Growing up, I was very fortunate to have friends with mothers and grandmothers who were always making tortillas, corn and flower. There is nothing like fresh handmade tortillas.
This place is absolutely phenomenal. I am almost fifty years old and I have never gone to a Mexican restaurant that tastes homemade. I finally have. I cannot say enough good things about this food and the people that work there. This place is almost three hours from where I live and I'll be coming here as many times as I can.

“On my way home from Pinnacles Natural Park and stopped for gas on 101. This is perhaps the best Arby’s I’ve been. The interior designed is much better than the one I frequent. Each booth even comes with outlets and usb ports. Clean, too.“

“I love El Pollo Loco. I eat at El Pollo Loco everywhere I go. I live in the Hayward area, and they get a LOT of my business. I highly recommend it. The chicken is grilled, not fried, and is not greasy. Put it together with the ingredients they use, such as Mexican style rice and beans and you've got a delicious, satisfying meal. Best part is it's more sensibly priced than KFC. The Salinas location did not disappoint. I'm visiting from my home area and loved the burrito I ate here today.“

“I have pretzels at multiple different places and I have a few favorites so I thought I’d try Wetzel’s. The plain salted pretzels are soft with a nice outside texture and buttery. One of the best pretzels I’ve had. (I used to lot be a pretzel person but my wife got me hooked about a year ago.)“

“I am having a love-hate relationship with Jack in the box right now. I love their deep fried tacos, but lately it seems that they have stopped putting the slice of cheese in the taco. and if it doesn't have the slice of cheese, it's just not worth eating. It only happens occasionally it's not something I can fully complain about until it's happening consistently. I'm trying to give them the benefit of the doubt. hopefully they come through for me.“

“Let me just start off by saying that this place is so much better than subway. I was a subway guy for most of my life, and one day as I was leaving marshals to get some cheap socks, I saw the big letters of, “Jersey Mikes” and decided, “why not let’s try something new”

First and only immediate issue is that this place doesn’t have Meatball subs.

Outside of that I was welcomed by friendly staff, and when asked what I wanted mentioned I was a first time customer. The staff walked me through their menu and I ended up getting one of their cold cut sandwiches and having it done “mikes way”. I got myself a drink and cookie to go. I especially noticed the way they fold and wrap their sandwiches, something subway never really did. But I found it interesting…. Maybe more professional.

I remember taking my first bite in my used 1990 Honda civic and was amazed by the flavor and quality of the ingredients, for a second I forgot I was in a car that was almost 35 years old.

Overall this is my favorite sandwich shop in salinas with Ike’s being a distant 2nd and Subway being last. Erik’s deli? Never heard of them. If you want a solid cold cut, with staff that care about giving you quality service. Come here for lunch! Come here for dinner come here for breakfast. There is a sandwich for everyone.

“I visited Taco Bell in Spring 2024 in Salinas - Williams Ranch, CA next to both N Sanborn Road and E Boronda Road. The parking lot was very easy and comfortable to park in including the disabled parking. Taco Bell in Salinas, CA was my favorite restaurant that offers and delivers sodas and more. The food, service, and atmosphere were excellent.“

“I have done take out since that all they offer being a gas staion convenience store the chicken has been outstanding and the side, but their biscuit twice now were not warm and fresh, so ask for fresh one when loading your bag. Other than that great Crispy tasty chicken!!“

“I was driving through Salinas and I was a bit peckish. Wanting to grab a quick bite without breaking the bank, I saw this Subway. So off I go. The place was clean, staff provided good customer service, and the sandwich was delicious. It's comforting to know that I can go any Subways and get the same quality sandwich and reasonable prices. And this location did just that.

I sat inside to eat, it was clean and comfortable. The AC was cranking. There were a steady stream of customers eating in, the staff kept the dining room clean. The shop is located in a shopping plaza with plenty of parking. They are located on the corner of South Main Street (Route 68) and Nissen Road. The only glitch, in my visit, was that the restroom was out of order but there was a plumber there working on the issue.“

“This location is good for late night , but only drive-thru is open. I mostly use the app to order ahead & usually I’m able to get in and out within 5 min or less. Interaction with employees are pleasant and friendly. Depending on the time of day if you dine in can be really busy , although others might not tend to clean their area when done eating . I do clean my area when finished eating & usually the staff is good about cleaning up the dining when need be.

Only suggestion is that their fountain drinks aren’t consistently good. On multiple different visits to this location , the sugar in the soda is very minimal. It’s as if you’re drinking carbonated water with a hint of flavor , so I don’t get drinks from
