Maybe because I'm used to the subpar OC standards of dimsum where it tastes bland but they over charge you, Happy Harbor actually was a refreshing delicious experience. My party ordered the usual suspects of dimsum, chicken feet, spare ribs, shumai, hargow, tripe, porridge etc and the total bill came out to be only $80~ for 4 people which is decent! Ofc, the SGV-snob in me thinks this is still not up to snuff but the OC dimsum-starved me thinks this is amazing already. Oh also you order off a menu like most newer dimsum places so you do not get to enjoy the dimsum cart lady experience but to each their own.

Party of four with 3 adults and 1 kid decided to have lunch at Happy Harbor, a Cantonese style seafood restaurant on high end side. Their dim sum dishes are build to order so everything is more fresh and tastier than ones sitting in the carts, plus you don't waste time calling the cart over for specific dim sum or deserts that you really want or just been told it's sold out wait for next turn! Service is fast from reception to our waiters. There is no wait on Friday noon around 12:20pm. Because we are craving for dim sums, way more dishes are ordered as the result! Giant Shrimp dumping, Chinese turnip cake, fish roe siu mai, Chinese sausage rolls, pork soup dumplings, baked bbq pork bun, chicken feet, Chinese broccoli, shrimp in thin rice wraps. All the dim sum looks good, tastes good, smells great and fresh. Ingredients used are better than most other dim sum places and it reflects on the menu price too. All parties enjoy the dim sum and environment of Happy Harbor seafood restaurant. It's great for small gathering to big parties. We also like the fact that we do not have to yell to have a decent conversation.

Just left the restaurant. Food is ok. Service is worse than the food Servers dressed in suits but acting rude lol

One of the better dim sum restaurants in Rowland Heights area. There's never really a wait even on the weekends. We ordered about 17 dishes of dim sum and all came out within 5-10 minutes. We finished everything so quickly. We were in and out the restaurant super fast today lol

This is one place we go frequently, the dim sum selection good and quality has never disappointed. Service is hit or miss but we come for the food.

One of those classic spots for dimsum that can also be rented out for a banquet or event. These kinds of restaurants will often have a wait on weekend afternoons. Decent options for dimsum and in particular their Squid Ink Molten Egg Custard Bao caught our eye. Happy Harbor is also no exception to inflation.

If you're craving authentic cuisine this place is your spot. We came in and got a bit of everything. My two favorites were the Taiwanese calamari and seafood noodles! & Service was great! We will be coming back for lunch to try the dim sum as well!

Always amazing. The service is on point but the servers are rude. We had the best lunch and totally blew our diets. We had almost one of everything. Always make sure your get the XO sauce and pay extra for another chili plate. Just make sure they give you more chili than mustard. That's not fair if you ask me. The food is amazing but the staff isn't nice and they are super stingy with the sauces.

Solid dim sum place. We came here after the other place didn't accept our credit card. Their service was fast, the food was solid. I really liked their custard bun, and I really enjoyed the truffle shu mai! This place doesn't have any carts though, but it was fine cuz the stuff came out quick and hot and the price was very affordable!

The dim sum dishes here are probably the best I have ever tasted. The quality of dim sum in Los Angeles deteriorated in the past few years. But when I first tried Happy Harbor a few months ago, the taste of their dim sum took me back to my younger years and reminded me of what dim sum used to and SHOULD taste. Since then, I have returned for their dim sum several times and have not been disappointed one bit. Everything we ordered was absolutely bursting with flavor. This is my favorite dim sum place currently.

Food up to par with neighborhood. Good prices. Service courteous and prompt. Plenty of parking and lots of sitting area for waiting in case you come late.

I really enjoyed the dishes that I tried. The food was full of flavor. They had a variety of options to choose from. The buns were a favorite really soft and fresh. The service was quick and we did not wait long. It was a lively dining hall that made the experience there fun. Must try the desserts!

Dim sum I would say is at standard but I do like the truffle shrimp dumplings. My favorites were actually the speciality dishes we ordered. The beef chow fun was really tasty and not oily like other places. Garlic lobster was fresh and delicious. Service was excellent!

Came with my family for the lunar new year. I would say that in the past, this restaurant fell short of expectation for the price, however i believe that it has truly gotten better over time. The service is very quick and the food has gotten tastier overtime. Would for sure recommend especially if they keep up the good work. The only issue is sometimes it's a bit crowded and hard to get seats but thats just the result of choosing a popular dim sum restaurant.
