Always look forward to going back. We belong to the social club and every month get to experience new wines and events. Had the Night Chardonnay last time we were in. Crisp and delicious! Scenario: We arrived 30 minutes early to our reservation and were given a private room in the back. An hour into our dinner we were told they gave us the wrong table and that the table originally reserved for 7:00pm arrived 30 minutes late and they need the room. Our room was confirmed by Scott and Haidi. We were given specific information that we would have the private room. We even knew that the room is only booked for one party a night. We would not know that information if we did not have a discussion with Scott and Haidi. We were not given any choice but that we needed to move to a different area to accommodate a larger table, regardless of the fact that we did nothing wrong. The situation was extremely mishandled. 1. The waitress and staff took no ownership of the situation. All we kept hearing was I'm sorry but Haidi double booked us and I can call Haidi. 2. The way we were treated is that our party was not as important as the other. 3. We were even blamed for this miscommunication. They said "we asked you if you are the birthday party, and you said yes". This was true as we are taking our yearly trip to celebrate 3 birthdays. 4. The waitress said we can give you free birthday dessert. This does not fix the situation. We don't want free dessert, we want to be treated like our party is just as important as another party. 5. Food took extremely long to get. We order appetizers and it has taken longer than 30 min to arrive. Our dinner order has yet to arrive. 6. When food arrived food it was not prepared as we ordered. Items, (spinach), did not come out. Basic drinks (soda) were forgotten. This could have been handled much differently. There was service breakdown across the board. Not once did a manager approach us to help mitigate the situation. When we reached out to Scott and Haidi we never received a response. Where was the leadership? **UPDATE** Owner reached out and was able to make it right.

Beautiful atmosphere in downtown St. Helena. The owner Heidi was very friendly and welcoming, she not only recommended a really great wine flight they were featuring, but was also helpful in navigating the town for our stay (recommending a few places that are more touristy, and some places where the locals enjoy a night out). Can't recommend The Saint enough!

The food we ordered was delicious and delightful. The French style pork chop was out of this world. Two bone ribs and cooked to perfection along with sweet potato puree and other tasty fill ins. The wine list is outstanding, and I highly recommend having a peek. Lastly, but not least, our server Kim was attentive, friendly, and professional. Looking forward to our next visit.
