“Wow it's been 20 yrs. Since my dad passed. We no longer have Luis's which I'm sry I grew up with and loved. So we go for some authentic mexican. We had crispy beef tacos, cheese enchiladas. And 3 enchilads beef. Chicken and cheese. It was just awful. Tortillas were store bought and extra charge, sauce and salsa for chips tasted like out of a jar or can. Beans were good.Waiter was surly felt not one smile beneath that mask.(I saw the black girl's comment) We are white if that helps) Service was fast. Ambiance is great but I was just really cravin some good authentic mexican. We won't be back.left most of our food on the plate. $79.00 for 3 of us.“

“I've been coming to Los Jarritos for years, and it never disappoints. This family-owned gem has become a staple for me when I crave authentic, fresh, and flavorful Mexican food. The staff is always friendly, making you feel like part of the family.

“I wish they accepteded card. This place is cash only and when you order over the phone, they can't tell you how much your total is going to be a head of time. I arrived with $50 in my hand and asked the lady if she could tell me how much it was going to be. She looked at my tab and said about $40, she rang my order and it came out to $61 and change. Oh well damn, now I have to find a place with an ATM. The inconvenience was inconvenient! The smoke shop next door has an ATM but conveniently it's out of service. I went to 711 and took out $20. When I arrived she had a long line and she was waiting for me to arrive to pay her. I don't know, I feel like the whole thing can be avoided if they would just update their system and the fact that it's a cash only they could find a way to let customers know how much cash they need to have on hand.“

“Our group of eight was searching for a sit-down Mexican restaurant with an open kitchen after 9 PM and found Jalapeños. We decided to give it a try, and the service was excellent—helpful and attentive staff. I sampled four different tacos, all of which were delicious, and the margaritas were fresh and flavorful. “What a gem! Hiding in plain sight! I got a shredded chicken burrito (all lean meat) and a carne asada taco for around 7$ WHAT?? The carne asada was thinly shredded, tender and delicious not like cheap beef. No gristle or chunks of fat. Also it was BIG for the price 3 stars for atmosphere only because it's a little grocery store in a modest older building. The people working the counter were warm and welcoming. If you want your money to go further and still get some good authentic food check it out. To go/takeout only, great fast stop for a meal!“

Got the Jumbo Burrito, Al Pastor. This is a new favorite spot but unfortunately not close to where I live. Great portions and great flavor for the price. What more can you ask for? I came because I saw a review that it’s al pastor cooked legit off the trompo. I believe it, but did not confirm.

These days with street food prices at almost the same rate, might as well go somewhere that’s regulated, food safe, and provides nice service and atmosphere. $13.99 before tax for jumbo super burrito.“

“My family and I have had the most wonderful experiences at Vallejo's. The atmosphere for dining is one of the best. The staff are so kind, and the owners go out of their way to speak to their customers. When my father passed away in 2018, the Vallejo's family surprised us with catering at his funeral. They fed over 500 people, and didn't charge our family one penny for the food. They have also catered for various family functions, including graduation events. The food is amazing and is definitely worth trying.“

“I’ve been lucky enough to have seen this taqueria from the first day they opened, in Campbell, Ca. which was the original location prior to moving to the Sacramento area. The food is prepared by a family who pours just the right amount of love into each dish. For me, I fell in love with the food the first day, then I fell in love with the family. Mom, Dad, Sons, and Sister(their daughter always called me brother and I called her sister❤️) all knew me by first name basis. I’d take orders from the business located in our complex and order 10 burritos at a time and always left with a free burrito for myself. I gained over 50lbs eating their food because it was the best around. Over the past 25-30years they’ve been in business, I’ve made the trek to Sacramento to see the family and eat their amazing food multiple times. As far as I am concerned, this state has the best food in the nation, and this place is on my list of why I think so. I walked in expecting to grab some tacos, but when I spotted black pozole on the specials board, I just had to try it (I’m a huge pozole fan!). I usually stick to red pozole, so this was a totally new adventure for my taste buds. From the very first spoonful to the last, I was grinning—the rich flavors, the perfect blend of spices, and that incredible mix of roasted peppers with a hint of citrus had my taste buds dancing with joy. “The alpastor is super flavorful! The torta is sizable and the ingredients taste fresh, the bread was soft and soaked up the alpastor well. The salsa is absolute fire. Horchata was less flavorful or sweet, but that made it a lot much more of a refreshing beverage vs a sweet drink like a lot of places do. Will definitely be here again“

“I hadn’t eaten for the whole day, when I randomly stumbled upon Zecky’s Fish Tacos (when I say stumbled, I mean I literally tripped while getting out of my car).

I was immediately enticed by the idea of fish tacos, and I had no idea what to expect for any other aspect of the restaurant.
Upon entering, I was welcomed in by a very kind gentleman, who helped me with my indecisive inquiries on what I should order.
I ended up heeding his recommendations, so I went with the fish tacos, some flan, and some horchata.
I’ve never had horchata or flan so I have nothing to compare them to, but the flan was very tasty! Not too sweet. The horchata was also very tasty and it was pretty sweet!
The fish tacos really hit the spot, and overall I had a nice and delicious experience.“
