“Compared to a few years ago, a few of the menu classics from Kawasanja are still there! And then the surprise is that there are a lot of new dishes too!”
“Me and my wife went to yesterday on The 151 day before Father's Day add. Reservations service is fantastic and the food is better than the Boiling crab. Add the crab shack And any Other crab places I give Them a rating Five Plus”
“I had an outstanding experience at this Korean BBQ restaurant. The service was excellent and the staff were attentive, friendly, and quick to help with grilling and recommendations. The quality of the meats was truly impressive: fresh, flavorful, and beautifully marbled, making every bite memorable. The side dishes were equally delicious, with a great variety and perfect seasoning that complemented the meal perfectly.
Overall, this spot delivers a top-tier Korean BBQ experience. Highly recommended!”
“I recently tried Chubby Skewers and overall had a pretty good experience. They have a great selection of meats, and at $1.20 per skewer, it’s easy to try a variety without spending too much.
That said, some of the meats were a bit on the tougher side, which took away from the experience a little. But not everything was a miss, the grilled oysters and scallops were definitely highlights and tasted really good.
I also liked that you can order from the menu if you want something more than skewers. Overall, it’s a solid spot if you’re looking for variety at a reasonable price, with a few standout items worth coming back for.”

“**4.3/5 🌟🌟🌟🌟✨ Uncle Chili Rowland Heights: Bold Spice That Packs Heat, But Oil Weighs It Down**
Tucked in the always-busy Hong Kong Plaza on Colima Road, **Uncle Chili** draws crowds with its fiery Sichuan signage and the constant aroma of chilies and numbing peppercorns spilling out the door 🌶️🔥. The interior is bright and modern—clean tables, big menu boards with mouthwatering photos, and a quick-moving counter setup. Service is genuinely solid: staff are attentive, explain spice levels patiently (1-5, with 3 already serious), and food arrives lightning-fast even during peak dinner rushes.
The **spicy dishes** deliver on heat— the boiled fish in green pepper sauce swims in vibrant red oil with explosive mala kick, tender slices soaking up that tongue-numbing buzz. The mapo tofu is silky and fragrant with Sichuan pepper, while the grilled whole fish crackles with cumin and chili rub. If you crave that face-tingling spice high, Uncle Chili absolutely satisfies; the flavors pop and the heat lingers just right.
That said, authenticity takes a hit for me. The oil pools are generous (classic Sichuan style), but here it feels heavier and slightly refined rather than the rustic, fermented depth I’ve had in Chengdu or even Flushing spots. After a few bites, the oiliness overshadowed the nuances, and I couldn’t finish portions I normally would—points deducted there, even though everything looked and felt clean.
Still, for Rowland Heights, it’s one of the bolder Sichuan options, great for spice chasers who don’t mind the grease factor. Solid execution, fair portions, and friendly vibes keep it in rotation. I’ll return, but probably stick to drier dishes next time or ask for less oil. Worth trying if you’re in the area and need a mala fix.”
“It’s been getting quite cold outside (for Californian standards), which is the perfect time for sukiyaki. We’ve had Yumiyaki on our radar for a while now, and since I just subscribed to a Chubby Plus membership, we figured that now was as good a time as any to give them a try. You get a choice between shabu shabu or sukiyaki broth, and of course, we chose the sukiyaki. I personally prefer sukiyaki to traditional hot pot due to the sweeter broth. If you like your broth less sweet, you can ask your server to add more dashi. We also opted for the diamond menu, which gives each person a slice of A5 Ribeye. Your server will grill this initial premium piece of meat for you in a classic yakisuki style. First, they will grease the grill with a cube of fat and sprinkle a light amount of salt. Then, they pour a shallow amount of sukiyaki broth and briefly swish the meat in it before having you dip it in a saucer of raw, beaten egg and enjoy the rich, silky, indulgent bite. It was delicious - comparable to when I had it in Kyoto and much better than when I had it at Niku X. The diamond tier is worth it for that one bite alone. Even though I’ve already experienced it, I would get it again on my next visit.
After this presentation, your server will fill up the pot with the rest of the sukiyaki broth, and the rest of the cooking is up to you. Diamond tier gives you unlimited access to the A5 Chuck Roll, which Gold tier only gets 1 piece of. It’s very rich and fatty, and to maximize your enjoyment for the night, you should have multiple trays of it, especially because each order of the A5 Chuck Roll only comes with 2 pieces. The Wagyu Brisket was good, but a little outshined by other meats on the menu. For people that prefer something more lean, the Full Blood M9+ Shoulder Cut (a new menu item, I believe) is an excellent option.
In addition to beef, Yumiyaki also offers a selection of seafood dishes to complement your meal, The Diamond tier gives you a choice from their 4 specialty dishes. We all chose the Otoro bowl with caviar, chopped Otoro served over a small bed of rice and a dollop of caviar on top. The Otoro was decent. I’m not a huge fan of presenting Otoro chopped because I feel like it takes away from the texture. It was still enjoyable, but I’ve definitely had better. I think if you’re going to have it chopped, a touch of freshness from chives or something would’ve been nice. Classic nigiri is available in AYCE fashion. We stuck to the salmon and bluefin tuna and had no complaints there. Diamond tier gives you additional access to the wagyu nigiri with foie gras and wagyu nigiri with caviar. They were good, but I would’ve liked more caviar and foie gras on each piece. Raw scallops, among other seafood items, are available to everyone in the buffet area as well, and they were delicious after simmering in our broth (please don’t eat those raw).
Service, however, was a little rocky. For the most part, our server was nice, got our meat out quickly, and frequently checked up on us, but sometimes seemed absent minded. Sometimes when I talked to this person, I wasn’t sure if they were paying attention to me. They also forgot to apply my Chubby Plus discounts. I’m glad I double checked my receipt, because I paid a hefty price for that membership, and I would hope I got all the benefits from it. We also had to ask for some things multiple times, such as refills on eggs and the receipt. The restaurant is quite small and we were among the last guests of the night, so I don’t understand why the service was so splotchy even though the restaurant was not very busy.
Aside from the occasional rough patches, I thoroughly enjoyed my time at Yumiyaki and think that it is one of the better Chubby Group restaurants. I loved the yakisuki presentation and enjoyed the A5 Ribeye. The sukiyaki broth was so delicious. I would definitely come back to Yumiyaki and recommend it to my family and friends.”

“Brandon was our server and he was so nice, so funny, and explained everything to us loved it!! The wall decor is awesome, they even had robots serving your side dishes! The Diamond Tier was awesome with grade A5 the dry aged wagyu was melt in your mouth good! Just as good as what we had in Japan. Brandon cooked them up for us and we enjoyed talking with him. Celebrating my husband's birthday they sing and have some ice creamsicles ube or honeydew flavors. They do have drink stations, some extra food stations, a dessert station all of which you can walk around to grab yourself. The Otoro thick cut and black pepper beef cubes were our other favorites. Can't wait to go back!”

“I came here for a meal and was really impressed! I ordered the Beef Fried Rice and the Hunan-Style Fried Pork Slices, and both dishes tasted very authentic. The flavors were rich, well-balanced, and just what I was hoping for. The service was friendly and the atmosphere felt welcoming, making it a great place to enjoy a good Chinese meal. I’d definitely come back again !”
“I recently visited Jang Ga Nae for gamjatang, and as expected from a place specializing in it, the gamjatang was excellent. But what really surprised me was how good their bossam and Squid Stir-Fry are — it’s definitely another standout dish. If you come here, I highly recommend ordering both the gamjatang, the bossam and Squid.
The flavors are very clean, and you can really feel the care and home-style quality in the cooking. This is one of my top Korean restaurant recommendations in the Lorena Heights area — highly recommended!
One last thing: I hope to see the owner smile a little more often — it would make the experience even better.”
“This is an excellent alternative to Melo Melo literally it tastes the same but the refrigeration system here works a lot better so it's actually cold and not borderline room temperature like it is at Melo Melo. The only downside is the flavor selection here isn't as great so I hope they have more in the future and the place smells kind of stuffy and funny”
“Very modern indoor environment! Have big screen with karaok songs, super relax ! And authentic Chinese style bbq food. Definitely recommend !”

“This was our very first time ever eating Dave’s Hot Chicken and for our first experience it was so perfect! We got lucky and got a chance to snag THE FALLOUT meal! We have been going to so many locations for it and it was SOLD OUT! The staff was so nice to us and we can’t wait to come back again. We got the meal to go but saw how clean and cool this location was so we decided to stay in and eat! Our food was DELICIOUS and I would recommend to come here! We for sure will come again!”
“Thanks to my son in law we got to try a new spot. How Rowland Heights has changed since the 80’s. Just love the rich food scene. Be forewarned. Friday and Saturday nights the parking can be very challenging. Once seated service was quick. But here is how it works. You order your broth selection an some premium proteins online. The rest is pretty much self service from the various refrigerators. Seafood, beef tendon, beef with cilantro, gizzards, plenty of mushrooms, and veggies. You select what you want and take it back to your table and immerse in the broth. Feels very cafe style which I just enjoyed. Totally a find. I will be back.”
“This location has a special place for me, as it was my favorite spot years ago when it was a different establishment. After a fire, I honestly never expected to see it come back. Last year, I discovered that it had been rebuilt as 88Q and decided to give it a shot.
I was genuinely and pleasantly surprised. The quality of the food is top notch, and the service is friendly, efficient, and fast. Everyone smiles and truly makes you feel welcomed from the moment you walk in.
Because of the overall experience, 88Q has become my go to KBBQ spot. I will definitely be visiting frequently and recommending it to others.”
“Tenju Tea House has solid tea. A plus is they offer loyalty stamp cards! I think the 10th drink is free. There is a kiosk if you want to pay by card/tap, but you can order with the cashier too.
I thought they used to be in the 99 Ranch plaza, but I guess they moved here behind Yoshinoya. The parking lot is more tight and annoying to find parking here.
I wanted to mention that I was in communication with Peggy about catering. She showed passion and attention to detail. We ended up not booking them, but she left such an impression that I have to share it! Go hire Tenju!
-no bathroom (the one inside the nearby market is NASTY though)
-unsure about wifi
-Apple Pay accepted
-no outdoor seating
-parking lot but it sux”
“I moved to other state 2 years ago and this restaurant is one of restaurants I really miss in LA. Every time I come back to LA I must have a dinner here. This restaurant never let me down. It is one of the most authentic Chongqing Hot Pot restaurants. The taste is great and the food material is fresh and quality. They are very generous to provide complimentary high quality snacks. They treat the customers thoughtfully and it is why they exist so long a time.”
“Tastes, feels, and smells like Formosa. Took relatives here from Taiwan who agree that the food is equal to if not better than many places on the island. Ppl complaining about service and sanitary… this is exactly what an authentic Taiwanese eatery is like. It’s a bit hidden but one of the best esp for stinky tofu, beef noodle, and rice dishes.”
“Chicken is very tasty. Fresh and flavorful and wings size are huge. Suggestions from staff were spot on. Tried cajun dry rub wings and they are great. Onion rings and our loaded fries great too. Will return soon. guy there is so friendly and works hard to get food out quickly and order correct. Prices are great too.”

“Pickled Fish: The fish is so tender that it melts in your mouth, the sauerkraut is crispy and appetizing, the soup base is sour and spicy but not choking at all, every bite is full of sincerity! I especially like the light numbing aroma, paired with hot rice, it is simply a healing tool in winter!
Guobao Pork: Under the golden and crispy skin is tender and juicy tenderloin. The ratio of sweet and sour sauce is just right. You can hear the "click" when you bite into it! The texture is crispy on the outside and tender on the inside. It is definitely a textbook interpretation of Northeastern cuisine!
Home-style tofu: The tofu is fried until it is charred on the outside and tender on the inside. It absorbs the fragrance of the sauce and is smooth and tender in the mouth without losing the bean flavor. Paired with the crispness of fungus and green pepper, it is full of texture, simple but full of homey taste, and it is a perfect meal!
The three dishes in this restaurant each have their own merits. The taste is authentic and the portions are substantial. You will become a fan after eating it once! Highly recommended to friends who love food~”
“We go here for a quick & simple breakfast. The pick your own combo is a good deal: porridge + choice: lo mai gai (sticky lotus rice) + drink. The BBQ pork cheung fun is smooth with the right amount of chew and you can see it made to order through the glass sometimes. The staff are friendly and attentive while it does get busy on weekends and lunch rush. Joe the manger will check in to see how’s things are going which is rare in HK style restaurants but appreciated in any setting.”
“Very small place, but very nice inside. Food was excellent and a little expensive. A lot of different dishes with Wagu beef as well. I recommend this place. Not many people on a Saturday afternoon but feel evenings will be more 👌 again a little pricey but worth it.”
“Whenever my sister swings by the 99 Ranch Market in Rowland Heights, she always passes by Golden China, a little Sichuan spot inside and this time we decided to bring our parents along to check it out.
They've got lunch specials, around $13 a dish. Portions are solid, and you can see what we ordered in the photos. Flavor-wise, it's on the heavier side, pretty salty and oily in my opinion, but the auntie (seems to be the owner) was friendly, chatty vibe.
If you're shopping at 99 Ranch and craving Sichuan, this is a handy spot to pop in!

“It’s so delicious. It’s good quality and reasonably priced. I’ll repurchase the pork belly chicken endlessly. Thank you, boss. I hope the restaurant can keep going. There are so few restaurants in Los Angeles that I can keep coming back to. Most of them are blocked after I go there once. I have been eating here for more than three years and the taste remains the same.”
“On our way from LAX to Palm Springs after 10:00 pm we were looking for a quick bite to eat. Drove by this restaurant and figured we would try it.The experience was one we will absolutely recommend, regarding both food and true Chinese culture. No where near what I was expecting. We had the lamb and also beef skewers and fried rice. An appetizer was brought out that we did not order, as it was included, which was right away different and tasted unlike any other soybean and peanut I’ve experienced. It was delicious! The lamb and beef was cooked to exact request and was also delicious! While we have dined at many Chinese restaurants throughout the United States, as we travel extensively and dine out regularly this surf past any, and all other restaurants, we’ve dined in for this type of food. Here’s the difference this was not Chinese food that has been Americanized in most Chinese restaurants. This was true Chinese prepared food.I truly believe you would have to travel to China to get this quality of food and culture.I will also say that we spent 3/4 of our time speaking to Cindy, whose father owns the restaurant which caters to home cooked events at homes, so this is not their primary source of how they deliver the product to the public. The hour and 15 minutes we spent there was made so much more enjoyable as Cindy walked us through the culture the food and Wyatt tasted different because it was truly cooked to Chinese standard. So I have to say, was it the food that was the greatest experience, or Cindy‘s presence and her willingness to have an open conversation about why they do it the way they do, and enlightened us about the culture of the food,I strongly recommend anyone that wants to find out what real Chinese cuisine is and how it is cooked and prepared in China. You realize very quick that this is not your drive-through, Chinese pick up takeout, that we are accustomed to here in the United States. This is a must try for the food if nothing else and when you’re there I recommend you ask for Cindy. After visiting with Cindy, she made it a total experience for an awesome evening of culture that was absolutely excellent. It is always nice to be able to understand and realize the actual culture of cuisine you are eating. Cindy, she made an experience of great food, a completely enjoyable experience. That was absolutely excellent off the charts. Cindy made it a 2 for 1 bonus to the evening. We will absolutely be driving from Palm Springs back to the restaurant. It was absolutely enjoyable. Not to mention the cost was nowhere near what we expected. It was almost like we ordered off a lunch menu for cost and the food that was delivered, and was ample to feed 4 instead of just the two of us.Thank you Cindy for an enjoyable evening and thank your father for being an unbelievable chef. The experience was one we will fondly look back on and make sure we repeat again.”
“Tucked inside a mall complex, this cozy spot specializes in Nanjing-style duck dishes, from noodle soups to traditional cold plates. We ordered the duck innards noodle soup, duck blood vermicelli, and salted duck—all deeply flavorful and true to their roots. The duck liver and gizzard added richness, though the intensity began to weigh a bit heavy toward the end.
Service was prompt and accommodating—the server even brought out a salty dipping sauce for the duck upon request. The only quibble was with the pricing: while costs everywhere have crept up, a simple soy sauce noodle soup at $13 felt a touch steep. Still, the cooking holds its ground with authenticity and care, making this a worthy stop for anyone craving the tastes of Nanjing.”

“Excellent service ! We ordered the large beef combo for 2 and it was more than enough. Very good quality.”
“Came here for my mom birthday, always wanted to try this place as it’s next to old faithful Baekajong. Food was very tasty. Meat was done just right. The lamb was not gaming at all. The portion were huge so be aware when you order. Service was great too as they were attentive.”

“I went to this restaurant at night with my kids...I've never been greeted with a smile until today it was the best customer service this young lady had the most beautiful smile very professional and I asked for her name she said her name was Janelle I want to thank her for her service her manager should thank her because of her I will continue to come back I hope her smile rubs of to all her co workers. Thank you Janelle for your service!
Pss...mangers give this girl a raise!”
“Mixed bag. The fried pork (탕수육) was really good and came in a generous portion. But the jjajangmyeon (짜장면)—despite being pricier than other places—was no better, maybe even worse.
I would recommend this place for family event or meeting after golf or something”
“Every dish was amazing — the chicken and pork was crispy on the outside and juicy inside, and the seasoning was just perfect. You could really taste the flavors in every bite!”

“First time trying Sul & Beans today with hubby and daughter. I've had shaved ice plenty of times before, but I'd never had it Korean-style! We are definitely coming back because there are so many flavors to try! Service was super quick, and everything was delicious! Big thumbs up!”
“This was a really great place, with the food being aweome for a few reasons:
1. The employees and owner were super cordial and very professional.
2. The food was very excellent; with the powered cheese fries being so creative, and I couldn't get over them. Its like powered popcorn, but potato fires, super weird, super creative. I loved it. The chicken was also very awesom, I recommend the secret sauce.
3. The place was clean, had cool shows and music broadcasting with aesthetics that fit for this establishment.
Overall, This place is a Must Be when passing by. You will not be disappointed.
By the way, not sure why some people are giving this place low star's; I've grown up in bad, to good area's, so I know a thing or two, and know that this must be down bad people with a bit of money, or bad attitudes, and just want a free meal or hate on people doing good. You still keep rocking BBQ Chicken. Cheers!”
“Regular at the Irvine location, stopped by here while passing through Rowland Heights. The quality is consistent.
> Tried the Beef Intestine Yuk Gae Jang this time. The intestines were clean with no smell and had a nice chewy texture. Broth was rich.
> The Galbi Patty was a surprise. Very juicy and had a good bounce to it. Sweet and savory flavor was spot on.
> Bossam and BBQ Beef were consistent as always. The beef was tender and the glass noodles underneath soaked up all the sauce. Reliable spot for a solid meal.”
“Located inside 168 market. I arrived at the opening hour do service was quick. Will definitely try other things when I'm in the area. Good food and portions. Ordered 2 items- The tripe fried rice and the fried crispy tofu in peanut sauce. Cost close to $40 but the leftovers were enough for 1-2 more meals.”
“Love Casa Alvarez being going there since 1973 when I move to Rowland Hts I order my food to take out every body are very nice I go there very often so some of them already recognize my voice in the phone and know my name too THE FOOD IS ALWAYS DELICIOUS I NEVER HAVE NO PROBLEMS ME ENCANTA LA COMIDA MEXICANA THANK YOU GRACIAS 😊”
“We have cravings for Korean food, but not the typical Korean BBQ. So we checked out Hanshin Pocha for the first time. Very down to earth setting. In the middle there's a big article and picture of the famous Korean chef (Chef Jong Won Paik) who also founded this chain of restaurants.
We told the server this is our first time so he was very helpful to explain the tradition and the type of food and what are their specialties.
We listened and ordered the whole fried chicken, the whole octopus, and the chicken feet stew!
We had such a good time! The food were exceptional! So tasty and fresh! You really have to try this place out and get the chicken!
Parking was very tigh as there are so many businesses and restaurants in this complex.”
“Great service, accommodating servers even with a packed place of people”

“Food: 4*
Service: 5*
Ambiance: 3*
Stopped by here for dinner and we were not disappointed. All the food was fresh, tasty, and ample. We were a party of 8, so we ordered and good amount of food. Everything was great. The orange chicken was not as sweet as others and was really good.
Food break down:
The hot and sour soup was delicious, tasty and hit the spot.
The sliced fish in Szechwan sauce was fantastic. The fish was perfectly cooked and the heat was the right amount of spice and flavor.
The pork and cabbage dumplings were juicy and tender. I wished I ordered two orders of this.
The combination sautéed noodles was great as well. A good mix of pork, chicken, and seafood with a nice light sauce. Very tasty.
The pan seared green beans were delicious. Tender crisp with “the breath” of the wok which was slightly smokey. Always a favorite.
The combination fried rice was tasty and a good balance of flavors. For the rice lovers.
The braised eggplant was a surprise hit. Eggplant can be bland but this wasn’t. It had a nice blend of spice and flavor, and was a hit.
The beef with broccoli was delicious as well. Tasty and packed with tender crisp broccoli.
The service was great. The owner lady was attentive, helpful and gave good recommendations (sliced fish, hot and sour soup). The ambience was dated, but clean. No A/C made it hot while eating. All in all a great meal.”
“Complex, authentic Korean flavors made with traditional p ingredients. A humble porridge could become a pleasantly enjoyable experience. I ordered bulnakji porridge today and instead of using ground beef or cheap meat, they used a good quality meat and then they sautéed the marinated bulgogi in butter. mmm. Chives/buchu they used were fresh and green. So was the octopus. Often times you taste the fishiness but this octopus or nakji had a very clean flavor. The venue and the food they served were very clean. I highly recommend this place.”
“Mian is a great spot if you love Chinese noodles. They offer a wide variety of noodle dishes from different regions of China, so you can really taste several styles in one place. It feels unique, modern, and the restaurant stays open late, which is probably why so many young people come here.
If you’re a noodle lover, this is definitely a fun and unique place to try. The prices are affordable, and the overall quality is solid. If you live in the Rowland Heights area, it’s worth stopping by at least once to check it out.”
“I love this taco truck! The service was amazing and everyone was so kind. My boyfriend accidentally dropped all three of his tacos right after getting them 😅 When he went back to order more, they asked if something was wrong with the tacos. He explained what happened and they offered to replace all of them! He insisted on paying for another 3, but when the order was ready, they surprised us with 4 tacos instead! 🥹❤️
Not only was the service incredible, but the tacos were so yummy full of flavor and cooked perfectly. This place is a must try taco truck! 🌮🔥 Thank you guys so much we were so happy and really enjoyed our tacos!”
“For the $19.99 AYCE lunch, I have no complaints whatsoever. It exceeded all of our expectations. I've been cooking for my family for 30 years and my friend is a champion in BBQ. We both are impressed with the freshness of the vegetables, seafood, and meat. We boiled everything at the table, so if it's not washed cleaned to be eaten raw, then the high water temperature would have sanitized and disintergrated what didn't belong in our mouths.”
“One of my favorite spots for a reliable, delicious meal. I’ve been here many times and everything has always been great. The Stir-Fried Naan & Meat is a must-try, and the Garlic Lover’s Cucumber is fresh and flavorful. I always finish with their yogurt dessert — it’s my go-to after every meal and highly recommended. Friendly staff, clean space, and a nice loyalty rewards program.”
“Cozy place. Bit dark inside but customers were having a good time. Not pricey. I will come back for it. My order was the shell soup with veggie. Decent taste but bit salty!”

“A legit Hawaiian food spot, I haven't had a good garlic shrimp plate in CA until now (it reminds me of Giovanni's shrimps). Also, I tried their crunchy Gojujang fried chicken and beef ribs and they were delicious. I would definitely recommend these dishes as a first timer here and wash it down with Dole pineapple slushy.”
“After dinner nearby, we knew we wanted boba afterwards and purposely saved room for it! R&B Tea was on the opposite end of the plaza, which worked out as we worked off a little bit of dinner by walking here.
I ordered a jasmine green milk tea ($5.75) at 50% sweet with easy ice and boba ($0.75). Just the right amount of sugar with the right consistency for the boba. Would definitely order again (and also possibly try their matcha milk tea or roasted oolong milk tea). Post-dinner boba craving met! Thanks Tiffany for taking care of our large group order!
They have two small tables in the front and more table space in the back for hanging out and playing board games. We picked The Logo Game and learned new facts about products and logos and what not from the game. Did you know that Baskin Robbins had 31 flavors particular to cover each day of the month? I didn't, until the game. Fun times.
Plenty of parking spots in this large plaza.”
“Soooo good!! Came here randomly once because I’d always pass by and never once was let down. I will say sometimes they kind of take a little while making the smoothies but aside from that everything is always perfect every time. Price is reasonable and the quantities are insane! I love coming here especially lately since it’s been hot out.”
“I've eaten at several of the local taco stands and THIS ONE IS BY FAR THE BEST! Their al pastor is absolutely delicious because it's fired up on the trompo, sliced off, and cooked a la plancha to give it a crunchy texture while retaining its juiciness. My kid loves their cabeza. They also have suadero on the weekends. I've talked with several other customers during my visits there and they're all regulars because they also think it's the best taco stand around. If you haven't tried this place, you're missing out.
**NOTE** The phone number listed on Google Maps with the 323 area code is NOT the correct number (the owner of this taco stand told me). I've submitted an edit with Google over a week ago, but they still haven't corrected this.”
“Hit the drive thru later in evening, service was fast. Thai tea was not overly sweet and the melon based drink we ordered was unique and refreshing. Macaroons were decent for quick food, but my comparison is from French pastry shops so am a tad biased. Prices were very reasonable for Cali.”
“We got the beef & beef tendons& beef tripe with rice noodles mild spicy but honestly I ordered some chili paste to make it more spicy. We also got a side of Inoke mushrooms wrapped in beef were really good and it’s tasted so good if you put them in the broth of the beef soup. We also got the strawberry oolong tea drink and that made the food taste even better. The sweet lady who served us was helpful and nice. She even gave us water as we waited for our food. Seats are limited so first come first serve but dining in was a good experience. In total we spent 57$ for all of that.”
“Just my daughter-in-law and me, spent our quality time well and satisfied. They were so delicious, except the pickles. We both planned to be back again.”

“I’ve been to the La Habra location and it’s nice to know that the Rowland Heights location is just as yummy and has the same amazing deals like their lunch specials at $22.99. I do really enjoy that I can instantly eat because the marinated meats are the meat buffet . So no waiting involved except for the grill to be heated!!! There are over 7 different types of proteins at the meat bar and other set menu of items you can order with your server like beef belly and brisket or thin sliced pork belly. Their higher priced sets include LA Galbi, Seafood, Steamed Egg and so much more. I love how I can end my meal with a JIN RAMEN . If you never had Ramen at the end, you need to. It’s 10/10!”
“Banana Bay Eat Radiance is a solid choice for flavorful Thai food. The gai lan with pork was cooked perfectly, with tender pork and crisp greens coated in a savory, well-balanced sauce, while the tom kha was rich, creamy, and aromatic with just the right balance of coconut, tang, and warmth. Everything tasted fresh, portions were generous, and the overall experience was very satisfying—definitely a place worth coming back to.”
“The on-going low price promotions through the App. Can you believe buying LARGE french fries @ 1dollar US only? Where in the world can you find that? Only in McDonalds. Good job McDonalds. Keep up the good work of serving people with great low price as much as possible. You are helping a lot of people, like me, in this current economic pandemic situation. Kudos to McDonalds launching of App. More power to the company & the people working in-front & behind. God bless everybody.”
“Food tastes good. Services are fast.
02/20 update: can not believe that I have not been back here for 3 years, as we normally go to New Capital for dim sum.
Came around 9:30am, got seated, and made our orders right away. Unfortunately, the chefs do not come until 10am, so certain items on the menu are not available. That said, items we ordered are delicious. All the staff are very friendly and attentive. Will definitely come back soon.”

Cheers!”

“I've been to this place many times and I really like it. It has a very thick tea flavor. They actually prepared a puppy cup for the puppy, with an egg yolk on top! I just love it so much!! The waiters were very friendly. Even though it was already past 9 p.m., they still faced every customer in a very good state. I will recommend it to everyone around me!”
“Absolutely a gem 💎! We loved the matcha spanner super delicious with the matcha cream and the strawberry matcha😘. The details and the cute designs on the cups super cute. The ube croissant and the banana pudding were absolutely delicious 😋! By the way, thank you for the tiny croissants with chocolate cream. My family absolutely loved them. We definitely will come again.”
“Tonight (4/8/2026), we ordered two drinks, but they were not ready even after we finished all our food. We waited at least 10 minutes and asked a staff member twice, as well as the store manager, but the drinks still didn’t arrive.
We eventually left, got into our car, and were about to drive off when the store manager—who was very kind and professional—came out with our drinks and sincerely apologized.
We really appreciate her attitude and dedication to making things right. Great food overall, and excellent customer service recovery.”
“yi fang will always be my #1 boba chain. I'm so glad that yi fang returned to this location, I was devastated when I found out they were closing but extremely happy that they're back. my favorite is their lychee fruit tea- super refreshing and yummy.
the staff here are always so sweet!”
“Came by after a dental appointment in West Covina for the first time since the remodel and it looks great! The decor inside definitely reminds me of the San Gabriel location, but the menu here feels way more expansive. They’ve added a lot of new styles and local Macau favorites that you don't see everywhere else.
We tried:
• Special Crab Meat Yee Mien: This was excellent and full of flavor.
• Baked European Style Curry Seafood Rice: Really unique and delicious.
It seems like this is the only spot where you can find these specific dishes done this way. Service was solid and friendly too. Definitely a great addition to the Rowland Heights food scene, we’ll be back to explore more of the menu!”
