This spot is in the middle of a small shopping center across sac state and you wouldn’t think from the looks that it’d be that good but OMG everything is SOOO GOOD. Their meat is so flavorful, their RICE omgomomg so oily and flavorful (my biggest pet peeve is sticky rice or plain rice) but theirs are so simple and elevated. And they even add French fries on top of everything. They’re nice and thin with this delicious spice added to it. Lastly their portion size for the prize is so worth it! They pack up your plate for only around $12. The service is also quick and nice.

We had a delicious dinner of the Combo Platter and Philly Cheesesteak at NY GYROS & PHYLLY'S. They were out of chicken wings so offered refund or substitute and declined to charge for the sub. Will definitely visit again.
I love this place but….. it’s not consistent. I loved the salad with the gyro and chicken with red and white sauce but every-time I order it it looks different! I don’t get it. Sometimes it’s great sometimes it’s blah.

Food is always amazing! Regardless of what you get from a gyro, rice plate, or the gyro fries! You can't go wrong, the white sauce definitely has to go on whatever you get!

SO good! Been coming here for years now. I come all the way across town because I love them that much! Try it! Employees are super nice and have been there a long time. Little to no turnover, which I appreciate. Food is always made to order and not pre cooked from what I can see. I've NEVER had an order that wasn't exactly what I ordered.

I like to support business that is making good food so I'll give them a five. But the food is a 3.7. Quick, good portions, met my expectations. The I'm a saucy boy, so next time I'll ask for extra. I got the combo plate and my friend got the chicken gyro, the flavors aren't off the wall, and I would say a little dry throughout (hence the need for more sauce) super good, easy meal if you need one fast. Keep up the good work!
