“Wagyu House was excellent! George was a great! He was helpful in telling us what was good and what was not. All of his recommendations were great.”
“Yangmani Korean BBQ delivers an incredible dining experience with its high-quality meats and flavorful tofu soup. The marinated short ribs are tender and delicious, while the tofu soup is rich and perfectly spiced. The fresh banchan and attentive service make the meal even more enjoyable. For a cozy and satisfying Korean BBQ experience, Yangmani is a great choice!”
“Compared to a few years ago, a few of the menu classics from Kawasanja are still there! And then the surprise is that there are a lot of new dishes too!”
“A place where I could soothe my stomach with Korean food when I felt tired of American food.
There is a 90 minute time limit
You can freely order from the menu during any given time. However, the menu may be limited depending on the type of set requested.
While we were eating, we had birthday parties at 4 tables (including ours haha).
You can hear Kpop and taste a variety of meats in a lively atmosphere.
The waiting line may be long during meal times, so be sure to make a reservation before visiting.”
“The whole food experience was amazing, I have wanted to come and dine at a seafood restaurant that would serve seafood this way. We came in a group of five people and everyone loved it. We got their big portion that serves four people For a 160 They gave us a pound of shrimps for free, and the sides for the seafood were super complementing the whole experience. I now understand why the line was so long and crazy! Food is definitely worth the weight. At least they put you on a list and keep you updated via sms.”

“It was the greatest shabu shabu experience I ever had.
Phenomenal food, just melt in your mouth ? ? ??
Awesome services ?
And I love the vibe.
It's definitely my favorite restaurant”
“Excellent service ! We ordered the large beef combo for 2 and it was more than enough. Very good quality.”
“Exploring new places for hot pot and picked this one to try. The selections of vegetables and seafoods were abundant. It’s included with the meat choice of combo. From the basic to the waygu beef premium. Order your cuts of meat through the servers and the rest is at the cooler for your picking. Mix your own dipping sauce at one of the stations. They have small selection of dessert items, very basic, fried milk bun served with condensed milk. It was a bit dry since it was sitting out for quite sometime, the red bean filling sesame balls were a bit stale. Service was great! We went there around 5:30pm on a weekend night and there was no waiting.
Vegetarian options: One side of the cooler has a large selection of vegetables and tofu for vegetarians.”

“A legit Hawaiian food spot, I haven't had a good garlic shrimp plate in CA until now (it reminds me of Giovanni's shrimps). Also, I tried their crunchy Gojujang fried chicken and beef ribs and they were delicious. I would definitely recommend these dishes as a first timer here and wash it down with Dole pineapple slushy.”

“Oden soup is super delicious & not spicy which is original style- i am Japanese/Korean - because LA chef came this location??
Fried chicken smaller than LA Hanshin pocha so more good & yammy - in old Korean / Japanese style we prefer Hen rather than chicken. DIY rice ball so so good !! Tomato Eggs is also good( hard to make it in Home)but always tomato sauce side is better. I can’t eat spicy foods because Paik’s spicy foods r really spicy so not try with me.
Vegetarian options: Many Seafood menu but spicy
Parking: Lunch time weekday is ok
But dinner time & weekend crazy parking”
“I tried their BOSSAM and Seafood Pancakes. Both were delicious!! The side food was so good too. Especially the kimchi. I feel like their foods are very tasty and fresh. I want to come back soon again.
The service was okay, there was only one person handling the hall. And we had to wait a little. Not saying it was bad but it could be better if there was another person helping.”
“Super yummy… family favorite! I love the string beans and the fried hunan spicy pork! The service might vary because we are frequent customers but they are always kind and welcoming! The interior is pretty standard, didn’t really notice anything glaring the many times i’ve been here.”
“Yong moon lu is the best. I would go everyday if I could! The yangjang pi was the best I’ve ever had with just enough spice from the mustard. It was delicious as leftovers too (the portions were huge - we had leftovers for days). The fried chicken was really good too. Even better than the sweet and sour pork, which is typically my favorite. We were so full but still enjoyed the jjajangmyeon and jjampong. The candied sweet potato they gave at the end as a free dessert was absolutely delightful. I wish they sold it! It’s so good. Not too sweet (the best Asian compliment). The staff are extremely fast, helpful, and very hard working. We got great service. Can’t wait to go again! Try to go early because they have a huge wait but.. it’s also worth the wait. Parking lot is small-ish so find parking elsewhere on the street”

“For those who live in the area, this place has some of the best wings. They're good sized wings and the sauces taste great. The in-house made soy-garlic has good garlic flavor too. Buffalo sauce has flavor while not being too salty. Onion rings seem like the non-frozen kind too”
“We often buy their raw skewers and grill them at home. The beef and mutton are very fresh and the flavor is just right. It’s suitable for all ages! My daughter likes Orleans chicken crispy bones, chicken wings, and toasted bread the most. It’s the best skewers I’ve ever eaten. I recommend this restaurant to everyone, it’s delicious?”
“This has been my go-to comfort food spot whenever I miss home. The 香菇滷肉飯 (mushroom braised pork rice), 雞排飯 (baked bonless chicken rice), and 米糕 (mi kao) are all tasty—portions are just right. If you’re a fan of stinky tofu, it’s a must-try here too. Definitely worth visiting!”
“My first experience was at the Tustin location, and had to come bring my cousin who lives in the area so she can experience the gloriousness that is AYCE skewer hotpot here at MLBB.
Despite it being 90°F outside, we still continued our plan to eat here. It was fine as the AC was on.
We came in for lunch and got the a la carte broth - half bone broth and half spicy butter oxtail. We also ordered the AYCE meats on the menu and enjoyed a variety of the skewer options.
However, I would stay away from the spicy broth if you can't handle it, as, even for me, who can hold their spice pretty decently, the mild option was so spicy, my cousin and I were dying, but it was still so good that we continued eating.
There wasn't much staff, but they did their job well and explained things for us and had good service.
I absolutely loved the retro street vibes in the restaurant, as well as the vintage posters of popular celebrities in Taiwan.
Overall, it's a really great experience and will definitely come back.”
“I'm not a foodie by any means, but this place throughly impressed me. I ordered the omurice with corn soup and fried chicken. The portion sizes was plenty for me and everything was really flavorful.
I would especially recommend the fried chicken. Each piece is huge compared to the typical karaage style chicken.
Would love to see this restaurant up in norcal!”
“If you want to drink Korean soup, this restaurant is definitely the first choice. It tastes very good. Although there are only four side dishes, they all taste good. The purple rice is also delicious. The highlight is definitely the big pot of beef bones, potatoes and Rice cake, tastes very good, but the price is a bit expensive”

“This place is absolutely amazing!! The food is so good and the people working there are the most friendliest I've ever met!!! I'm definitely coming back here for more food!!! 5 stars!!!”

“Very good tasting experience! The food they provided is defintaly totally worth the price, and the boss are always very kind, they've share a lot interesting story with us. When you got time definitely should give a try!!! BTW, it's also pet friendly, they'll assign a place close to the front gate which will allow you to bring your pets and not bother other customer.”
“Pickled Fish: The fish is so tender that it melts in your mouth, the sauerkraut is crispy and appetizing, the soup base is sour and spicy but not choking at all, every bite is full of sincerity! I especially like the light numbing aroma, paired with hot rice, it is simply a healing tool in winter!
Guobao Pork: Under the golden and crispy skin is tender and juicy tenderloin. The ratio of sweet and sour sauce is just right. You can hear the "click" when you bite into it! The texture is crispy on the outside and tender on the inside. It is definitely a textbook interpretation of Northeastern cuisine!
Home-style tofu: The tofu is fried until it is charred on the outside and tender on the inside. It absorbs the fragrance of the sauce and is smooth and tender in the mouth without losing the bean flavor. Paired with the crispness of fungus and green pepper, it is full of texture, simple but full of homey taste, and it is a perfect meal!
The three dishes in this restaurant each have their own merits. The taste is authentic and the portions are substantial. You will become a fan after eating it once! Highly recommended to friends who love food~”
“Came to Dun Huang for our birthday dinner as per my sister's recommendations. Their menu is quite extensive and we opted to order several dishes to eat family style; love the convenience of ordering through the app; which allows all members of your party to add their desired dishes. All the dishes were well seasoned and very delicious. My favorite dishes were the whole fish and the cucumber appetizer. Will definitely be coming back to try their other dishes.”
“On our way from LAX to Palm Springs after 10:00 pm we were looking for a quick bite to eat. Drove by this restaurant and figured we would try it.The experience was one we will absolutely recommend, regarding both food and true Chinese culture. No where near what I was expecting. We had the lamb and also beef skewers and fried rice. An appetizer was brought out that we did not order, as it was included, which was right away different and tasted unlike any other soybean and peanut I’ve experienced. It was delicious! The lamb and beef was cooked to exact request and was also delicious! While we have dined at many Chinese restaurants throughout the United States, as we travel extensively and dine out regularly this surf past any, and all other restaurants, we’ve dined in for this type of food. Here’s the difference this was not Chinese food that has been Americanized in most Chinese restaurants. This was true Chinese prepared food.I truly believe you would have to travel to China to get this quality of food and culture.I will also say that we spent 3/4 of our time speaking to Cindy, whose father owns the restaurant which caters to home cooked events at homes, so this is not their primary source of how they deliver the product to the public. The hour and 15 minutes we spent there was made so much more enjoyable as Cindy walked us through the culture the food and Wyatt tasted different because it was truly cooked to Chinese standard. So I have to say, was it the food that was the greatest experience, or Cindy‘s presence and her willingness to have an open conversation about why they do it the way they do, and enlightened us about the culture of the food,I strongly recommend anyone that wants to find out what real Chinese cuisine is and how it is cooked and prepared in China. You realize very quick that this is not your drive-through, Chinese pick up takeout, that we are accustomed to here in the United States. This is a must try for the food if nothing else and when you’re there I recommend you ask for Cindy. After visiting with Cindy, she made it a total experience for an awesome evening of culture that was absolutely excellent. It is always nice to be able to understand and realize the actual culture of cuisine you are eating. Cindy, she made an experience of great food, a completely enjoyable experience. That was absolutely excellent off the charts. Cindy made it a 2 for 1 bonus to the evening. We will absolutely be driving from Palm Springs back to the restaurant. It was absolutely enjoyable. Not to mention the cost was nowhere near what we expected. It was almost like we ordered off a lunch menu for cost and the food that was delivered, and was ample to feed 4 instead of just the two of us.Thank you Cindy for an enjoyable evening and thank your father for being an unbelievable chef. The experience was one we will fondly look back on and make sure we repeat again.”
“Lots of free snacks! Recommend the sesame dumplings and glutinous rice dumplings! The spicy hot pot tastes very good, the best Chongqing hot pot I have had in years! Recommend the pork belly, lamb shoulder, loin fillet and fish fillet. Big praise for Xi’an waitress!”
“TL;DRWould recommend this place if you are looking for a Chinese restaurant with delicious options and your party has people with various dietary choices. This place is AWESOME. Due note that I'm writing from a position that whenever I go out to eat, I have to keep in mind the vegetarian, vegan, and meat options. They said they can provide MORE vegetarian/vegan options if you call ahead and let them know. I haven't done this and each time I went in, they've been able to make at least 4-5 vegan dishes. So good, I always have to take leftovers home. They might not promote themselves as a vegan/vegetarian restaurant but the head chef used to work for a vegetarian restaurant for almost a decade so he has tons of experience.”
“It’s so delicious. It’s good quality and reasonably priced. I’ll repurchase the pork belly chicken endlessly. Thank you, boss. I hope the restaurant can keep going. There are so few restaurants in Los Angeles that I can keep coming back to. Most of them are blocked after I go there once. I have been eating here for more than three years and the taste remains the same.”
“Although there are so many authentic Chinese restaurants in the Rowland Heights area, This place is on the TOP. Beware of the huge portions though, don’t order too many entrees because you can’t finish them all! My favourites are clam soup and hot Chili pork, and the price is pretty reasonable too. I also like the fact they use portable wireless device for ordering and CC.”
“Been coming here a lot recently. The food is good and made fairly quickly, and the atmosphere of the restaurant is nice. Not the typical sterile environment, lots of decor.
The staff is super friendly, they just need to make sure the prices listed online reflect the in-store price, which it currently does not.”
“Super yummy… family favorite! I love the string beans and the fried hunan spicy pork! The service might vary because we are frequent customers but they are always kind and welcoming! The interior is pretty standard, didn’t really notice anything glaring the many times i’ve been here.”
“Very modern indoor environment! Have big screen with karaok songs, super relax ! And authentic Chinese style bbq food. Definitely recommend !”

“All of my experiences at this Carl’s Jr have been incredible not only because of the food but also because of the service especially at later times of night one of their workers Abel was extremely helpful kind taking my order and got my food to me in a quick and easy transaction I definitely recommend this spot.
Parking: Tons of parking easy to get in and out of the lot great spot”
“tasty! Wish we could have ordered more but there were only two of us. We ordered the signature grilled fish, hot pot bullfrog, twice-cooked pork, mapo tofu, and fish-flavored eggplant.
It was very well done and I was happy to take the leftovers home.
, everything was so delicious, the contrast of flavors was so perfect. Recommend this restaurant”

“Complex, authentic Korean flavors made with traditional p ingredients. A humble porridge could become a pleasantly enjoyable experience. I ordered bulnakji porridge today and instead of using ground beef or cheap meat, they used a good quality meat and then they sautéed the marinated bulgogi in butter. mmm. Chives/buchu they used were fresh and green. So was the octopus. Often times you taste the fishiness but this octopus or nakji had a very clean flavor. The venue and the food they served were very clean. I highly recommend this place.”
“First time trying Sul & Beans today with hubby and daughter. I've had shaved ice plenty of times before, but I'd never had it Korean-style! We are definitely coming back because there are so many flavors to try! Service was super quick, and everything was delicious! Big thumbs up!”
“I stopped by today before i got my nails done!!! Best decision i made…….! Honestly this little shop is a vibe. The owner which is who attended me was hands down so welcoming! His customer service was top tier!! It’s hard to find that these days. I definitely found my new coffee shop and look forward to trying their ramen. Definitely recommend 10/10”
“The breads are huge and stuffed with delicious and flavorful flavors. They have try outs with led us to buy even more since they were all so yummy! When we were checking out the lady let us know if we buy one more we would get one for free and she was so helpful and patient! I highly recommend the coconut and pumpkin! The bread were all so soft and fresh! There’s also a coffee and chicken place in the same store. Each bread was around $4-5 on average but the size was bigger than most places like 85.”

Drive-Thru Restaurants
“We heard about the grand opening from Rowland Heights Buzz. Love the food preparation flow. Spacious sitting areas top with high ceiling and glass window. Impossible Breakfast Sandwich and Frozen Pineapple Passion Fruit Lemonade are perfect delight for a hot summer day lunch.”
“One of my favorite Korean restaurants. Great food and excellent service.
Kid-friendliness: Yes
Wheelchair accessibility: Yes”
“Hit the drive thru later in evening, service was fast. Thai tea was not overly sweet and the melon based drink we ordered was unique and refreshing. Macaroons were decent for quick food, but my comparison is from French pastry shops so am a tad biased. Prices were very reasonable for Cali.”
“Features: Came to this restaurant yesterday,I lived in Guangzhou for 20 year,Finally find the best rice noodroll in LA,it taste very authentic as the original location in gz.Super delicious rice noodle roll and congee place ?Fresh rice noodle roll, terrific beef, and chili sauce with garlic is impressively fresh (Highly recommend try it with nice noodle if you like spicy)? The congee also quite good, love their preserved egg with pork congee?Definitely love this place and will come back.”
“Place was really busy late on a Sunday night. Interaction with staff is minimal - you scan a QR code at your table to see the menu, order online, and they bring it to you as the kitchen has it ready. Food was good, although not as good as it was when we last visited 2 months ago.”
“If you’re looking for a truly unique dining experience, East Town Yard Fried Chicken is a must-visit. From the moment you step inside, you’re transported to a nostalgic 70s-era China with the restaurant's quirky decor. The red brick walls and enamel plates evoke a sense of vintage charm, while the slogan wall adds a playful touch, making it a perfect blend of culture and creativity.
Now, let's talk about the food—this place is a game-changer. The northern-style stir-fried chicken is unlike anything you've had before. Tender chicken, packed with flavor, is stir-fried to perfection—not deep-fried—allowing the natural taste of the meat to shine through. The spices are perfectly balanced, offering a delightful kick without overwhelming the palate. Every dish here feels authentically Chinese, with rich flavors that are both comforting and exciting.
What truly sets this place apart is the attention to detail in every aspect—from the food to the ambiance. The staff is friendly and welcoming, and you can tell they take pride in what they serve. Whether you're a fan of traditional Chinese cuisine or looking to try something new, East Town Yard Fried Chicken offers a memorable dining experience you won’t soon forget. Highly recommend!”
“Great service, accommodating servers even with a packed place of people”
“We got the bulgogi pizza with the gold crust, garlic chicken and cheese corn. Everything was made fresh to order. We waited about 15-20 mins before we got seated at our table, the cool thing is they let you pre-order ahead of time. Food was delicious!”
Cheap Eats
“Ordered the wonton noodle soup with medium spice level. The spice level was quite high, medium was plenty for me. Broth was flavorful, and the noodles and wontons were good. Portion size was good for the price. It definitely fulfilled my craving for a hot soup on a cold day.”
“So many choices of teas, everything was brewed fresh for the cup.
Got the dragonwell milk tea and the hojicha milk tea. The dragonwell had a subtle woody flavor, I'm glad I did half sweet bc the sweetness might have masked it. The hojicha was very good, probably one of the best hojicha milk teas I've had.
The barista with the red and orange short hair was so incredibly kind and welcoming!!”
“I love this place. I'm so glad we found it. The broth in the pho is so flavorful. Had me go back twice in one weekend lol the man who i assume is the owner is such a sweetheart and always has such a welcoming smile when you walk in. Definitely recommend this place.”
“This little bakeshop is all about making delicious pastries, cakes, Taiwanese sandwiches and snacks. It's my go-to place for a quick n' yummy breakfast or tea party pastries. it's a traditional bakeshop, nothing fancy. But they know what they are doing. Their owner, Leo and I created a lot beautiful and delicious wedding cakes together. He is very easy to work with and will go the extra miles to meet your request. They are specialized in fresh cream cake with fresh fruit ingredients. And their price is really reasonable, too. This is definitely a hidden jewel in our neighborhood. Check out some of the wedding cakes we designed together.”
“Shout out to the employees who work on Christmas. All of the boba stores near my house were close and R&B was the only one open so I give them a try. Love their Cookie Monster. That’s so so good. It was crowded when I came but my order still came fast. Employees are helpful and nice. They are selling Sonny Angle and Smiski guys. Recommend the Cookie Monster with 50% sugar. I will come back with my friends”
“Friday 8/9/24 Dinner at Golden Noodle & Grill in Rowland Heights. I’ve ordered #38 Roasted chicken on tomato rice. It is so crispy outside flavorful and tender inside; so delicious. This restaurant is a hidden gem which makes delicious Vietnamese foods with reasonable prices.
Long, service staff, was friendly and attentive to customers.
Van Huynh, restaurant owner & chef, has a great personality and cooks delicious Vietnamese foods. Dishes includes pho, broken rice, vermicelli, Chinese noodle soup, chow fun & mein, congee, Banh mi, Vietnamese deserts, milk shakes, and smoothies; all at a reasonable price. She took her time to greet me and even strike a pose for a photo which is posted on her Google map restaurant. Thank you Van!
The restaurant has nice decorations, clean, well lit, and well air conditioned on this warm day.
I recommend trying out this restaurant.

“Just my daughter-in-law and me, spent our quality time well and satisfied. They were so delicious, except the pickles. We both planned to be back again.”

“Pilaf and yogurt are good. The noodles mixed with cucumber and oily pork are delicious! The noodles are as good as those eaten locally in Xinjiang. The vegetables are made with good ingredients and fried just right. The slivers are chewy and chewy. The portion is a bit too small and you have to pay for extra noodles. The mutton kebabs were just so-so. The service attitude is very good, I will come again. Overall, it is a very good Xinjiang style restaurant?

“A legit Hawaiian food spot, I haven't had a good garlic shrimp plate in CA until now (it reminds me of Giovanni's shrimps). “Discounting the hype caused by TT causing insane lines, it's good quality tea but a little...kitschy? The moment you want to order tea rather than a milk tea/tea latte, which is my preference, the tea tastes over-steeped. They go on about their unique brewer which seems so unnecessarily large for what it does and you can't adjust it based on whether or not you're adding milk or not?
The workers here are basically on an assembly line, but in a way where it doesn't feel optimized for the space and output. If you're going for that method, go all the way. I do like that they at least switch people around so it's not a whole hours shift of open container, measure tea, close container, open container, measure tea, close container, etc.
So boba in most boba places is on a level that's so good now, I expect any boba place to have stellar boba (gone are the days of shrugging off the powdery hard center), and the boba here is...just okay? I don't know, I can't quite place a finger on why I feel that way. Is the size smaller than other places? Whatever it is, I end up ordering the grass jelly here which is very, very good.”
“The food was really good, especially the spicy pork belly. It was the best meat I think. And their cilantro onion salad is really tasty too.
Staff is very kind and helpful and it doesn’t take long to get the attention of a server and get help as well which is awesome.
The only bad thing is ventilation. It gets really smoky eventually when it’s busy and the smoke stings your eyes a lot so it eventually got really uncomfortable. We asked if it was ok to open the back door we were next to in order to clear the smoke. They should just have the back door always open since their ventilation is having some issues unsure if it’s unable to keep up or what exactly but they should just keep the back door open and it completely solves the problem. I’d rather deal with my legs being chilly from time to time than my eyes burning and stinging and being unable to see
Kid-friendliness: I really appreciated that there are high chairs available and the staff was extremely kind and even though my baby made a mess throwing food on the floor when I went to go pick it up they told me it was ok that they sweep the floors anyway and I don’t have to do that. So it’s very family friendly and they have lots of food options that my 11 month old could eat too which was awesome since sometimes it can be difficult to find something that is baby friendly since he doesn’t have all his teeth”
“I've been here at least 5 times and will definitely come back. Try to get early at weekend cuz the line can be quite long. I have to say though it's not the best dimsum I've had in Socal but given how many Chinese family went here, I say it's just my personal opinion and majority of folks woulf agree the food was delicious
Parking: Free parking but be careful driving around cuz you know, asian people don't know how to drive”
“We visited 9292 KBBQ in Rowland Heights with friends, and wow—what a deal! Lunch is just $19.99, and dinner is $25.99 for AYCE KBBQ. Honestly, for this price, we weren’t expecting much, but the meat quality blew us away! The pork belly and beef brisket were especially amazing—highly recommend!
They also have a self-serve meat bar and a hot food section with a great variety. Everything was fresh and delicious, and their japchae and tteokbokki were so good! On top of that, the space is huge, clean, and super comfortable, and the staff was really friendly. 🥰AYCE KBBQ at this price? Unreal. We’re definitely coming back. Highly recommend!!👍👍”
“Gui BBQ Restaurant & Bar offers an amazing BBQ experience with fresh, high-quality meats and delicious sides. The atmosphere is lively, and the staff are attentive and friendly, making the meal even more enjoyable. Highly recommend for anyone looking for great food and a fun dining experience!”
“The service is prompt and friendly. I went during their dim summer hour and we ordered up because everything looked so delicious. We were not disappointed with anything. The food certainly satisfied us. This is one of the best places for dim sum in Southern California. We drove from Orange County just to eat here.”
“Food and atmosphere were great but the service was what made me and my boyfriend's experience
memorable. I believe our server's name was Melo and he was very attentive/easy to talk to. Will be back soon!”
