Wonderful customer service, and a big selection of donuts! I've been looking for a good buttermilk bar for a while, and Sunshine has stellar ones! The man who helped me also put an extra donut and a bunch of free donut holes in my bag. I highly recommend Sunshine Donuts, their donuts are crispy and not soggy too, which is a make or break for me.
First time here and fantastic pastries I got a maple bar and cinnamon roll and it was so soft,chewy, thick and the glaze was sweet and soft. Definitely will be back to try the cinnamon twist and mozzarella sticks.

it’s true - everything about this place is high quality ! still the best donut i’ve ever had & i’ve lived in San Francisco, NYC, Los Angeles & Tokyo. Every time I visit my hometown I make sure to stop by my Sunshine Donut for that simple classic donut in a quaint little plaza in South Salinas. None of that hipster cereal or inventive recipes…. just pure nostalgic flavors. Super lovely owner too. Go & support this place, you’ll see why everyone loves it!
