Well, I came down from Vegas for the day and as I was getting ready to head back I made sure to stop by the store in Buena Park to pick up some goodies as I was coming from Huntington Beach.I picked up a selection of savory and sweet items to try out. As I am half Cuban I remember eating the same items as my grandmother made and sure enough the items I picked out had spot on flavor. I work in Human Resources so customer service is one I typically have to observe. All servers appear to have good command of service to customers - they're smiling and attentive to everything. They all seem to share their loads and helping each other (like filling coffee). I hope the manager/owner pays them well and provides good benefits for retention purposes.I had crepes with strawberries and bananas and side of eggs and sausage. This was only my second visit as it's a bit far from my hometown but the second visit is just as incredibly wonderful as the first one two or three years ago.I highly recommend this restaurant.Kid-friendliness: Kid-friendly for sure“

“This is the head quarters store next to their offices and college. They get you through the drive-up fast and the staff is friendly. FYI: They don't take EBT so if ypu use an EBT go some place else. They do take cash, credit and debit. You can sit inside and eat or outside at their tables outside. I don't know if they do curbside. They don't deliver. This place is a SoCal Icon and treasure! ;)Parking: The IN-N-OUT Autotopia is like a ride at Disneyland, but it goes faster. There is more parking at the back side of the building where you pull in for the drive thru. ;)“

“From the first visit, Civitas has been our favorite ever since! Whenever we are out of town and try another coffee shop we always compare that coffee shop to Civitas. "Is it as good as Civitas?" The answer is very rarely a "yes". Our regular order is an unsweetened iced oat milk latte! “I am so confused by these reviews regarding the owner. I received nothing but the best from Leslie. She was not available on our wedding date and I was really sad about it but she suggested I have the cake delivered the day before. It was so great of her to fit me in and work with me to make sure I got the best damn cake for my wedding. I wasn't sure I wanted a cake but when she sent me samples I literally wanted to have a 6 tier cake so we didn't have to choose. It was some of the best cake I have ever tried! All were amazing. We went for banana creme and coconut passion fruit which were BEYOND. So sad she doesn't have a store front anymore! Will definitely be ordering cake for every anniversary if she will let us!“

“I have not actually been to their storefront, however I did have the opportunity to try their Bundt cake at our semi annual street fair in Carlsbad. It was the end of the fair, and most all of their Bundt cakes were packed up in clear totes. When we walked by, I commented to my daughter how good they all looked. My daughter got pretty excited and they were kind enough to help out with one last cinnamon sugar churro Bundt cake. It was just before dinner so we took it to go for after dinner. We actually warmed it up and it was amazing. I wish I had some ice cream to go with it! Only bummer is I guess we will have to wait another 6 months to try them again! “Boysenberry Festival at Knotts' is delicious. This bakery has many choices of boysenberry treats such as pies, cookies, lemon bars, turnovers, bung cakes and more. Really hard to choose from cause they all look so good. I purchased a slice of boysenberry pie and it was delicious. I tried to get an iced coffee with it but they didn't have any. They do serve hot coffee drinks if you need a coffee break. The ambiance here is nice, lots of outdoor seating right by the Ghost Rider roller coaster. The service was ok just like any other place at a theme park. The perfect place for a midday snack break.“

“I ordered 3 cakes with 3 flavors and 3 birthday decorations: Delicious Wishes, Golf themed, and Center of Attention. They added an extra flower to make 100. Everyone at the Assisted Living Village where my uncle lives loved the cakes and the frosting. My uncle wanted Peanutbutter Chocolate which was a seasonal flavor. I selected Carrot Cake and White Chocolate Raspberry. I ordered the cakes in person. They were ready on time at 10 30 AM. They were decorated beautifully and wrapped in cellophane. I was worried about transporting them an hour away, but I put one on the floor and two on the backseat. The gal helped me carry them out to my car. We kept them chilled til serving. Guests asked me where I got the cakes and were there locations nearby. The shop is festive and the experience was so pleasant. I have had these cakes before which is why I wanted them for this 100th birthday party!“
