picked up the Mrs from workplace n we're sitting in car looking at reviews of places to eat breakfast.. we engaged a passing a passing CHP officer in a convo.. n this place was his recommendation. We were not disappointed.. it had a lovely peaceful atmosphere even with most tables occupied.. service was prompt, our server was very friendly indeed, nice hot coffee on a cold Sacramento morning and the steak we ordered was perfectly done to our taste buds.. there's street parking...read full review
Located right next to the original Cornerstone restaurant (which is now something else), it is a large and loud sports type restaurant/bar with efficient and friendly service and lots of the tasty original menu (such as the potato platter, which is a favorite). Well worth a visit but bring your ear plugs.

Food was good--had a turkey burger and a bloody mary. Our server was super friendly and funny. Nice, low-key, casual neighborhood joint. Haven't been here since the olden days when it was all about the breakfast. I understand they've recently opened a little nightclub scene on the weekends.
