaurant. It's advisable to exercise caution with the tea service, as the reused tea tends to darken significantly, resembling the color of coke. Despite this peculiarity, the overall dining experience is positive, with commendable food quality and attentive waitstaff promptly replacing dirty plates.

One of the more cleaner dim sum restaurants I've been to. The interior is very nice and the servers are friendly. As for the food, it is definitely on the pricier side. All the dishes tasted fresh and apparently everything is steamed to order. I thought the siu mai was good, but the black truffle on top is unnecessary. We ordered the famed lobster noodles for only 10.99, and it was pretty tasty and a generous portion. My favorite dishes were the tofu skin wrapped with meat and the beef rice noodle roll (cheung fun). Overall, I would recommend this spot if you're in the area for dim sum, but it is not my all-time favorite.

$50 for two. Remember to call ahead for lobster availability. Special right now $10.99 lobster noodle (its ok).

My husband and I went to Blooming VIP restaurant after seeing the post from San Gabriel Eat.I have to say that we were very disappointed because of bad management!!We ordered 4 dim sum + lobsters noodles and 2 beers.Dim sum came halfway, then waiter came and said they will charge tea even we order beer inorder to get lobster noodles (we think that's a joke, they don't honor their ad). So I looked to a table next to us, and noticed besides a few piece of good lobster, the noodle don't look appetizing. So we added xiao long Bao instead. Two orders were delicious but the rest are not good. It was the worst xiao long boa I ever had in my life.
