Very delicious food! Nice music and clean environment. Surprisingly my 3 year old kid loved all dishes we ordered ; )Kid-friendliness: My kid enjoyed the rice roll a lot, as well as the braised pork steamed rice, and the veggies.

Homey Chinese restaurant. Plenty of parking outside. Next to Dollar Tree. The sign of the restaurant is small and a bit unassuming. Credit cards and Apple Pay are accepted. Bathroom in the back of the restaurant. The food was so good that we placed an order of food to take home for dinner. Cheung fun (steamed rice roll) is the thing to get here. You can add egg for $1.50. I liked the beef better than the shrimp. Maybe because they used smaller sized shrimp. Congee is also popular, but I didn't try it. Mushroom beef comes with some string beans, so this is a good well-rounded dish. Honey garlic spareribs were sweet. I thought it was tasty, but the meat had tiny bones. The satay egg & shrimp chow fun was good too. Service was good. They would refill our waters. They spoke English and Chinese with us. I'd be back!

My wife had a craving for beef chow fun in the worst way that she decided to give this restaurant a try. It is in a nondescript unassuming strip mall that neighbors a dollar store & a Rite Aid that recently closed. We were within walking distance at a Japanese grocery store to kill time before this restaurant opened at 10 AM. She ordered it to go as the lady who took the order thought we were there the day before??? She was just mistaken & my wife laughed. We sat for a short time in the entry way while checking out the clean fresh cute interior at the restaurant. The beef chow fun came out hot and steamy. She took a bite of it & was extremely happy! Yes she said this beef chow fun (dry) was authentically perfect! We will definitely come back! They make congee (jook) & other mouthwatering looking dishes!!!Woohoo. Thank goodness!

Based one dish i ordered. The Chinese sausage and preserved pork in a clay pot. I'm not impressed. I feel the dish is only worth five dollars instead of 13. There's nothing special about it you can easily make that dish at home. I definitely will not come back for it but I'm willing to try their other dishes.

I visited the Taste of Original many times after they opened for business less than a year ago. The food is so good! As their name says, “Taste of Original”. Many of their dishes are from the traditional Chinese culture. They have those fishes available and have the original delicious tastes.The service we received tonight is excellent as it always is. I like their modern dining room design with the white tables. It gave me a very clean feeling. Once again! I enjoyed my dinner tonight!Parking: I found my parking easily most of the timeWheelchair accessibility: ADA parking is available. The restaurant is wheelchair-accessible
My wife and I went to try this place out, It had been a long time since we had good Chinese food, for starters we had the Pigs ear , I enjoyed it , it was served cold with some cucumbers and garnished lightly with cilantro, we also had the good ole egg roll, I know what you are thinking "Authentic" but it was fresh, I am thinking they make the daily , the vegetables were fresh and the wrap was also very fresh. I also had the Fish and eggplant in a Clay Pot . This was our favorite dish. The fish was very subtle and the sauce was delicious and the egg plant just complimented the dish. O cant forget about the fried rice withe seafood in xo sauce , it was fresh and delicious. We cant wait to be back with a larger group so we can try more dishes. I am not Chinese but it tasted authentic, My only wish was that I spoke the language and can order what they don't have on the menu, This place gave us the feeling that the Patrons were eating things off the menu and I want to try them.

Okay, we're Chinese (and I personally do not like to have Chinese food all the time). To say we have a new favorite Chinese place in Sactown is a pretty big statement. Interesting they have a more focused menu than most similar restaurant. The crispy noodle dish you see on all the pictures is my favorite (though a big oily). We love the jook and veggie dishes.

This place slaps, everything is cooked so nicely and tastes very nice. Their greens alone were addicting. Had congee and it was prepared very nicely. Its rare for me to find really high quality authentic chinese food in Sac and this is one of those few places. Very happy to see businesses like this that serve high quality cooked food at regular prices. Whoever's cooking really knows how to cook, all dishes come out looking very professional, not sloppy cooking and presentation like most/majority of Chinese places (sorry to say this).

My new favorite local Chinese spot. It's bright and clean as you walk in and plenty of seating. The server is attentive and fast. The food was flavorful and delicious. We tried the rice noodles with pork. My favorite dish is the honey pork. The chicken chow main was so tasty and the noodles were cooked to perfection. I'll be back to try the other dishes. Had a great lunch and perfect!

I have been looking for a place that serves good porridge. The service is excellent and place is clean. The porridge reminds me of eating it when I was little in Hong Kong. Definitely will come back and try other dishes
