This spot is in the middle of a small shopping center across sac state and you wouldn’t think from the looks that it’d be that good but OMG everything is SOOO GOOD. Their meat is so flavorful, their RICE omgomomg so oily and flavorful (my biggest pet peeve is sticky rice or plain rice) but theirs are so simple and elevated. We had a delicious dinner of the Combo Platter and Philly Cheesesteak at NY GYROS & PHYLLY'S. They were out of chicken wings so offered refund or substitute and declined to charge for the sub. Will definitely visit again.

I love this place but….. it’s not consistent. I loved the salad with the gyro and chicken with red and white sauce but every-time I order it it looks different! I don’t get it. Sometimes it’s great sometimes it’s blah.
