“Wow it's been 20 yrs. Since my dad passed. We no longer have Luis's which I'm sry I grew up with and loved. So we go for some authentic mexican. We had crispy beef tacos, cheese enchiladas. And 3 enchilads beef. Chicken and cheese. It was just awful. Tortillas were store bought and extra charge, sauce and salsa for chips tasted like out of a jar or can. Beans were good.Waiter was surly felt not one smile beneath that mask.(I saw the black girl's comment) We are white if that helps) Service was fast. Ambiance is great but I was just really cravin some good authentic mexican. We won't be back.left most of our food on the plate. $79.00 for 3 of us.“

“Our group of eight was searching for a sit-down Mexican restaurant with an open kitchen after 9 PM and found Jalapeños. We decided to give it a try, and the service was excellent—helpful and attentive staff. I sampled four different tacos, all of which were delicious, and the margaritas were fresh and flavorful. Overall, we had a great time, and I’d consider returning to explore more of the menu.“

“I’ve been to El Cantaro in Monterey about 10 times! I’m looking forward to going to the Sacramento version of this restaurant today! That has some of the best Mexican food I’ve ever had. I love the fact that it doesn’t say vegan plant-based and all that stuff everywhere. It’s basically just a Mexican restaurant that happens to be Vegan. Can’t wait to come and visit!“

“I’ve been lucky enough to have seen this taqueria from the first day they opened, in Campbell, Ca. which was the original location prior to moving to the Sacramento area. The food is prepared by a family who pours just the right amount of love into each dish. For me, I fell in love with the food the first day, then I fell in love with the family. Mom, Dad, Sons, and Sister(their daughter always called me brother and I called her sister❤️) all knew me by first name basis. I’d take orders from the business located in our complex and order 10 burritos at a time and always left with a free burrito for myself. I gained over 50lbs eating their food because it was the best around. Over the past 25-30years they’ve been in business, I’ve made the trek to Sacramento to see the family and eat their amazing food multiple times. My only note is that if you’re expecting a typical super burrito size, it’s a bit smaller than you might anticipate. For the price, I wish it were a bit more filled. Still, a great spot overall!“

“The Churros outside are amazing! Crispy, fluffy, sweet, savory and delicious 😋. These churros are made right in front of you, fresh and ready to eat. You get your choice of filling which include chocolate, strawberry, vanilla, caramel and cream. We got the caramel filled and cream filled churro, both were delicious but my favorite was the cream. Will be definitely be going back here to try the chocolate and strawberry filled churros next!“

“I was next door at the tax office and decided to try Agave mexican restaurant for the first time. I'm was extremely pleased with the authentic food . it was so delicious. home made salsa and horchata. I would definitely recommend this restaurant to my friends and family.“

“My family and I have had the most wonderful experiences at Vallejo's. The atmosphere for dining is one of the best. The staff are so kind, and the owners go out of their way to speak to their customers. When my father passed away in 2018, the Vallejo's family surprised us with catering at his funeral. They fed over 500 people, and didn't charge our family one penny for the food. They have also catered for various family functions, including graduation events. The food is amazing and is definitely worth trying.“

My significant other had 2 chicken taco's with rice and a squirrel. the condiment bar had every sauce you could think of. The restaurant was spotless and we were great and served in very short order. We both thoroughly enjoyed are meal and will definitely return in the near future!!!“

“I ordered to go over the phone and was pleasantly surprised. I ordered pupusas revueltas and also cheese with chicharron. So delicious! I did try the Yuca for the first time and didn't really like it. But that was probably just me. Other than that, the salsa, curtido, and Pupusas were oh so very yummy! Can't wait to go again!!!“

“We used to live 1 block from Chita’s a decade ago and would walk there for food all the time. Moved away and each time I come back it’s just like the last time. Consistent, delicious, unlike any other, and the lovely lady at the front who’s worked there the whole time still gives the best service and is so sweet! Lastly, it’s a tradition for us to get a Chita’s burrito and take a picture of them next to our babies heads (it’s fun bc the burritos are the size of their head, started 9 years ago). Fun tradition & just got to do it again with our littlest one. Thank you Chita’s for being a part of our family traditions and memories. You’re the best, we love you! 🩷“
