Just okay. The wine...the ambience. The grounds are really pretty but everything else was average. Came here as a stop on the wine train. Probably don't feel the need to return. With so many options in Napa, it just didn't stand out to me.
Napa is now nearly hostile towards families. I get it. This is "adult Disneyland". But having found ourselves here with our kids for a marathon, and an hospitality industry was absolutely anything but hospitable to us because we had kids, Charles Krug nailed it. I came here for my birthday with a group of nine and we were a mixed group of drinkers and non-drinkers. I'll stay off the bat that the reason why I knocked off a star is because when I booked, the description was a patio tasting and we were excited to be seated outdoors by the vineyard.
