1990s diner energy here, a rather refreshing, more-like-grandma's house experience compared to nearly every other restaurant around. Solid two-egg breakfast. French toast tasted just like how my grandmother makes it; slightly soggy, just how it should be.
We didn't know this area and randomly chose this restaurant. We were pleasantly surprised by their high quality, amazing food! We ordered club sandwich and fish and chips. The fish was fresh and plump and covered with the best batter that I have ever tasted. The club sandwich was delicious, too! The bread was amazing! We were on our way from Napa to Calistoga and decided to stop by St. Helena for some shopping and to grab some breakfast. It was Saturday morning and we got there at about 11 am.
