Great great great as close to Ktown GamJa tang as you can get. Get it and go. It's a must

We can confidently say that this Korean restaurant is the best place for gam jatang (pork bone soup) among all the Korean restaurants we've tried. The ugeoji are plentiful and the pork is also generously included, which is excellent. It's really delicious. Without mentioning anything else, in terms of taste, it's the best, especially ugeoji Gamja tang .

Love the pork spine soup with potatoes, onion/leeks, spices and spicy broth. Comes with fish cake? Pickled daikon, jalapeño with onion in soy sauce/soy bean oil, and kimchi. Service is good if you are Korean and lingers a little if not. This place gets really packed during peak hours. They make a fried purple rice after your done eating the soup. It's a good idea to shred some of the pork meat to enhance your fried rice at the end.

Terrible service!!! I was called to order food many times and the lady just handed up the phone call.

Food is just ok, kinda salty, need to drink lots of water after the meal. Service is bad, we left empty cups on the table, servers passed by and never bother to refill your water. I asked for two bowels and one refill for a side dish, they never brought. At the end, we couldn't finish all food and asked for Togo boxes, server said "LA county required us to charge $1 for Togo box." This is the first time I heard about it. Then I googled online, didn't find anything about restaurants charging for Togo boxes. Never come back again.

Nice services. Good foods. Very cozy place for family to hang out for dinner or lunch. Would come back there again if I can.

Exactly what you would expect from a gamjatang place! Huge portions and good to come in a big group. Banchan here is terrible but that is not the focus of this restaurant anyways. The gamjatang was straight up from my childhood. Nothing special, just a solid, classic Korean gamjatang. It would be a shame to get a takeout from here because why would you want to miss out on the fried rice they make after you finish the soup?? Save your stomach for the complimentary kimchi fried rice, which they make using the leftover gamjatang soup. Personally I had no issue with the service -- I really did not expect some guy to be stationed in our area, and he was so attentive with everyone. It's a very traditional, hole in the wall restaurant, so I wasn't expecting this kind of over-the-top service.

Very delicious and good portions! You NEED to come here for their lunch specials. Incredible!! We arrived at 12:30 PM on a Friday and there was no wait. It's a little hidden away between the golf driving range and Greenland. They are known for their gamja tang and bossam, but I ordered the Grilled Mackerel and Doenjang-jjigae. Both were great quality and $16 for lunch. The mackerel was perfectly cooked! If you like oily and salty fish, this is a good option to try. The portions were big and very filling! I highly recommend.

Five of us had dinner last night, all of us had diarrhea and food poison today. We've had stomachaches all day today

Excellent gam ja gol. I would order their pork bone soup as it is very tasty. Their meat wrapped in lettuce is also excellent

Do not go to this restaurant, I checked online to come here for lunch. And since this is new place for us we asking the old korean lady for the beef soup and she gave us attitudes and walk away while we are ordering food. So disappointed and bad service.

This place is a hidden gem. They offer cold noodles for summer time and it's so good! Their bibimbap is also delicious and big portion. The side dishes are yummy and staff is nice. Recommend for lunch or even dinner if you want to try their bbq too!

The prices aren't as high as Korean restaurants nearby but the food was soo good. It was also a pretty hefty quantity. My friend and I shared the bibimbap and gamja tang and we had so many leftovers to bring home. The seating was really nice and spacious and the lighting also made everything so appetizing. The side dishes were really yummy. The staff was nice and they checked up on us often. The food also came at a reasonable time. I'm giving this place 5 stars mostly because of the quality of food for the great price.

FYI, this is a Korean owned business with a very traditional old school type of service and feel, and it is not really catered towards our super western and gentrified friends who expect service to be highly revolved around them. Workers are very old school Korean-Americans and are not really up to speed to some who are more used to a culture of excellent service. Not to say there aren't negative things about it, but it's also like a complicated cultural thing that just can't be helped. It's more for like many old school immigrants like my mom who love this place. I know very westernized foodies like to try this place and all but they should manage their expectations for everything else other than the food. I know there are things to be critical about, but goodness just let a local small business make a living. But in any case, yes just get the gamjatang, good for 2-3 people maybe 4 because it is super good. This is the only reason you should come here for. Plus they can also make fried rice out of it after you finish up most of it and it is so good! Good place to go just purely for the food! Plenty of parking since it's next to a Greenland market!
